"Show her a quarter where she can live.", Kai Xiang said.
"Okay. Grandpa. But I am curious that why you are giving her a special treatment.", Cheng Xiao asked.
"Do what I have told you? Don't ask unnecessary questions.", Kai Xiang said.
Cheng Xiao pouted and rolled his eyes. He looked at Ning Ning and got curious to know that what's special in her that his grandfather wants him to give her training.
They both left the courtyard. Ning Ning walked behind Cheng Xiao quietly. Cheng Xiao stopped and turned.
"Welcome to Fenglan country, Xinghua Dynasty.", Cheng Xiao said.
"What's this palace name? I'm new here that's why I don't know anything about it.", Xin Ye said.
"This whole palace including emperor's, mine, grandfather's and the area in which it's spreading is Qionglan Palace. ", Cheng Xiao said.
Xin Ye nodded her head. Cheng Xiao walked further.
"From where you have arrived here? Where's your village? Who are your parents? What they do?", Cheng Xiao asked.
"Oh no. He has started asking me. The only way is to avoid his questions is ignore him.", Xin Ye thought.
Cheng Xiao looked at her. Xin Ye walked slowly and she pretended that she didn't hear anything. She didn't even look at him. She looked around and watched the surroundings.
"Miss. I have asked you something.", Cheng Xiao said.
"What? Me?", Xin Ye asked and looked at him in shock to pretend that she didn't get anything.
Xin Ye looked at a worm which came towards her. She jumped to avoid it. Cheng Xiao looked at her silly gestures. She shook his head.
"It won't bite you.", Cheng Xiao said.
"I..it's poisonous.", Xin Ye screamed.
"Shh.. don't scream... Shh.", Cheng Xiao said. He immediately throws the worm away from a leaf.
Xin Ye took a relief breath and she held her chest.
"Are you alright?", Cheng Xiao asked.
"Yeah.", Xin Ye replied.
"Don't be scared of them. They are not dangerous to the people who lives here. It only cause damage to outsiders.", Cheng Xiao said.
"But I am an outsider too.", Xin Ye said.
"No. You are not because my grandfather thlse worms won't attack on you.", Cheng Xiao said.
Xin Ye nodded her head. Cheng Xiao looked at her and he stopped at his place for a moment. His eyes mesmerizing her and he forgot to blink his eyes.
"Is there anything on my face?", Xin Ye asked.
"You are cute! I really liked you.. I mean I like...I like your cuteness... Not you .. don't take it in the wrong way.", Cheng Xiao said and he bit his tongue. Then he hides his face with the handfan after opening it.
Xin Ye giggled. Cheng Xiao closed his fan and he tried to be confident.
"I want to know about the family members of emperor. And I want to know about you too. And all the royal family members.", Xin Ye said.
"Hmm. I am emperor's nephew. My mother was his sister. My parents died years ago then my uncle kept me with himself. There's only six years age difference in me and him. My mother was eldest and my uncle was youngest in the family. Only they both are my grandfather's kids.", Cheng Xiao said.
"I'm sorry.", Xin Ye said.
"No. You can ask me. It's been a long my parents died but my grandpa took very good care of me. I'm 26.", Cheng Xiao said.
"It means emperor of 32!! Why didn't he marry yet? Why is he still single?", Xin Ye asked.
"Because he was in mediation for many years to built his powers. He won the trust of time demon and go the Chronofang. Then he never got a chance to get married. But now he is finally going to marry a princess.", Cheng Xiao said.
"No. He will not marry her. He will cancel the marriage or he will kill her.", Xin Ye thought.
"Ning Ning! Won't you tell me about yourself?", Cheng Xiao asked.
"I'm sorry. I can't tell you anything about me. It's personal.", Xin Ye said.
Cheng Xiao pouted and nodded his head. He sighed and then started walking. Xin Ye took a sigh of relief and walked behind him.
They both crossed a bridge and then Cheng Xiao brought her in a quarter which was a bit far from other maid's quarters. They went inside.
Xin Ye coughed due to dust. Cheng Xiao closed his nose and he looked around with his sharp eyes.
"Can you live here?", Cheng Xiao asked.
Xin Ye hesitated because the quarter was very dirty. Everywhere there was thick layer of dust and even the furnitures were old. Rats made holes and other varieties of small insects were there too.
"Can you live here?", Xin Ye asked.
"No way. I am a prince. I have my own palace which is so luxurious. I can't think about to live here. I will not even dream about it.", Cheng Xiao said.
"So how can you expect me to live here?", Xin Ye asked in frustration. Her mood turned off after seeing this dirty quarter. First of all she was tired and hungry. And now she didn't have any better place to live.
*grrr*grrr*
Cheng Xiao looked at Xin Ye with wide eyes. Xin Ye held her tummy. Her face flushed red due to awkwardness.
"I haven't eaten anything since morning.", Xin Ye said slowly.
"You can stay in my palace for a day. Tomorrow the servants will clean this quarter then you can shift here.", Cheng Xiao said.
Xin Ye smiled due to the kindness of this prince.
"Really. Thanks.", Xin Ye said.
Cheng Xiao only smiled. He came out from the quarter. Xin Ye walked behind him. He looked at her and then took her to his palace.
"So can we be friends?", Cheng Xiao asked.
"Hmm.", Xin Ye replied. She wasn't ready for this question and for this sudden friendship.
