Rakuten seiyu netsuper restaurant:
Timi and her big brother left home early to buy groceries for Timi's upcoming birthday party. They scanned the shop's shelves, filling a cart with snacks, and headed to the cashier to pay. That's when Sadori realized his little sister wasn't with him—which posed a huge headache. How did he not notice when she slipped away?
"Ugh, where on earth did she go…?" Sadori thought, frantic. He jammed his ATM card into the machine, paid for the groceries, and muttered a curse. The supermarket was huge—it'd be a nightmare to find her.
Hours later, he finally spotted her. But she wasn't alone. Timi stood giggling with an American boy who looked a little older. Sadori froze, speechless. Seeing them chat made him curious—and worried. Was this her boyfriend?! The wrong answer flashed when the boy handed Timi a piece of paper. "Bye. I'll see you in school," he said, waved, and left. Timi was still grinning like she'd swallowed honey.
Sadori approached, twinking his eyes in disbelief. "Sounds like someone's got a secret, huh?" he said, stirring trouble.
Timi blinked, puzzled. "Uh? Who, and why?"
"Don't give me that look. I saw you and that boy whispering, and here you are, swooning. Are you…! dating?" Sadori said, stepping into her space.
Timi glared, still smiling. "Oh, you mean Brian. He's the guy I told you was staring at me the other day, remember? And even if I wanted a boyfriend, it's none of your business, Oni-san."
Sadori's jaw dropped. "You're only twelve! You're not dating!"
A spark of anger flicked in her eyes. "So you were spying on me. Because I got a note, you assumed I had a crush. Rule one: he's not my boyfriend. Rule two: he's helping me with mathes, because I skipped school yesterday. Look."
She shoved the paper at him. Sadori scanned the scribbled equations, felt a wave of shame, and went mute.
"So… what were you saying, Oni-san?" Timi teased.
"Sorry. Can we go now?" Sadori mumbled, avoiding her gaze.
Unknown to him, an enemy watched from the shadows.
"Apologize, Oni-san. For spying and accusing me," Timi growled, arms crossed.
Sadori nodded. Together, they chatted, planning her birthday fun. Then:
"Promise me you'll take me to Sakura-chan's concert in a few weeks," Timi said, eyes sparkling. Sadori grinned, baring his teeth. "Looks like I have no choice. I'll take you."
They reached home. "Mom! Dad, we're back!" Timi squealed, racing through the house like a whirlwind—tomorrow was her big day!
Tojou, fixing his suit, descended the stairs, swooping arms around Fumi in the kitchen. "Mwah!"
"Oh, dear—the kids!" Fumi laughed, dodging the kiss.
"Forgot. Sorry, pumpkin," Tojou said, grabbing wine.
Sadori dropped the bags. "I'm not judging," he muttered.
"Ah, sweet!" Fumi said, unpacking… and frowned. "No pancakes."
"Sadori, sweetie, do you mind going back to (Rakuten seiyu netsuper) to grab some palmcakes okay?" she asked, knowing he'd cave.
"Okay."
Sadori trudged the lonely streets, haunted by missing Amanda's birthday. His instincts screamed: he wasn't alone. An old foe emerged from the woods.
"You…!" Sadori snarled.
"Yes. Don't you miss me, Sadori-kun?" the person sneered.
