Chapter 131 - It's Hard To Learn Good Things, But It's Incredibly Fast To Learn Bad Things

"Wait a moment?!!"

Dwun breathed a sigh of relief, but before he could catch his breath again, he immediately held it back: "What do you mean? You want to promote this chat room to the world?!!"

[That's right.]

Ickshonpe explained: [I will let everyone in the world experience the chat room.]

"Then we..."

[Don't worry, this chat room you're in is the highest level. You can come here and communicate face-to-face, even if it's just information-based projections.]

[But for everyone else, they can only communicate in the chat room through a computer and a screen...]

Ickshonpe made the final decision: [Our chat room here... it's unique, it's one-of-a-kind.]

"Ok!"

Dwun decisively raised his hands and stepped back. "I have no further questions."

The others also had no questions.

Ickshonpe had explained things clearly enough, and they didn't have any misunderstandings.

And the content was very user-friendly.

That was enough.

They could continue to stay in this convenient chat room.

"A chat room for the world…"

List pondered.

He had previously provided Ickshonpe with some professional advice on internet development.

He had a very unique and insightful perspective.

So, after Ickshonpe said this, List immediately thought of it.

If this chat room could truly be promoted globally…

"Then it would truly burst onto the scene out of nowhere!!"

He could already foresee the changes such a medium would bring to the world today.

Even just the flood of ideas about this chatroom now flashing through his mind, any one of them would send unimaginable shockwaves through the world!!

"No wonder he became Ickshonpe's partner."

List thought silently as he studied Luke's figure.

"I guess I'll have to spend more time with him if I get the chance…"

Well, being around Dwun all the time can be contagious.

It's hard to learn good things, but it's incredibly fast to learn bad things.

Playing chess with a terrible player would only make you worse.

List felt it was truly necessary to advance alongside someone as capable as Luke.

Afterward, Ickshonpe briefly explained the functions and usage of the place.

He then vanished, leaving Luke to converse with the Greed Island creators.

"Your name is Luke, right? My name is Dwun!!"

Dwun, the most carefree and uninhibited of all, was the first to come forward and greet Luke.

"Come on, let me introduce them to you."

He was eager to build good relations with the future moderator of the chatroom: "These two are twins, Elena and Eta, and this one is—"

"My name is List."

Before Dwun could continue, List bowed and introduced himself gracefully.

"I look forward to your guidance in the future, Mr. Luke."

He said with a smile, then he extended his hand.

As the saying goes, don't hit someone who smiles, especially since List's goodwill was so obvious.

Luke accepted it.

Although he didn't understand why his goodwill was so strong, it was a cut above the rest.

But Luke also shook hands with the digitalized List.

"Please take care of me."

Even though the other party was digitalized, a true handshake wasn't possible.

But the gesture was enough.

Then Luke turned his gaze to the last person present.

He was, in fact, the one who brought him the most pressure.

"The squinty-eyed monster, huh."

Looking at Razor's gentle smile and signature squinty eyes, Luke felt a slight sigh of admiration.

"Razor."

"Luke."

The two's meeting was rather simple, with only a gentle nod of greeting.

At this point, Razor, still a murderer, wouldn't have much in-depth communication with others.

Luke could sense this, too.

No rush; if there was an opportunity in the future, they would eventually speak more.

At this moment, Luke introduced himself to all the creators of Greed Island currently present.

As for the other creators, such as those representing the letters S, A, N, and another D, they weren't on Greed Island.

Even in the original storyline, there was no introduction to these people.

Luke wasn't interested in finding out about other people he didn't know.

For now, he was only focused on helping Ickshonpe build this chat room.

This would be the foundation for further development of his Nen ability in the future!!

Besides… Luke could tell.

The twin sisters, Eta and Elena, weren't particularly interested in him.

On the contrary, Dwun was pulling Luke along while babbling nonstop.

And then there was List.

Luke still couldn't understand the source of his goodwill.

On the contrary, seeing List so clean, so tidy, so proper… he couldn't possibly have some peculiar sexual preference, right?!

And Razor, this guy was also very measured, maintaining a polite distance.

Neither distant nor close.

He looked like he had been trained in prison.

"Let me tell you, Luke, my name isn't Dwun, it's Wdwune."

Dwun was recounting his name-changing story, a story he had told everyone he knew.

"That bastard, Ging, he actually made me change my name specifically to fit in with the name Greed Island!"

"Although my luck has improved since then, don't you think that guy was a bit excessive?!!"

"And not only that, he also went on blah blah blah..."

As if he had rarely found someone who would listen to him, he excitedly vented his desires. Yet, he didn't realize that the Luke in front of him was responding in a highly formulaic way.

"Well, one of the features of the chat room is smart chat."

In simple terms, it was a small program coded to generate responses based on context.

It wasn't especially difficult, though it did bear a faint shadow of artificial intelligence.

At Luke's suggestion, Ickshonpe had quickly whipped it up in no time.

It's perfect for someone like Dwun right now.

As Dwun continued to confide in Luke about his experiences, the smart chat version of Luke kept responding, constantly giving very fitting comments.

And with the occasional "Really?" "How could this be?!" "So that's how it is…" and similar replies, it was basically maxing out the emotional value.

At least, Dwun felt quite satisfied with the responses.

Well, back when he and List were at Limeiro castle, List had always been indifferent.

Even when they were chatting, they could never really get on the same wavelength.

Now, with a rare chance to talk to someone who could actually converse with him and say things that struck to his heart.

The responses and feedback he received left Dwun with a very positive impression of Luke.

They almost became real friends.
