Whenever I got close to her, the knee-jerk reaction was for her to teleport. This time, I did things differently. I sent my shadow hounds in before I attacked. It leaped at her from behind during the chaos.
It didn't take much effort for her to evade the shadow hound, but that split second where her eyes weren't on me was all I needed. I grabbed onto her hand; this time, her knee-jerk reaction wasn't to teleport, it was to throw a kick.
I raised my elbow just in time to safeguard myself against the danger of her heel. The impact sent a strong force through my hand, which spoke to her strength, but still, my grip on her wrist remained strong.
Even then, I couldn't shake the feeling that she was enjoying herself.
"Oh, back and forth, it's as if we're dancing," she mused with a smile on her face. "Let's take it somewhere else."
Saying that, she instantly teleported outside the mansion, and since I was holding her hand, I was teleported along with her.
