"That's true," Yu Zhou nodded. "As long as we find Fukude Kei, it'll be easier to locate Belial as well."
Yu Zhou was also thinking that if they could get Fukude Kei to contribute, using his Phase Reversal Organ to convert Belial's energy, then with three purification beams combined with the organ's effect, perhaps they could really restore Belial.
After all, just moments ago, Belial's body had shown signs of change—his original appearance had even started to resurface.
Hearing Yu Zhou's reasoning, Zero nodded in agreement.
The three of them turned into streaks of light and returned to Earth, already planning how to track down Fukude Kei.
First, they needed manpower. Laiha and Leito posted missing person notices everywhere for the famous author Fukude Kei.
After being defeated by Ultraman Geed last time, the famous author Fukude Kei had vanished. His publisher had been unable to reach him, and eventually even reported him missing.
Yu Zhou also contacted Zenna from AIB, requesting that the organization use its resources to search for Fukude Kei.
Since AIB specialized in protecting Earth and monitoring aliens, they were already very invested in matters concerning Belial and Fukude Kei. As soon as they received Yu Zhou's request, they immediately mobilized to begin the search.
…
Belial might have escaped, but Yu Zhou wasn't particularly worried. He spent his days at home without a care, eating, sleeping, gaming, and waiting for news of Fukude Kei—or Belial's reappearance.
This period of relative peace continued until, one morning, Yu Zhou was jolted awake by the sound of demolition explosions.
"Who the hell is blasting buildings this early in the morning?!"
Groggy, he rubbed his eyes and grumbled.
"Wait a minute… blasting? Demolition?"
A strange sense of déjà vu welled up inside him. Yu Zhou suddenly leapt out of bed, rushed to the rooftop, and looked down.
There, a black-and-white striped mechanical monster fired a blast that reduced a nearby building to rubble—then turned its cannon toward Yu Zhou's own apartment.
"At last I've found you! I, Dada, will have my revenge today!"
A voice boomed from within the mechanical beast, leaving Yu Zhou stunned.
"Revenge…?"
Yu Zhou thought back carefully. This machine monster had appeared in the original storyline—the pilot was none other than Dada.
He remembered it clearly. When Yu Zhou first arrived in Geed's world, Dada had tried to abduct Ai, the girl carrying the Little Star, from the manager's warehouse. Yu Zhou had stopped him, and Ai had burned Dada into ashes.
In the original plot, Dada had piloted this very machine monster to take revenge on Fukude Kei—because in that version, Fukude Kei had been the one to destroy him.
"So now he's come after me instead?"
Yu Zhou couldn't believe what he was seeing. This guy had been burned into ash—how was he even alive?!
With a thunderous boom, a shell blasted toward Yu Zhou's building.
Reacting instantly, Yu Zhou pulled out his Sparklence, pressed the button, and transformed.
"What?!!"
Inside the mechanical beast, Dada was dumbstruck. Standing before him was a towering silver, purple, and crimson giant—Ultraman Tiga!
His intended target for revenge had turned out to be Tiga?
Dada had only dared to make trouble because Belial had gone into hiding. With Belial out of sight, Dada figured he could stir up chaos and unleash his mechanical legion for revenge.
But this? Facing Tiga?
Tiga was the one who had beaten Belial into the ground at the Monster Graveyard. How the hell could he fight that?!
Yu Zhou, now as Tiga, caught the incoming shell in his hand and hurled it right back.
Boom! The explosion tore across the machine monster's body.
"Too busy—gotta go!"
To Yu Zhou's surprise, Dada's panicked voice rang out from inside the beast, and the mechanical monster immediately turned tail and bolted skyward.
"…What the hell?"
Yu Zhou was dumbfounded. He had never seen an alien this cowardly—fire one shot and then run away?
Most alien invaders fought to the bitter end against an Ultraman. This was the first time Yu Zhou had met one who bailed at the first sign of trouble.
Well—except Belial, but Belial's retreats were always strategic withdrawals for a grand comeback.
Watching the machine monster flee, Yu Zhou scowled. "No way. My building's half-destroyed, my home almost got hit. I can't let him go."
Besides, he'd already transformed—backing off now would just feel like a waste.
Crossing his arms before his forehead, Yu Zhou shifted into his silver-purple Sky Type form, then shot into the sky after the fleeing foe.
"Don't chase me!" Dada's panicked voice echoed from the monster. "I told you, I don't want to fight anymore—why are you still after me?!"
"Ice Beam!"
Yu Zhou had no patience for excuses. Try to wreck his home and then run? No chance.
A freezing beam streaked out, covering the mechanical monster in ice. Its movements slowed, but it still managed to break through the atmosphere. The chase continued into space.
"Tiga! What do you want from me?!" Dada's desperate voice cried out again.
Realizing escape was impossible, he stopped running. The mechanical beast floated in the void, facing Tiga head-on.
"You tell me where your home is, and I'll go demolish it instead," Yu Zhou said coolly, arms folded. "Or, I'll just dismantle this toy of yours."
"I…"
Dada felt like he'd swallowed poison. Why, oh why, had he chosen to mess with Tiga?
Truthfully, Yu Zhou knew from the original plot that Dada's mech was strong—strong enough to hold its own even against Zero's Ultimate form.
So why was he this terrified of Tiga?
"Enough talk—let's fight!"
Yu Zhou lost patience and lunged forward, striking at close range.
Reluctantly, Dada braced himself. Their fists clashed—and shockingly, Yu Zhou was forced back several steps.
"My mechanical legion… it can beat Tiga?"
Dada stared in disbelief, then suddenly grew cocky.
"In that case, Tiga—you can die here!" He charged, driving the machine monster forward.
Yu Zhou, shaken from being knocked back, glanced at his silver-purple form. Ah—that explained it. He was in Sky Type.
"Did I just… turn into Daigo? Rushing in headfirst like this…"
In Daigo's own words, Tiga only really had three forms: Multi Type, Sky Type, and Power Type.
With a shake of his head, Yu Zhou switched to Power Type. His body glowed red and silver as he threw a crushing punch.
Boom!
This time, Tiga had the clear advantage. The mechanical monster's arm burst in a shower of sparks.
In the original story, even Zero's Ultimate form had struggled in hand-to-hand combat against Dada's mech.
But Yu Zhou's Power Type boosted his strength massively. Against that kind of raw power, the mechanical beast was no match.
"How can this be?!"
Dada was stunned. Just moments ago, he had forced Tiga back. Now, after nothing more than a color change, his mech had suffered heavy damage.
"Sorry—I'm out!"
Dada spun his machine monster around and tried to retreat again.
"Oh no you don't!"
Yu Zhou grabbed the monster's arm, spun it in a wild Armstrong-style rotating throw, and hurled it straight at the moon.
Crash!
The monster slammed into the lunar surface, kicking up clouds of dust.
"Such power…!"
Inside the cockpit, sparks rained down as Dada struggled to maintain control. The mech shuddered violently, on the verge of failure.
