My scream rang out and all the other students gathered around me, each returning from wherever it was they went.
I froze on the spot as they all gathered around me, eyes wide and hands flying to their mouths in shock.
Before long, their phones were out and recording.
In a matter of a few minutes, the area was filled with Sheriffs who had come to inspect the area.
"Miss Hayes." The detective came up to me as I sat at the back of the ambulance with a blue towel wrapped around my arms.
The sound of sirens filled my ears and it made me jump every single time in shock. The horror I had found—Allan's dead body in the most horrifying state.
"Miss." My name was called out again.
I slowly raised my head and my cold eyes landed on the Sheriff who had a friendly smile plastered on his face.
"Do you mind having a conversation?" He asked, his tone polite.
I couldn't obstruct the law by telling him 'No.'
I simply shook my head in response and he caught the signal at once.
