The pipe of the oxygen cylinder broke.
"Pachi!"
Panicking at the thought of a massive fire, Pachirisu used Thunder Armour and Volt Absorb went on overdrive.
Thankfully, no fire started.
"Pachi!?"
Pachirisu opened his eyes.
And he found himself surrounded by a blue atmosphere.
The entire room's air has turned into blue plasma.
Clemont's voice came, "The charges are balanced!?"
Suddenly, Pachirisu felt like a lightbulb lit up.
If the charges are balanced in his body, wouldn't there be a resistance in absorbing electrons from air?
Volt Absorb gives him electrons, giving him negative charge.
And Thunderbolt or any other electric attack reduces the negative charge, bringing him closer to equilibrium.
Moreover, he doesn't feel any difficulty breathing in the plasma. Perhaps because his body itself is part plasma?
'I understand it now!'
"Pachirisu! Come out!"
He ignored the worried shouts from outside, and stopped the Thunder Armour. Letting the plasma touch his body directly.
As he got the feel, he started trying to adjust the charges within himself.
'I am plasma. I am plasma. I am plasma.
I am Plasmarisu!'
"Plas-maaaa-riiiiiiiii-SUUUUUUUUUUUUU!"
He let out a Thunderbolt, starting small and continuously increasing the power, while simultaneously trying to adjust Volt Absorb.
And then, it happened.
Outside, everyone was worried.
Ash was ready to jump in to save Pachirisu.
But Raichu was holding him back with his tail.
"Raichu! Rai Raichu!"
"Raict! Let me go!"
Perhaps it was his Pokemon intuition, but Raichu felt like Pachirisu knows what he is doing. That interrupting him right now will lead to failure in what he is trying to achieve.
In fact, Raichu has started to admire Pachirisu. He knows what he wants and has very clear thoughts.
Back when he was suddenly evolving, Mega Evolving according to Alain and Professor Sycamore, he was confused.
On one hand, after Evolution from Pikachu, his relationship with Ash hasn't changed and he has grown really stronger.
But on the other hand, he didn't want to evolve. He was confused about what was happening, and if he actually wanted to evolve.
But Pachirisu isn't confused.
"What's happening!?"
Everyone shouted, confused as Pachirisu's body started changing. Covered in blue lightning.
And then, Pachirisu appeared as if he has become lightning.
"No! Pachirisu has turned into plasma!"
Pachirisu opened his eyes.
He could feel the entire room covered in plasma. Sense it as if he is directly touching every point.
He could see more colors than normal. He didn't know what to call them, since he has never seen them before.
He looked at his own body.
His entire body was glowing light blue.
As if he has become Plasma. Really hot plasma.
And he was now floating as well!
"Pachi?"
His voice sounded electric, distorted.
He grinned.
He has achieved a new form!
He is Plasmarisu!
"Plas~ma~ri~su~"
And with him being a stable plasma now, Volt Absorb was deactivated!
And he was floating!
He used his tail to push himself to the ground, and as soon as his feet touched ground, he got grounded.
The charges fizzled into the ground, and he was back to normal form.
Well, not entirely normal. He is more plasma now, he can still see strange colors, and he feels more, gaseous?
"PACHI!?"
Does he have a stomach now!? And brain!? And blood!?
And what if when he is in plasma form, wind breaks his body apart!?
His charges should hold him together, probably. So maybe that's not a thing to worry about?
"Pachirisu! Are you alright!?"
Professor Sycamore's voice came from the other side.
"Pachi!"
He feels really good!
He can now feel his own electrical energy very well.
And that's why, he isn't absorbing electrons from air.
Meaning, his Volt Absorb is now under control!
In his normal form, he is no longer a hazard!
As for Plasmarisu form...
"Pachi Pachi Pachi!"
He laughed evilly.
And his intentions were really pure.
