Chapter 80 - Location-Based Forgiveness

The moment my feet touched the ground, the cold seeped straight through my boots. It wasn't unpleasant—just overwhelming in the most surreal way.

Snow blanketed everything in sight, pristine and endless, stretching beneath a sky so pale it felt unreal. For a heartbeat, I forgot to breathe.

Everything looked unreal, like a painting brought to life. Before I could fully process it, a man approached us briskly. He was tall, dressed neatly in a dark coat, with blonde hair, and his posture was respectful.

"Mr. Su," he greeted, extending his hand.

Su Ye shook it firmly. "Long time, Evan." Then, without hesitation, he turned slightly toward me. "This is my wife, Tang Xiyu."

I smiled politely. "Hello."

The man's expression softened immediately. "Welcome to Alaska, Mrs. Su. We've been expecting you."

I nodded politely, returning the greeting. "Nice to meet you."

"The car is ready, sir," the man said, stepping aside.

Su Ye turned to me. "Go ahead and get in the car."
