Chapter 27 - chapter 27_ I have missed you

Realizing he had crossed a line, Leo softened. "I'm sorry. Just stay with me, okay?" He pulled her closer, but she resisted. "I'm not going to do anything. I just want to hold you," he said trying to reassure her

By noon, sunlight spilled softly through the hotel curtains.

Daisy blinked awake, her head still foggy from crying the night before.

The first thing she saw was Leo.

He was seated on the sofa, focused on his laptop — but the moment she moved, his eyes shot up.

"You're awake," he said gently.

Daisy didn't answer. She simply looked at him once, cold and distant, then swung her legs off the bed. She pushed herself up to stand.

But after just two steps—

her knee buckled.

Before she could hit the floor, Leo was there, arms strong around her waist.

"Easy," he whispered, holding her up.does it hurt

She glared at him, breath sharp. "Are you asking me if it hurts? When I told you this morning, you spoke to me like I was so girl you can have you way with

Leo's face fell. "Daisy… I'm sorry."

He helped her sit back on the edge of the bed. His hands were gentle, careful — the opposite of his harsh words hours before.

"I just— I don't want to make the wrong move around you anymore," he admitted, voice low.

Daisy looked away, swallowing hard.

The bathroom wasn't far — and yet it felt like a thousand miles.

"I can walk there myself," she muttered, trying to stand again.

Leo placed a hand near her arm — not touching, just offering.

"If you need me, I'm right here," he said quietly.

Daisy paused in the doorway, fingers gripping the frame as another wave of dizziness hit her. But she forced herself forward — she refused to break in front of him again.

After bathing, Daisy put on clothes that covered her body. "We're going home today; Kulture misses you," Leo said. She agreed but added, "I want to take Kulture to my house." "You can greet her there," he replied, dragging her closer. "Daisy, we've already talked about this. Let's not start again. If you want me back, you have to agree to my terms." Leo laughed, "Is that so? Then I'm staying with you." "Daisy, don't you dare!" she exclaimed, trying to pull away. "I'm serious; let me go." "Watch me," he teased. "You've be disobedient lately, and I'll teach you a lesson." Daisy was speechless. "Leo, you think this is funny? If you touch me again, I will sue you for harassment." Leo just laughed and said, "We'll see who ends up begging later

When they got home kulture hug her, I have missed you so much she played with her then Leo took her to her house

As the ride went on, the car filled with silence — but not the cold kind anymore. Kulture had fallen asleep, her tiny chest rising and falling peacefully.

Leo drove with one hand, the other resting casually near Daisy's side of the armrest, as if waiting… hoping she might reach for it.

Finally, he broke the silence.

"Daisy," he said, voice gentle. "I'm sorry… for earlier. And for last night. I forget my strength sometimes."

She glanced at him, caught off guard by the sincerity in his tone.

Leo continued, "I want to do better. I… want to deserve you. Both of you."

Daisy looked away quickly, hiding the way her heart softened. "Just keep your promise," she murmured. "No more bossing me around."

Leo chuckled quietly. "But I thought you liked when I take control?"

Daisy's cheeks warmed instantly. "Leo!"

He grinned, the kind of smile that always tugged at her defenses. "Alright, alright. I'll behave. For now."

The car stopped in front of her home. Leo got out first, opening Daisy's door before she could even unbuckle.
