Why did he have to be on a business trip now? Why wasn't Daniel here?
When Lucy's maternal grandparents arrived, she ran into their arms.
"Grandpa, Grandma, finally you're here."
They were old. Seeing their granddaughter in that condition, their eyes welled up with tears.
"How did it come to this? Your mother just left our house and now..."
Lucy fell into her cousin's embrace.
"Brother..."
Wesley gently patted her back.
"Sorry, we're late. Lucy, don't be afraid. Leave the rest to us."
Lucy didn't understand what "the rest" meant, but she nodded unconsciously.
Wesley tried his best to stay calm. In situations like this, with his grandmother elderly and his pregnant younger cousin unable to help, he had to take charge.
He quickly coordinated with his younger brother to prepare the mourning hall for his second uncle and arrange for the body to be taken home. As for his second aunt, he asked the butler to help take care of her.
