It took Dudley a moment to explain to his parents why he and Harry and not forget Amelia bones were here instead of at Hogwarts. He carefully avoided mentioning the most dangerous details, if he told them everything, especially about Voldemort, the shock might threaten his mother pregnancy and she might miscarried.

Meanwhile, the situation at Hogwarts had exploded. What had happened the night before was now front-page news in the Daily Prophet. Students and teachers alike were seen reading the paper during breakfast, their faces tense and pale.

"Harry Potter and Dudley Dursley come to help me," Madam Bones later told reporters.

Multiple witnesses confirm that they saw You Know Who failed to kill Madam Bones and ran away after Dumbledore come to help.

Meanwhile, the Ministry has issued a statement of "concern" regarding Potter's use of magic, despite its life-saving nature. Public response has been overwhelming. For some, Potter is a reckless youth. For others, he is once again the hero the wizarding world desperately needs.

In gryffindor table Ron could be seen angry,

At the Gryffindor table, Ron stared angrily at the paper.

"Why did he leave us and do it alone? We're his friends," he muttered.

Harry had left Hogwarts yesterday without a word. Ron and Hermione had searched for him in a panic, unaware that he had already left the castle, let alone that he had gone to fight to defend someone against the Dark Lord.

He hadn't been alone, of course, Dudley had been with him but to Ron, that didn't make it any better. If Harry trusted Dudley enough to go into danger, did he not trust them?

Over at the Slytherin table, several students had gone pale. The paper listed the number of casualties from the attack, and Aurors were still identifying the dead. Some Slytherins feared their own parents might be among Voldemort fallen followers. They rushed to the owlery, sending frantic letters home. Some received relieved replies, while some received none at all.

"Mother, please take care of your health. It is not just your health but also my sibling too," advised Dudley.

This morning Dudley had confessed too Petunia and he made sure to skip important detail such as fighting Voldemort instead he said that this house is safer because it has ward that the Dark Lord can't bypass that is why they returned home.

Amelia who saw the big stomach, clearly knows that Petunia is pregnant understand why Dudley didn't tell all the thing that just happened.

"Aunt make sure to take a rest, I wanted to see my new cousin," added Harry.

"Thank you Harry," replied Dudley smiling.

Vernon nodded, then he said to his son.

"Do you need us to bring you to train," asked Vernon.

"Nope, this time we will teleport directly to Hogwarts," replied Dudley.

"Ok son, good luck in your study," commented Vernon.

It was 7 a.m. Dudley and Harry knew that before returning to Hogwarts, they still had one last obligation: they had to visit the Ministry to finish the aftermath of last night's battle.

They returned to Hogwarts at 8:30 a.m.

---Hogwarts---

The Great Hall was noisy with the sound of breakfast chatter until the doors swung open and Harry Potter walked in.

Suddenly everyone become silent and looked at Harry potter.

Hermione was the first to react. She stood so quickly that she almost stumbled.

"Harry!"

Ron just stared, his eyes wide as confusion, anger, and relief collided in his chest. Then he leapt to his feet.

"You bloody idiot!" Ron shouted as he reached Harry his voice breaking and almost cry. His arms were already around Harry, clinging to him. "We thought.... you were dead, mate!"

Hermione stood beside them, tears streaming down her cheeks.

"You didn't tell us anything," she sobbed. "We were worried sick!"

Harry froze at first, guilt tightening around his heart. Then he slowly looked at them.

"I'm… sorry," he whispered. "Dudley said... no, I'll explain later."

"That's not good enough," Hermione managed through her tears. "We're your friends. You don't face something like that alone."

The Gryffindor student stood up and closed in around them. Angelina, Neville, Dean, Seamu, they all stared at Harry like they were seeing a different person. Not the Boy Who Lived, but the boy who become a hero to save someone else.

Even Professor McGonagall watched from the distance, eyes soft with pride.

Dean finally spoke.

"So it's true," he said quietly. "You faced You-Know-Who again and lived."

Harry nodded. "I didn't do it alone." He glanced toward the Hufflepuff table. Susan Bones was sitting there, looked at Harry wanted to know what the status of her aunt. Dudley has back but because he had something to do, so he return to Hogwarts hall first..

"Next time," Ron muttered, gripping Harry's shoulder tighter, "you take us with you."

"Next time," Harry said softly, "I hope there won't be one."

But deep down, he already knew the truth, Voldemort wasn't finished with him.

The doors opened again.

Dudley stepped inside and made eye contact with Susan. He motioned her over, and she followed him to a quiet corner.

"Dudley, what happened?" Susan asked. "Is the paper telling the truth?"

"Yeah," Dudley said. "Your aunt is safe. We managed to stop the wanky lord before he could kill her."

Susan went quiet then suddenly burst into tears.

"Thank you, Dudley," she whispered.

"You're welcome," Dudley said gently. "She's in Dumbledore's office now. I figured she'd want to see you."
