The night before leaving, Alex stayed for an intimate dinner with her family.
The whole evening, Gabe was gloomy and unhappy.
"Gabe, you're officially in 12th grade now. Don't neglect your studies. Remember to call me once a week. I'll try to come back to New York once a month."
Emma gently reminded, but Gabe was still not very enthusiastic.
Penelope was unhappy, pinching her son: "Your sister and I were talking to you, but you kept putting on that gloomy face."
Gabe pouted indignantly, sneaking a glance at the man opposite.
It was all his fault. He was the one who took his sister away, and even planned to send her thousands of miles to Washington.
For the two sisters, this was the first time they had to face a real separation.
