Boring.
I took a slow sip from my cocktail glass, casting lazy glances at my surroundings. I've been to this club so many times before, yet tonight, for some strange reason, I found it utterly unbearable.
But I needed this tonight. I could not stand another minute in that stupid pack mansion, where all I could see and hear was Arielle.
"Serena!" Louise's voice sliced through my thoughts like a lightning bolt.
I frowned, my drink instantly turning bitter in my mouth. Louise Kamper was the only daughter of the Dark Wood's Gamma. She was an annoying little creature whose sole purpose in life seemed to be to get on my good side and enter my circle of friends.
Tonight was her eighteenth birthday, and this whole mind-numbing party was put together to celebrate this useless achievement.
