Chapter 10 - Chapter 10

Any normal person would say the moon was full, but with a glance from a person with knowledge they would tell you it wasn't full. With an atmosphere such as this it could probably cause a dinosaur to sleep.

Night passed changing into day they snacked on a few snacks for breakfast, Ami was at the peakness of her boredom. She sighed exaggeratedly loud before asking how much longer did they have to go. In response Cary said soon.

Solum had his window whone all the way down looking at the birds that were mostly crows.

Another hour had passed and the drove down a road and finally Solum spot a house. It appeared to be a community, they passed a sign labeled ' Our Name ', the sign was green and appeared very old and there was an eerieness Solum felt by reading it.

Crossing the sign Solum felt a strange feeling as if something was pulled from within his chest or his heart had swollen. Following the road they saw houses and other buildings on both sides.

" Finally civilization," commented Ami relieved to see something other than trees.

As Cary drove to their new house, there was something very strange that Solum counted into account. At every house it seemed as if they too were just arriving. There were cars and people unloading everywhere, but how could that be?

They took the final stop stopping at a two story house. There was a fence going around it and a neat cut lawn at the front.

" Here we are," said Cary turning the car keys to a stop.

All the car doors were slammed as the family hoped out to look at there new home.

Two weeks ago Cary informed he got a new job out of the city, he said his company was buying him a house and he would also get a raise. Melissa and her children were easily swoon by this, but little did Solum care.

Cary opened the door showing his family around as if he had lived there his whole life. Melissa liked her room very much, it was large. Simon too liked his, Solum's room was the last room at the hall and he couldn't care less.

The family happily walked back to the car taking out their boxes.

" Hey Cary!" a voice from the neighboring house called.

" May! How are you?" Cary asked seeing the woman, possibly a close friend.

" Who's that?" Melissa said. She had heard a femine voice so she quickly left her box on a near by table on the inside and rushed out.

" Oh that's May. I know her,"

"Oh," Melissa said feeling insecure for some reason. May had very dark hair, bright eyes, she seemed a bit fat, but she had curves in the right areas that no one would notice. Melissa looked at May's breast, then her waist and then he big perfectly rounded bottom.

Melissa swallowed and held Cary's had to show her dominance. She wore a polite smile and waved at May who quickly waved back. May blinked at Cary with another smile before leaving.

The family unpacked, or rather the entire community was unpacking, every resident was just as new as the other one.

That night the family ate a simple dinner before heading to bed, Ami and Simon felt miserable as they couldn't use the Internet yet, but Cary assured them he would fix everything.

Solum laid on his bed staring into the ceiling, he saw nothing, but his body felt fear from this place. He couldn't explain this feeling, but he felt uncomfortable.

The next morning Solum was woken up as his surroundings felt stuffy. He open his eyes but everywhere was dark. He attempted to stand, but he hit his head instead.

" Ouch!"

Solum looked around seeing the boxes and new exactly where he was. With easy movements he pulled himself from the darkness and standing up he wondered how he ended up under his bed.

His room was a mess, his belongings were scattered everywhere across the room, he had no memory of this. Solum decided not to spend time on the situation and started arranging his room.

He reached for a book that seemed to be hiding behind a furniture. He took it in his hand knowing the book, at the bottom left of the book's surface the words ' From Mom to Solum' was engraved. Solum wished he could remember her.

" Why can't I remember you mom?" Solum muttered running his fingers across the book's surface. If memory served him right he remembers this book was empty with white blank pages. Solum decided he should make use of this book, it shall be his new sketch book came a thought.

Solum flipped the cover reaching the first page and immediately the book fell from his hand. Feeling fear he slowly reached out taking up the book again, he flipped through the pages that were filled with disturbing writings.

One the very first page the text ' You'll die' was written.

Solum couldn't believe this, he hadn't wrote these writings so why?

One the other page phrases like ' die', don't look', ' it's a lie', ' it has no name', ' Give it no name'. These words were written disturbing in each direction with an untidy penmanship.

Almost as if someone wrote without looking or as a child holding pencil for the first time.

Solum closed the book not wanting to think about it, just trying to think about it was brewing a headache in his head.

He freshen up and walked downstairs. Only Melissa was there around her new counter making a little cake in the kitchen. Her hair was in a high bun and she wore an over the knee dress that exposed her breasts too much. She was in more jewelry than usual too.

" Good morning," Solum said stepping off the last step.

" Morning sweety," Melissa greeted happily.

Simon was at the table eating breakfast and didn't respond, but this wasn't new to Solum.

Cary had gone out very early this morning and Ami left not too long ago as she wanted to look round. But if she was to be honest there was a boy she saw yesterday.

" You know Solum why don't you call me Mom? Ami and Simon does it so you should too," Melissa prompt while stirring her hand.

" Hmm," Solum didn't respond as he reached for on apple. Melissa wasn't his mother and so he wouldn't call her mom. Solum thought and he didn't even call Cary father, so why would he call Melissa mother?
