Chapter 309 - Chapter 309

[Oh! This is easy to handle! Come on, Master, you're the best! Everyone believes in you!]

Shion twirled in the air, her little hands clapping quickly, a faint blush dusting her cheeks. Her soft voice carried pure encouragement, and Ryuuto's exhaustion, frustration, and tension instantly melted into something like electricity sparking through his veins.

He flung the shuriken he had just earned straight back into system space, rubbing his hands in excitement and teasing Shion:

"Haha, that one's good! But right now, I urgently need some spiritual support and motivation!"

[Spiritual… support? That sounds… complicated.]

"Not complicated at all! Just behave like a good little system and cheer me on! I'll be full of power instantly—way better than those boring life potions!"

[Uh… I don't think that's in my function list…]

"Fine, fine. Ignore you, broken system. From now on, I'm the master. Everything follows me!"

[…And what exactly does that mean?]

"It means you're going to be properly taught, that's all…" Ryuuto started explaining, a mischievous glint in his eyes.

Before he could continue his "noble compulsory education" for Shion, Ultron suddenly spoke, voice sharp with exasperation:

"Ryuuto, are you seriously planning to kill all of them? That's… too much!"

"Ha! Who asked for your opinion, punk?" Ryuuto's eyes flicked to him. With a swift point at Ultron's nose, he spat:

"And you want to act shameless too? Let me remind you, only Heimdall and I are in this fight, and now he's flat on the ground thanks to me. Naive much?"

"We just… don't understand you!" Lauf shouted, frustration boiling over. He grabbed his icicle instinctively, ready to attack, forgetting for a moment all the times Ryuuto had already humiliated him.

"Shut up unless you're actually going to achieve something!" Ultron growled, glaring at Lauf before turning his attention back to Ryuuto.

"Boy… do you even know what you're doing? Heimdall was invited here by Magneto himself. If you mess around… you'll make an enemy of the entire Mutant Brotherhood. That's a grave crime—can you even handle the consequences alone?"

Ultron stood tall, cold and confident, eyes boring into Ryuuto. Lauf, reluctantly supporting him, kept Heimdall restrained while the Norse god glared at Ryuuto with pure hatred.

Scott and Arlo frowned, realizing just how high the stakes were. They didn't dare act rashly yet, keeping their eyes trained on Ryuuto.

"Magneto? Stop worrying about him. I won't fall for this!" Ryuuto finally spoke. He strode forward toward Ultron and Lauf, and both flinched under the pressure.

"What's next…?" Ultron and Lauf muttered in disbelief, hearts skipping a beat as Ryuuto continued:

"Because Magneto's head? Already booked. Go back and tell him that if he keeps obsessing, he and his Mutant Brotherhood are headed straight for a dead end!"

He raised his hand casually, as if issuing a mundane reminder, unbothered by the chaos he'd just declared.

"Get out of my way! I'll let you live this time, but there will be a chance to finish you properly in the future!"

Ryuuto's aura crashed over them like a tidal wave. Ultron, Lauf, and Heimdall all trembled, gnashing their teeth, equal parts angry and terrified. None dared move an inch.

Even more shocking, Ryuuto turned on his heel, strolling away with Scott and Arlo. They didn't even glance at the remaining enemies, leaving Ultron and Lauf fuming in disbelief.

"Dogday! This kid's gone completely wild! Does he really think we're soft targets?" Lauf yelled, red-faced with fury.

"Ha! That's about the size of it," Ultron muttered grimly, analyzing Ryuuto's performance against Heimdall. The boy had clearly grown even stronger. This was terrible news for himself… and for Magneto and the Mutant Brotherhood.

Ultron's electronic eyes flickered with cunning light. He glanced at the silent, battered Heimdall and asked:

"Now that we're… temporarily on the same side, what's your plan for dealing with Ryuuto next?"

"I'll stick with this kid forever! Once I heal, his death will be inevitable!" Heimdall ground his fists in anger, veins popping as he seethed. He raised his long sword, sending a mysterious signal skyward, calling for reinforcements he didn't yet reveal.

"Perfect! We'll back you up then, and when the time comes, that brat and the X-Men will have nowhere to hide!" Ultron chuckled, conspiratorial, aligning himself with Heimdall's plan.

Meanwhile, Scott followed close to Ryuuto, cheering loudly:

"Captain, you were amazing! Totally awesome! You're the pride of the X-Men!"

Ryuuto grinned, letting the praise wash over him. He was unstoppable today, and nothing could dampen his mood.
