Chapter 26 - chapter 26_ that's not fair

Leo laid Daisy gently on the bed, but the second his body leaned in closer, she panicked — placing both hands on his chest.

"N-No…" she whispered quickly, eyes wide.

Her voice sounded like a frightened girl, not the strong woman she tried to be.

"Leo…"

Her voice trembled — half warning, half longing.

His eyes never left hers as he carried her toward the bedroom.

Those deep, intense eyes…

The ones she once dreamed of every night.

The ones she still loved.

He laid her gently on the bed, not breaking eye contact even once.

"This isn't just attraction," he said quietly, brushing a strand of hair from her face.

"This is every moment I missed while you were gone… every night I wished you were beside me."

He leaned down, lips tracing the line of her jaw — soft, slow, setting every nerve in her body on fire.

Daisy shivered beneath his touch.

"You think I don't hurt too?" Leo whispered against her skin.

"I lost you. I lost five years of our daughter's life. I lost everything that mattered."

His words…

They were tearing her apart and healing her at the same time.

Daisy's hand slid up his neck, fingers curling into his hair — pulling him closer.

He kissed her again — deeper this time, but slower… like he wanted to savor every second.

Like she was something precious.

Her breath caught.

Her heart surrendered.

But Leo pulled back just slightly — noses touching, lips brushing — forcing her to look into his eyes.

"I want to love you right," he whispered.

"No rushing. No fear. Just us—finally."

Her voice broke, emotion flooding through her:

"Then don't stop loving me."

Leo's thumb brushed her lower lip.

"I'll never stop," he promised.

He kissed her again — slow, meaningful, filled with everything he'd ever felt for her.

His hands traced down her back, pulling her into him — their bodies fitting together like they were made to.

The room fell into a quiet rhythm —

their breaths,

their hearts,

their unspoken confessions…

tangled together at last.

When Daisy woke up, her body ached. Leo had been gentle with his words, but not with his actions, and the soreness was a painful reminder. She saw him in his robe and propped herself up in bed, covering her chest. "Why were you so rough?" she asked, her voice tinged with frustration. He looked at her but didn't respond. "You know, Leo, you're just too rough," she continued, feeling a mix of disappointment and confusion. "

" I'm taking to you Leo daisy shouted " he finally muttered, a defensive edge in his voice. "You were the one holding on so tight. I thought you wanted—"

"That's not fair," Daisy cut in, trembling.

"I told you I was scared. I asked you to slow down."

"I can't promise to be gentle all the time," he replied, almost dismissively. Daisy was taken aback. Wasn't he the one whispering sweet nothings to her the night before? It seemed that once he got what he wanted, his true nature returned, Besides, you'll get used to it, and it won't hurt as much," he said with an air of confidence. She wiped her forehead in disbelief. "Get used to what? I'm not doing that with you again." With that, she lay back down, leaving Leo stunned. "Why would you say that? Are you still upset? I thought I apologized last night," he said, trying to turn her toward him. But Daisy swatted his hand away. "Don't you dare touch me," she warned. "Daisy, I thought we were past this," he said, frustrated. "I told you to slow down, but you wouldn't listen, and now it hurts. You can't touch me without my permission." "That's not going to happen. How do you expect me to do that when we're together?" Leo replied. "Then I'll just go to my house,"I will take kulture along Daisy shot back defiantly. "No, you're staying here, and so am I. If you want to leave, then go ahead," but don't take kulture, Leo are you the one that gave birth to kulture? I also have the right to take my daughter as well are you.
