Chapter 16: The Past of Fenrir.
As Sam asked Fenrir about his past, the great wolf began to speak. Sam, however, didn't even listen, finding Fenrir's story boring, but Astra was listening very carefully.
Fenrir started, "Once, this world also had humans. It was a very beautiful world. It had no magic and no monsters. It was in an age where people used mechanical things. That's why it was called the Age of Machines. People daily used machines as their life depended on it."
"They used firearms called guns: rifles, missiles, and the most terrifying of all of them was a nuke."
As Fenrir was talking, Astra asked Fenrir about many things.

Mr. Fenrir, if that world had no magic, then were the firearms they used powerful? (⊙_⊙)?
Fenrir then told her, "Their firearms were strong but not as powerful as magic. Their firearms are so weak that if they touched a being with magic, it wouldn't even scratch them."
"But their strongest weapon, the nuke, can do some damage. Still, they were very weak. One day, I, Fenrir, as a wolfkin still in my newborn state, fell from the sky like a meteorite in a country named Bangladesh."

Was that country powerful?
After hearing this, Fenrir said, "That country wasn't very powerful, but there were many powerful countries in this world. They were Russia, America, China, Korea, and Japan. There were other countries that were powerful, but these were the best of them all."
"When I first arrived, an old couple found me and started to raise me. I was very happy with them. I always played with them, ate with them, and slept with them."

Wow!!! That's a very happy story! (^▽^)
Then how did those humans go extinct? (•ิ_•)?
"All of the humans died because of me." As Fenrir said that, his face darkened and his eyes became teary.
Then Fenrir explained that one day, while he was playing with his owners, he suddenly started to feel pain out of nowhere. When Fenrir was feeling pain, he suddenly started screaming. While he was screaming, a mysterious aura vent out of his body. When it came in touch with wolves, they suddenly started to mutate. The wolves became big and started to attack everyone on sight. Fenrir also went berserk and killed his owners and many other people. By the time Fenrir gained his consciousness, everything was in chaos. The mutated wolves started killing everyone. Fenrir was very traumatized to see that scene.
Fenrir's trauma failed him again. This time, he went berserk once more. But this time, Fenrir became the leader of all those wolves and started to kill every human in their sight. Everybody failed to stop the wolves led by Fenrir. All the armies tried their best to stop the wolves, but all of their weapons were of no use. Some even used nukes on these monsters, but Fenrir deployed a shield which they couldn't even penetrate with nukes. One after another, every powerful country failed.
Blood was scattered everywhere. Some humans tried to escape but failed. Some tried to take shelter, but it was of no use. The wolves followed their scent and killed them brutally. By the time Fenrir regained consciousness, everything was already over. Not even a single human soul survived. Fenrir couldn't even believe he did this. His shock became a trauma to him.
Millions of years passed. Fenrir grew bigger and bigger and eventually got a human form. But all the traces of humans ever living on that world totally disappeared.
Fenrir became the God of Wind and a mythical Spirit Level god. At that, he thought that he was so invincible that no one could kill him anymore. But one day, a human came to the world, which made Fenrir super shocked.
The story of Fenrir ended. While Fenrir was talking, only Astra was listening, and he saw Sam snoozing. Fenrir then said, "I didn't even know that the human I saw would kill me that brutally." Fenrir's eyes looked full of sorrow.
Astra became tearful as well.

This is so sad. (T_T) To think Mr. Fenrir went through so much.
As Astra was talking, Sam's snore became even louder. Astra became annoyed, then shouted at Sam.

Geez!!! Master, wake up! (＞︿＜) Fenrir's story has ended.
Sam's snore ended, and he finally woke up, but he hadn't heard a single word of the story. He replied with, "Huh did something happened ????"
