Chapter 57 - Great Ape Razor:

The battlefield was silent.

Only the crackling of flames and the distant echo of dying warriors filled the air.

Razor lay motionless inside the crater — body broken, eyes barely open half, breath shallow. The night sky above him shimmered with smoke and fire, explosions blooming like dying stars.

Each burst of light painted his bloodied face in shades of red and gold.

He could hear the now distant footsteps — slow, heavy, deliberate. Cumber…

That monster was walking away. Victorious. Untouched.

Razor's mind felt heavy, his thoughts fading. Even his heartbeat sounded far away — just a faint thump inside his chest.

So this was it. The end of the cold, ruthless warrior who defied monsters and enemies alike.

A faint smirk crept across his lips. Heh… fireworks, huh?

Above him, the sky exploded again — a dazzling display of ki blasts and flames. In that dying moment, it looked beautiful.

What a sight… to die under… although to soon to die... without even meeting them again.

But then — the smoke drifted with the wind.

A faint silver light cut through the clouds.

And there it was. The full moon.

It hung high and proud — a perfect circle of light piercing through the carnage below.

Razor's pupils widened.

His heart skipped. Then beat again — harder this time. Louder. Thump.Thump.Thump!

The sound echoed through his chest, fast and violent.

He could feel something inside him… stirring. That savage instinct, raw fury buried deep within.

The beast was waking.

"Forget it…" Razor whispered weakly, though his voice barely left his throat.

His vision blurred. His hands trembled. His nails lengthened into claws. His breathing grew harsh, ragged.

Let it unleash its fury...

The Saiyan's blood screamed louder.

His spine cracked. His bones twisted. Razor's back arched violently as a surge of energy exploded from within him.

A snout began to form, his teeth sharpened into fangs. His muscles bulged grotesquely as a torrent of crimson fur erupted across his body.

And then—

The ground shook as his body expanded, towering higher and higher until it blotted out the moonlight itself.

With a thunderous roar that split the sky, Razor transformed into a Great Ape — but unlike any seen before.

His fur burned red like molten lava. His eyes were pure white, devoid of pupils — empty, unfeeling.

He was no longer Razor. He was the beast that had slept inside him for years waiting to unleash its wrath.

Across the battlefield, everyone stopped.

Even the roaring Golden Great Apes froze mid-battle as the new presence made the ground tremble.

A monstrous aura engulfed the land — violent, suffocating, pure rage.

"W-What is that!?" one soldier screamed, staring at the massive silhouette through the smoke.

Another stopped mid battle, voice trembling. "It's… him… that's Razor!"

The Saiyans on Razor's side felt it too — a mix of awe and terror.

Meanwhile, the radicals fell silent, their gazes slowly shifting toward the crimson-furred behemoth.

At the far end, Cumber stopped walking.

He turned slowly, his expression calm — at first. Then his grin faded.

Before him stood the red-furred Great Ape, easily twice the size of any other ape on the field. The earth cracked under its weight.

Its roar shook mountains.

"…What in the hell…" Cumber muttered.

The beast pounded its chest, each slam echoing like thunder. Its tail whipped behind it, carving trenches through the ground.

A dark, swirling energy began to gather around it — a crimson-black aura, vile and dense. The same evil ki that once scarred Cumber's own soul now radiated from this creature.

The Great Ape tilted its head up and bellowed, a sound so loud it silenced everything else.

And then… it moved.

The battlefield descended into madness.

The red ape charged — not toward Cumber, but into the thick of the enemy ranks. Its steps created shockwaves, throwing soldiers into the air like leaves in a storm.

Cumber blinked. "He's… ignoring me? No he charged towards the most concentrated part of the battlefield."

For the first time in years, he was speechless.

He had expected the beast to lunge for him — to challenge him, to devour him. But instead, it ran wild across the enemy lines, slaughtering everything in its path.

The Great Ape grabbed two golden-furred apes by the head and smashed them together like pebbles. Blood splattered across its fur.

Another tried to tackle it from behind — but the beast barely flinched. He turned, grabbing the ape's arm and tearing it off with one swift motion.

The scream that followed was cut short when the red ape stomped its foot, crushing the attacker into paste.

Cumber couldn't help but laugh. "So, that's your true nature, huh? The one you try to suppress. A beast through and through."

The red ape unleashed wild madness. It swung its arm, launching a massive golden ape hundreds of meters away.

Dozens of enemies tried to swarm it at once, surrounding it from every side — Super Saiyan 4 Limit Breakers, Golden Apes, elites.

But none of it mattered.

With every roar, its aura grew thicker. Energy rising with each passing moment. Each movement stronger. Each breath like a storm.

Cumber watched as it crushed enemies like insects. The ape grabbed three attackers at once and slammed them into the dirt. With its tail, it swatted two more out of the sky.

The battlefield became a storm of red light and screams.

"Stay away from it!" shouted one of Razor's allies, backing off. "That thing's lost all control!"

"But it's killing the enemies!" another yelled.

"And us next if we're not careful and get close!"

The Saiyans on Razor's side took to the sky, keeping their distance as the beast rampaged freely.

Then came the roar.

A deep, primal sound that shook the planet.

The Great Ape tilted its head back, mouth glowing with energy. A ball of crimson light began forming between its fangs — growing larger, brighter, unstable.

Cumber's eyes narrowed. "Oh, this will be good."

The crimson orb pulsed violently — and then fired.

A massive beam of destructive energy erupted from the ape's mouth, slicing through the battlefield like a blade.

Hundreds of golden apes and elite warriors were vaporized instantly. The explosion shook the entire valley, turning half the battlefield into molten lava.

When the smoke cleared, there was silence again. Only the Great Ape remained standing, chest heaving, eyes glowing white. Then it pounded its chest again.

Cumber smirked. "You're magnificent…"

He could feel it now — the raw power, the chaos, the fury. It was intoxicating.

But more than that, it was a challenge.

For the first time in ages, Cumber's blood burned. His Saiyan instincts screamed at him to fight.

He clenched his fists, feeling the Evil Ki flare around him. "Don't forget about me Razor. Let me join the fight."

In the distance, the red-furred Great Ape continued its rampage — every roar shaking the night sky, every step spreading destruction.

And above it all, the moon shone down — cold, silver, and unblinking — watching silently as a new monster was born.
