Chapter 4 - Nine Tails Strikes Back.

Minato did an excellent job as Hokage,

But as a new father waiting for his wife's childbirth, he was understandably anxious.

Achieving his dream job,

Building an incredible arsenal of skills, and

Marrying the love of his life

Seemed perfect—yet even legendary figures have their flaws. No one is perfect, after all.

@ Hokage's Office

Minato blushed slightly. "Lord Third, Kushina is expecting soon."

Hiruzen chuckled. "Ah, young people these days. That's wonderful news, Minato. But this is a serious matter that concerns the entire village."

Minato's smile faded. "What do you mean?"

Hiruzen's tone turned serious. "When a female Jinchuriki gives birth, the seal containing the tailed beast becomes dangerously weak. At that time, it's possible for anyone to release the Nine-Tails. That's why the delivery must happen in a secure, secret location, just like when Mito-sama gave birth."

Minato fell silent for a moment before nodding. "Understood, Lord Third. I'll make the arrangements."

Hiruzen reassured him. "Don't worry. I'll send Biwako and the best medical staff to oversee Kushina's childbirth."

Minato nodded again. "Thank you."

He returned to his paperwork, focusing on his duties as Hokage despite his growing anxiety.

@ Konoha Central Hospital

Anbu: "We need the best medic in the hospital for a childbirth mission."

Receptionist: "You can visit the hospital for childbirth assistance."

Anbu: "This is an order from Hokage-sama."

Receptionist: "Understood."

The receptionist noted the request and prepared a list of the top medics in the hospital.

Anbu: "We will call for Uchiha Isami."

Receptionist: "Alright."

Anbu: "Ensure she arrives at the Forest of Death at the designated time and date."

Receptionist: "Understood, Anbu-san."

The Anbu flickered away. The receptionist relayed the information to Isami.

As Isami arrived at the secluded spot prepared for Kushina's childbirth, she was met by Biwako Sarutobi, her expression calm yet resolute. The tension in the air was palpable, and Isami could sense the unease even before Biwako spoke.

"Isami," Biwako began, her tone measured but firm, "I appreciate your willingness to assist in Kushina's delivery. However, we've made alternative arrangements."

Isami's brows furrowed in confusion. "Alternative arrangements? I was told I'd be helping. Is there an issue with my skills?"

"No, it's not about your skills," Biwako clarified. "You're one of the most capable medics we have. But… there's concern among the elders and villagers about your Uchiha heritage."

Isami's eyes narrowed slightly, her voice lowering. "Concern about my Sharingan, you mean."

Biwako nodded, her gaze steady but not unkind. "Yes. You know as well as I do how people perceive the Sharingan. They fear its power—its ability to control tailed beasts. It's not about your character, Isami; it's about their fear of what the Sharingan represents. During an event as delicate as Kushina's childbirth, they prefer… less tension."

Isami folded her arms, her frustration evident. "So, because they're scared of what these eyes can do, they'd rather exclude me? Even if it means rejecting the best help they could get?"

Biwako sighed. "It's not fair, I know. And trust me, I argued on your behalf. But this isn't just about ability; it's about maintaining peace of mind. Kushina's delivery requires absolute calm, and unfortunately, that means working around the villagers' apprehensions."

"So, you've brought in someone else," Isami guessed bitterly.

"Yes. We've assigned other medics to assist," Biwako admitted, her voice softening. "I don't doubt your dedication or skill, Isami. This isn't a reflection of your worth—it's a reflection of their ignorance."

For a moment, Isami said nothing, her mind swirling with indignation and hurt. But she was no stranger to the burden of her clan's reputation. Finally, she sighed, her voice calm but tinged with sadness. "I understand. Do what's best for Kushina and the village."

Biwako placed a hand on her shoulder. "Thank you, Isami. Your restraint speaks volumes about the kind of person you are. And I hope someday, they'll see that too."

Isami gave a faint nod, stepping back as Biwako returned to the task at hand. Though excluded, Isami resolved to continue proving her worth—not through confrontation, but through her unwavering dedication to the village.

The villagers are scared by the power of Sharingan.

Sharingan, could do a lot of things that Byakugun could not do,

Sharingan is the most useful Dojutsu for a Shinobi in the entire Shinobi world,

Able to manipulate the flow of time in perception, detect chakra by its color and nature, and unravel the complexities of Ninjutsu, Taijutsu, and Genjutsu with a single glance.

Taijutsu, Ninjutsu, Genjutsu are useless before these eyes.

But there are morons in the Uchiha Clan who does not take it seriously and waste their potential, inevitably fall for the Blade of a 13 year old teenager.

The fated day finally arrived—October 10th—a day destined to be etched into the annals of Konoha's history. The air felt tense, charged with an invisible energy, as if the world itself anticipated the chaos that was about to unfold.

Yagami, ever resourceful and cunning, had prepared for this day in his own way. Knowing the details of what was to come, he executed a daring plan. Using the Transformation Jutsu, he assumed the guise of a Jōnin ninja, adopting Kisame Hoshigaki's distinctive, shark-like features. The unnatural visage made Konoha's citizens uneasy but also distracted them, allowing Yagami to pilfer supplies from the supermarket with ease. The store owner, unable to sense the ruse, let him slip away unnoticed. Yagami's flickering speed ensured that no one could keep up, leaving nothing but confusion in his wake.

As the evening descended, the village grew eerily silent, save for the faint rustling of leaves in the autumn wind. Yet, the stillness was deceiving. The night was heavy, oppressive—not cool and tranquil as one might expect. Instead, it was laden with the malevolence of the Nine-Tails' chakra, a suffocating presence that set every sensor ninja on edge.

The chakra radiating from the beast was unlike anything they had ever encountered. It was immense, overwhelming, and invasive, akin to blowing a horn directly into the ears of someone hypersensitive to sound. Those attuned to chakra flows felt as if their very senses were being assaulted, their minds reeling from the intensity.

The Nine-Tails loomed like a shadow over the village, its power a harbinger of the destruction to come. Yagami, like many others, felt the weight of the moment but remained hidden, watching from the periphery as the chaos began to unfold. The fate of Konoha, and perhaps the entire shinobi world, teetered on the edge of disaster.

Yagami, without any notice, made Kaito, Isami, Izumi come at the entrance of the safe basement gate,

Without warning, Yagami struck Kaito at the base of his neck, knocking him unconscious.

Isami: "What have you done, Yagami? Why did you knock out your own father?"

Yagami ignored her, his fingers suddenly pointing toward the Nine Tails, which had just emerged, its massive form looming in the distance.

Isami: "The Nine Tails?! But I saw the Anbu Black Ops earlier—they secured everything perfectly. How did it break free from the seal?"

Before she could get an answer, a group of Konoha Chunin arrived and began opening the underground chambers to usher civilians to safety.

Yagami thought: "If Fugaku and Mikoto survive the Nine Tails' rampage, why can't my parents?"

After some time,

As Yagami turned to look at Kaito's unconscious body, he froze—it was gone.

Izumi: "father just got up. He's already flickered away to the battlefield."

Yagami clenched his fists. "That foolish father of mine..."

Isami: "You're wrong about him. Your father is strong, Yagami."

Yagami: "The Nine Tails is a disaster even Kages fear. With just Wind Release or sealing techniques, you can't suppress a tailed beast. It takes Kekkei Genkai and the collective effort of many people."

Isami: "What you're saying is true. But isn't hiding a Jonin-ranked shinobi here out of pure selfishness?"

Yagami fell silent, unable to respond. Deep down, he knew it was true—it was his selfishness that drove his actions.

Soon, Baby Sasuke, Itachi, and Shisui joined them at the gate.

After three tense hours, the roar of thunder echoed through the village.

The Nine Tails was sealed once again.
