Once again, like the last few weeks, I was running through the forest. My eyes were red and bloody and my heart was beating so fast against my chest. Soon, I felt it start to grow hot on the inside.
My hand flew to my chest. My breathing had stopped and wheezed to try to get air into my lungs but my efforts were proving futile. I could also feel my fingertips aching, like the skin around it was going to rip open.
I fell on the ground but when I turned to the side, I saw that I had fallen next to a lifeless body. My eyes widened and my breath caught in my throat.
I sat up abruptly, breathing hard. I touched my body to see that I was covered in mud. I wasn't in my room or on my bed. I was there the night when I slept off.
I looked to the side and my hand flew to my mouth. My insides turned. I almost gagged at the sight of blood beside me. I immediately shifted to the side, my chest bearing fast and hard against my chest.
