"Wan'er, I'm going out," Kaoru said to Wan'er, who was still feasting.
"Okay, brother, go ahead," Wan'er said, completely lost in the food.
"Sigh," Kaoru sighed. What kind of sister was this? She forgot him as soon as she saw food. After sighing, Kaoru walked out of the dining room with Uzuki Yūgao.
Hina, curious about her cousin's intentions, followed.
Ino and Sakura, seeing Kaoru leave, dropped their pretense and began to eat heartily.
Only Hinata watched Kaoru's back and quietly followed.
Yūgao led Kaoru to a clearing.
The large space was filled with training equipment: targets, sandbags, and plum blossom poles.
"What is this?" Hinata wondered.
"Our family's training ground," Hina explained, then turned to Yūgao. "Yūgao-neechan, why did you bring Kaoru here?"
"Isn't it obvious?" Kaoru shrugged. "Your cousin wants to test my skills."
"Exactly! You're pretty smart," Yūgao said, giving Kaoru a thumbs up. "So, are you up for the challenge?"
"Yūgao-neechan, maybe you should reconsider. Kaoru just got out of the hospital. I'm worried his injuries haven't healed..." Hina said, trying to stop her.
"Is that so?" Yūgao raised an eyebrow. "In that case, we'll have to postpone it."
"It's fine," Kaoru said, smiling. "My injuries have healed. If Yūgao-neechan wants to, I don't mind giving it a try."
"Is that so? Admirable courage," Yūgao said, her expression brightening. "Then let's begin!"
"Okay!" Kaoru nodded and entered the training ground.
Yūgao followed closely behind.
"Really, why are they fighting for no reason?" Hinata muttered.
Hina was equally confused. She couldn't understand her cousin's intentions.
The two stood facing each other in the center of the training ground.
"I won't hold back," Yūgao said softly, drawing her katana.
"Likewise," Kaoru said, activating his Sharingan.
"Combat Stance!" Kaoru focused, and Yūgao's health and chakra bars appeared.
"1100 health, 700 chakra. Slightly weaker than Kurenai Yuhi. Wait, what's that number on the left?"
He noticed a "lv9" next to the health and chakra bars. He'd been too focused on the bars to notice it before.
"Lv9, level nine?" Kaoru realized. It seemed the number indicated her level. Compared to the level cap of 18 in LoL, Yūgao's level wasn't that high.
But considering the powerful characters to come, it wasn't surprising.
"What are you spacing out for, kid? Since you won't attack first, I will!" Yūgao said, lowering her sword and charging at Kaoru.
"Konoha-ryu, Dance of the Moon!"
Yūgao cried, appearing before Kaoru in an instant, creating several afterimages. Her katana slashed upwards.
Kaoru didn't dare to underestimate her. The afterimages blurred together, making it seem like six or seven blades were attacking at once. It was impossible to tell which was real.
"Her Dance of the Moon is much better than Hina's," Kaoru thought.
A normal genin would be defeated by this move, but Kaoru was different.
"Judgment!" Facing Yūgao, Kaoru activated his hero skill.
The Storm Sword appeared around him, spinning rapidly and creating a gust of wind.
If she wanted to confuse him with afterimages, he'd destroy them all!
"What kind of swordsmanship is this!"
Yūgao's face changed. She slowed down. The spinning sword protected Kaoru, leaving no opening for attack.
Yūgao stopped, but Kaoru attacked, lunging forward.
"Sneaky!" Yūgao grunted, forced to block with her katana. The weapons clashed, creating sparks and a ringing sound.
"It's not over yet," Kaoru said, making hand seals. "Fire Release, Great Fireball Technique!"
"Crap!" Yūgao cursed. Kaoru was only three meters away. Being so close to a fire jutsu was dangerous.
She released her katana, pushed off the ground, and flipped backwards, barely dodging the fireball.
"Such strange ninjutsu is hard to defend against. This kid..." Yūgao quickly created distance. Her katana was sent flying by the Storm Sword.
"Press the attack!" Seeing Yūgao retreat, Kaoru followed. But Yūgao stretched her right arm behind her.
"Huh?" Kaoru's Sharingan caught the detail.
"I see," Kaoru realized. He flicked his wrist, launching several shuriken that struck Yūgao's katana, which was flying towards him!
"He saw through my attack!" Yūgao was shocked.
"He saw through my attack!" Yūgao was shocked. She'd used herself as bait, secretly controlling her katana with chakra threads to attack Kaoru.
But he'd seen through it and knocked the katana away with shuriken.
"Yūgao-neechan, now you don't have a weapon," Kaoru said, smiling.
"You're not one to underestimate," Yūgao said, a smile playing on her lips. She leaned forward, her chest becoming more visible.
"Why are you calling me 'neechan' like Hina? Are you two involved?" Yūgao asked suggestively.
Kaoru was speechless. He'd just said it out of habit. This woman had a wild imagination.
Unintentional words caused a reaction. Hina became flustered.
"Cousin, don't say such things..." she protested, stuttering. Hinata, not as mature as Wan'er, was completely confused.
"Are we continuing?" Kaoru asked, changing the subject.
