If it wasn't for them seeing it for themselves, no one would have believed that Baek Haemin healed somebody who had no relation to him.
Lee Soomin's arm, the one she was trying to hide away from her team after a basan got her from behind when they started going berserk, instantly got healed.
There are very few other A-Rank support hunters whom one could hire in the Blackmane Guild, and even for them, it'd take at least an hour or so to heal an injury that big.
Soomin caressed her healed arm.
Amazing. Is this why they say he's the best support in the country? I always thought it's an exaggeration, though. He almost never heals anyone, and he gets grumpy inside dungeons…
Only a select few had seen him use his skills, but everyone had heard of his nasty behavior. They labeled Baek Haemin as the best support hunter, but no one actually acknowledged him.
A personality so rotten that his scandals overshadowed his skills… Why in the world is he hiding this kind of skill all this time?
She glanced at her team. It wasn't just her, but everyone else was astonished at Baek Haemin's skill.
Baek Haemin's eyes shone as he saw the light vanish from his hands.
Whoa, are you serious? It's done just like that? Is this normal? Isn't this kind of skill a cheat? I know that the female lead in the novel has a healing skill too, but was she this good? Or is this just how healing works in this world?
Since he didn't know how healing normally works, he couldn't help but scratch his cheek. Haemin decided to just treat it as usual.
Well, I did read that this guy is the best support so isn't this a given? Yeah, let's heal them all and get some rest.
Haemin lifted his head.
"Alright, who's next?"
The Blue Dragon hunters glanced at each other. Their expressions went from shock to skepticism.
It's true that their teammate was healed, but would he really continue to do the same for the next one?
Just as their hesitation kept them from moving, Han Jiwon stepped forward.
"What are you doing? Don't make Haemin-nim wait any longer. All of you should be honored that Haemin-nim is even offering to heal you. He doesn't heal just anyone, you know?"
Ack!
Haemin quickly pulled her away, and whispered.
"Hold on, what are you saying, you idiot?! That's embarrassing, stop it!"
"What do you mean, young master? It's not like I lied to–"
"Shh!"
He covered her mouth before she could even finish her sentence.
Ryu Jinmu remained seated without saying anything while the other hunters nodded at each other after discussing among themselves.
A tall man approached Baek Haemin.
"Then, I'll go next. My name is Park Hanwoo, I'm Blue Dragon Team 2's captain."
He reached his hand out, but his eyes were narrowed heavily as if scrutinizing him. Baek Haemin was surprised. This is the first time someone from this team took an initiative to introduce themselves to him.
This made him smile and accept the handshake.
"Nice to meet you, captain. I'm Baek Haemin. I'm in your care for the remaining time in this dungeon."
Baek Haemin activated the healing hand skill through the system and light once again came out of his hands.
This time, it covered not just the hunter's arm but also his whole body.
"This is…"
Park Hanwoo uttered as he felt the warm sensation coming from Baek Haemin.
The stabbing pain from the injury he got from the basan's claw earlier vanished as if it were never there to begin with.
He was stunned at how powerful Baek Haemin's healing was.
It didn't take long until the light dimmed out and Haemin opened his eyes. He peeked at Park Hanwoo.
Did it work?
Haemin gasped as the captain grabbed his arm.
"What, what's wrong?"
Did it not work? What, is he mad? System-nim, did something go wrong?
Ding!

Oh, you're right. Then, why is he looking at me like that?
Park Hanwoo opened his mouth.
"Pfft. Ha ha!"
Everyone flinched at the sound of him laughing out loud. They have never seen him act like this before.
Even the newbie porter, Kang Minho, seemed dumbfounded. No one knew why the captain would laugh like that.
Park Hanwoo wiped a tear from the corner of his eye and shook Haemin's hand.
"Aren't you supposed to be a grumpy brat who doesn't like to work? Why are you acting amicable today, huh? Ha ha! Making me laugh like this…"
That's what made you laugh?
Haemin gently pushed his hand away from him and laughed meekly.
"I'm just doing my job, captain…"
Park Hanwoo chuckled.
"Just doing your job, you say? Saying things out of character… ha ha! Sure, if that's what would make you move. Thanks, Baek Haemin."
He patted Haemin's shoulder twice and made space for the next hunter.
Haemin, who wasn't sure if he was being made fun of, only smiled with his eyes closed.
Of course I have to act differently. Because I don't want to die.
The healing session went smoothly afterwards. After their captain showed his approval of Baek Haemin, the other members of the team felt more at ease to receive his healing.
Baek Haemin healed them perfectly one by one with no mistakes, thanks to the system's help.

Night time came to the A-Rank dungeon and the hunters laid down on their bed. Some would stay out while the others would rest.
Haemin got his own tent set up by Han Jiwon, leaving him with more privacy than others. However, he had no intention to sleep just yet.
Zzzzip.
He opened the tent slowly and peeked outside. The others were resting well and the hunters on watch were drinking their coffee, busy chatting away.
Mmh, clear.
Haemin nodded to himself and silently walked away from the camp.
