"We're home!" Nolan, just like a perfect gentleman, helped her out of the car, guided her to the elevator, and opened the door of their apartment for her.
If this had been a real marriage, Emily might think that she had married the ideal husband. But she knew that this was nothing but a game of pretend. Their relationship was only based on a contract that mutually benefited their interests.

"But why does my heart still ache for him?" She silently mumbled, feeling nervous and anxious as butterflies fluttered in her stomach at his nearness.
