Still class C huh?
Well, not that Ihe did not expect it.
Afterall, he still got into plenty of fights despite getting reincarnated and being bigger than the kids mentally.
After falling from the 8th floor, he got reincarnated into the world of Classroom of the Elite, COTE in short, as Ryuen Kakeru.
At first, he had decided to just chill, invest in Bitcoin and Nvidia, and live a relaxed life.
Well, he did invest in some of those stocks, using all the money he earned from part-time jobs and writing.
He had tried singing, since he has the voice of a voice actor.
But he got cancelled because someone found his identity and leaked it. And the world came to know about the fights he got into.
He didn't intend to get into any fights.
But his neighbourhood was pretty bad. Delinquents all around.
After he got beaten up and got his poket money stolen once, he realised that the only way to survive in that environment without getting beaten up and getting his shit stolen is to rise on the top of the delinquent environment of the town.
So he pretty much became like the Ryuen of the story. But far less cruel and arrogant.
He did pretty good on the National High School Admission Test which is the way for admission into ANHS. The results aren't revealed, but he felt like he scored around 75-80%.
He still got Class C. All sorts of delinquents do end up in Class C afterall.
Well, atleast it's not D. That class have more people with potential, but they wouldn't follow orders very well.
He entered the class, and found his seat by the window. The last seat.
The protagonist's seat.
"Kukuku!"
"Man, you have a weird laugh!"
He looked at the guy sitting in the front.
"Your name?"
"Ishizaki Daichi! You?"
"Ryuen Kakeru. You sure have a really forgettable face."
"What did you say!?"
Ishizaki got triggered, and threw a punch at Ryuen.
Ryuen got hit on the stomach. He didn't do anything but release his breath beforehand so that it wouldn't hurt.
Ryuen didn't even flinch at the slight pain.
"Alright. You are getting expelled for hitting me."
"W-what?"
"Are you dumb? You think that this is a normal school, where such behaviour will just lead to standing out of class?
You will get expelled."
"Haah!? What did you say!?"
Ishizaki got scared by the mention of expulsion. He didn't fight further, but he wasn't backing off.
Just then, the homeroom teacher entered the class. He surprisingly ignored the commotion and started introducing himself.
"I am Sakagami Kazuma, your homeroom teacher. I will also be teaching you Mathematics. Bla bla bla—"
He gave everyone their phones and ID Cards.
Then proceeded to tell the class about the S-system, which is everyone getting points that can be used as money to buy anything, with 1 point being equal to 1 yen. And this month they got 100,000 points.
Everyone cheered.
"And at this school, bullying and extortion is strictly prohibited. Engaging in such acts can lead to expulsion."
What a joke.
But Ryuen smirked and raised his hand.
Ishizaki, afraid that Ryuen is going to rattle on him, whispered.
He was begging.
"Ryuen-san, can't you let this go? Please?"
Ryuen didn't even look at him as Sakagami gestured him to ask what he wants to ask.
"Can I begin the introductions?"
Sakagami was disappointed. He thought that Ryuen had figured out something about the S-system and wanted to ask questions about that.
"Alright. Let's do that."
Ryuen didn't stay on his seat but went to the front nonchalantly.
"Yo. Name's Ryuen Kakeru.
From now on, I am your leader. And I don't want any of you to speak anything that goes in the class and Class C without my explicit permission.
And everyone must follow my orders.
You near the front door, introduce—"
Ibuki shouted, "Haah!? Who the hell are you to call yourself the leader and order us around!?"
A guy also said, "Yeah! We didn't vote for you!"
"Hmm, you do raise a good point. What's your name?"
"Tokito Hiroya."
"Right, Tikito. You do raise a good point. So, how about this? Next week, we will hold an election. You are free to challenge me.
But... only elections wouldn't be enough, would it? How about this? We will have a debate before the voting. On the S-system.
Both of us will find out more about it in a week and present our findings then."
"Fine by me."
"Alright. Everyone is welcome to participate. Just know that anyone who spreads it will automatically be disqualified from voting as well.
We don't want any sort of power to fall into the hands of a traitor, do we?"
Saying all that, he smiled as everyone started introducing themselves.
He even made a group chat with himself as the admin and had everyone scan the QR code to join and tell their names.
Ryuen remembered their their faces and names, and will save the numbers after the day.
Ryuen seemed really helpful and leader-like today. A bit rough, but gentle as well.
And he especially smiled at Ishizaki. Who was relieved that he didn't speak about the punching to Sakagami-sensei.
After the introductions finished, it was time for going to the orientation.
Ishizaki smiled and said, "Sorry about that. And thank you for not ratting me out!"
Ryuen just smirked and pointed at the camera.
He got nervous.
"Ahahaha... They won't check the cameras, will they?"
"Of course they will. Especially when I tell them about it."
"What!?"
"If you don't want me to complain about you, meet me at a place I will tell you later."
With those words, he didn't wait to listen to Ishizaki's response and walked away.
But he hadn't gone to the orientation.
He clicked the photos of the seating arrangement of the other classes, went to the dorms and got his room, 305.
And after freshening up, he went to the convenience store.
After wasting time on his phone for around two hours, surprised that it has a stalking feature for mutual friends.
Anyway, when he saw his target approaching the convenience store, he put his phone on recording and put it in his back pocket, pretending to look for some things in the cabinet.
Is coffee better or green tea?
Soon, Kamuro Masumi entered the store.
She looked around near the alcohol section, and when she found that there was no camera pointed that way, and no one was looking at her, she swiped a beer can into her bag and continued shopping.
Sakayanagi had seen her because she was too small to be noticed by Kamuro. And though Ryuen didn't see her directly, he has gotten the blackmail material.
After a while, after both of them had left, Ryuen was also about to leave with coffee and essentials.
But then he saw Sudo sitting near front of the store with Ayanokoji and eating cup noodles.
Oh. He had nearly forgotten about it.
Time to get a lot of points.
But just as he had thought that, he blinked and found himself in a strange place.
He was sitting on a round table in a strange room, with seven other equally confused people.
Some of whom he recognised.
