"What in the fluff is that?! He looks so massive, strong and... Cute!" Toph shouted with a grin on her face as she rolled around on Appa's back like a child getting a present for Christmas.
"How does she know that Appa is cute?!" Katara and Ty Lee asked with confusion at the same time.
Watching Toph roll around happily, Norrak couldn't help but chuckle before jumping onto Appa as well. Katara and Ty Lee followed, with Appa letting out a satisfied whine.
Toph rolling on his back helped Appa scratch his back. It made him comfortable. He had never had anyone outside of Aang, Norrak, and Toph scratch his back.
Norrak could do it because Appa asked him, and since Norrak understood Appa's words, Norrak helped him by forming massive ice picks to scratch his back.
And Toph did it because she was just... Happy to sense Appa?
"Where are we going now? Is it straight towards the Sun City without breaks, or are we going to take breaks to help Toph train Katara?" Ty Lee asked while lying on her back.
Norrak patted Appa on the head to tell him to begin flying, and they were all lifted into the air before Appa started flying towards a direction. The direction was Sun City.
"Well, we could fly towards Sun City with Appa, and also take a two-day break in between the flying to help Katara train," Norrak said as he watched Katara meditate.
He told Katara to meditate, as that would help her get more in tune with herself and her spirit. This will help improve her Chi control and also increase her connection to the elements, allowing for greater control.
But the real reason was for a far greater ability. Norrak felt that Katara, by now, was ready to begin learning bloodbending. Meditating and having her sense heart own blood with her Chi will help.
Katara can use every sub-bending of waterbending by now, like Ice and healing. The only thing she is missing right now is spiritbending and bloodbending in her arsenal.
Spiritbending is a sub-bending of healingbending. This ability allows a bender to bring balance or disrupt the balance of a spirit. It could make them go berserk and corrupt, or heal their corrupt state.
But it has the downside of shortening lifespans; the more you use it, the stronger the corrupt spirit is. Which is why Norrak won't teach or let Katara know about it.
'Knowing her and how seriously she takes her duty. Katara would learn it, and if the time came for a need, use it. But I will never let that happen,' Norrak thought with a smile, shaking his head.
He can use spiritbending himself by now, but he would also never use that unless necessary, or it would bring a benefit to him. Though, as it stands, there is no benefit.
'Hmmm, I also need to learn the technique that allowed Kyoshi to become immortal, ' Norrak thought while remembering the technique created by Tieguai the immortal.
It was not a technique specific to a bending style or element. It was
a spiritual technique that anyone with impeccable focus and will could learn with training and focus.
The technique enabled anyone to achieve immortality through immense mental focus, allowing them to prevent their body from ageing by mentally disassembling and reassembling it to correct microscopic deterioration.
Norrak could definitely learn this since all it took was extreme mental focus and help from Chi control to control his spirit. And if Kyoshi could do it, then others could as well.
Not to mention Katara, who might be as talented, if not more than Kyoshi herself, with the buff from becoming the avatar and having Raava inside her soul.
Even Toph and Ty Lee could achieve it with years of training, especially Ty Lee, who only has her Chi to help her in fights. Though she only uses it to enhance her body and for Chi blocking.
"Norrak looks especially in thought right now. Hey Toph, don't you think he looks even more handsome when he is so focused? He sure is dreamy right now~," Ty Lee said with a smile, her cheek resting on her palm.
"How would I know? I am blind, did you forget? Besides, he must be thinking of something important, or just something perverted, since he seems like one," Toph said with a shrug, only to freeze as a few white hairs from Appa flew into her mouth.
"URGH!" Toph stuck her tongue out with a disgusted face before wiping the hair away. She stopped rubbing Appa's fur and sat up with her arms crossed.
[4 Days later.]
[Meanwhile...]
Roar!
A beam of blue, blazing flame shot into the sky, lighting the surroundings in a haze of light blue, almost as if lightning struck the place. The end of the beam dissipated into heated gas, causing the entire area to heat up madly.
The ground under Azula's foot glowed a red colour before turning yellow and starting to melt into sludge. Azula attached Chi to her feet, stopping her from being burned and sinking.
Azula roared to the sky as blue flames left her mouth. Iroh, Mai and Zuko watched from the sides as Azula trained with the dragons, though they were unwilling to teach someone like Azula.
A day after Azula was defeated by Norrak, she went to find Iroh and Zuko, whom she found easily since they were still in Omashu. She forced Iroh to take her to the dragons.
A quick threat for their unborn child, who was still inside an egg, was sufficient to make them teach Azula. Especially when they realised Azula had blue flames.
"This human... She could definitely learn plasma and rainbow if she continues to grow..." Raw, the red dragon said while squinting his eyes at Azula below him.
Azula is a genius firebender on a level that has never been seen before. She can use blue flames without needing to learn the technique. She was born with the ability to use blue flames.
Even Roku, the previous avatar, only managed to use Blue flames while inside a cave where Spiritual energy and Chi were massively enhanced. And even then, he burned his hand from the heat and the violent flames.
"Hmm? What is that?!" Zuko asked with a jealous glare as he pointed at Azula. Iroh and Mia looked, and their faces conformed into shock at the sight.
The flames from Azula's mouth contracted, and the area covered by the beam of fire condensed until a piercing sound, resembling a high-speed saw cutting through metal, echoed.
A blue laser shot into the air, before Azula looked down at the ground. The laser cut into the ground like butter before extending for tens of meters.
A cut appeared in the earth, so deep that it was hard to see with the eyes. The two dragons watched with wide eyes filled with shock before Azula stopped.
Azula fell onto her knees, clutching her throat in pain as she coughed continuously. But a smirk appeared on her face through the pain, a fighting intent in her eyes.
"Now... Now I have the power to make him submit!" Azula muttered with a glint in her eyes.

Yeah, I decided to have Azula train with the dragons to learn true firebending. By the way, did you guys know that plasma bending is actually real?
I heard about it from the novels that Roku managed to do it. But because of his inability to control it, it was too dangerous to use without severely burning himself.
I decided that Azula, who could use the violent blue flames as if they were normal flames, could likely use them with minor injuries from prolonged use. Besides, Azula's heat resistance must be much higher than Roku's.
