"Bang!" The whirlwind of flames hit the River King, kicking up a lot of dust. Through the smoke, the River King stood firm, without moving.
"Kill that kid!" The first Leaf Village ninja's Fire Style didn't work, and the other ninja still jumped forward with his katana.
"Whoosh!" At that moment, a slimy, pink giant snake shot out of the smoke!
The snake crashed into the Leaf Village ninja who was about to attack, sending him flying. The snake slid several meters and slammed into a tree.
The Leaf Village ninja was stuck in the tree trunk, his limbs twisted. It looked like his bones were shattered.
He looked like a puppet, with a big hole in the middle of his body, made by the snake.
"I-instant kill?! What a joke..." Tanuki Shigaraki was shocked. An elite Chunin was killed in one hit!
"Swish, swish..." The pink snake slowly retracted after piercing the Leaf Village ninja's body. The smoke around the River King slowly cleared.
The River King wasn't hurt. Tanuki Shigaraki realized that the "snake" was just the River King's tongue.
"Damn it, this is beyond what I can handle alone," Tanuki Shigaraki muttered, taking a step back.
Danzo's order was a mistake. This Uchiha kid couldn't be defeated by two elite Chunin and a special Jonin. Even with two more elite Chunin, it wouldn't matter...
"Kill that kid..." Even though one Leaf Village ninja was killed, the other kept repeating the same words, making hand seals to cast another jutsu.
"Now's the chance, run!" Seeing the Leaf Village ninja about to attack, Tanuki Shigaraki took the opportunity to run away, using all his chakra to escape.
"Trying to run!" Kaoru stared at Tanuki Shigaraki and chased after him. The other Leaf Village ninja hadn't finished his hand seals.
The River King's tongue shot out and grabbed him, swallowing him like a frog catching a bug.
It was so fast that Tanuki Shigaraki didn't even see it. He just saw something shoot out and disappear, and the Leaf Village ninja was gone.
Kaoru put the Leaf Village ninja in the River King's mouth. He didn't plan to kill him yet. He had to find out who was controlling him first.
"Run, run, run!" Tanuki Shigaraki could only think of running. He used every escape jutsu he knew, running like a rabbit.
"Forget the Chunin Exams, forget turning in the scroll at the Central Tower!" Tanuki Shigaraki thought.
He ran towards the edge of the Forest of Death. If he could get out, the Chunin Exam proctors would see him and stop Kaoru's rampage. He could live and report to Danzo!
"Faster, faster!" Tanuki Shigaraki thought. He passed some Genin teams, but they were afraid of his fierce look and didn't attack him.
Kaoru chased after him. He was determined to kill Tanuki Shigaraki. No one could stop him.
"There's a lone kid!"
"Let's steal his scroll!" A Genin team saw Kaoru and wanted to attack him.
"I don't have time to play with you!" Kaoru glanced at them with his Sharingan, locking onto their location.
He quickly threw three All-Purpose Cards. The cards shot out like light, hitting each Genin in the head. Big red numbers appeared, each a critical hit, killing them instantly.
Kaoru didn't even look at their bodies, passing by them.
"Almost there!" Tanuki Shigaraki was close to the edge of the Forest of Death.
"After I escape, I'll ask Danzo to never let me see that Uchiha kid again. He's a demon!" Tanuki Shigaraki thought. He was terrified of Kaoru.
Before he could celebrate, Kaoru appeared behind him.
"Damn it! He caught up so fast!" Tanuki Shigaraki was scared out of his mind. He didn't expect Kaoru to be so fast.
"Wait!" Tanuki Shigaraki had an idea. He looked back and was happy: "Great, great! That Uchiha kid is alone. He doesn't have his summoning beast. Without the summoning beast, I might have a chance! Even if I can't beat him, he can't kill me quickly. I'll stall him while running away. I should be able to escape the Forest of Death!"
Tanuki Shigaraki felt confident. He made hand seals while running, turning to face Kaoru.
"Fire Style: Shattered Fire Technique!" Tanuki Shigaraki spat out dozens of fireballs. The fireballs weren't aimed at Kaoru, but at the trees around him and in front of him.
The roads in the Forest of Death were narrow, and there were many trees.
Tanuki Shigaraki planned to set the trees around Kaoru on fire, blocking his path and maybe killing him.
It worked. Using Fire Style in the forest was dangerous. It could cause a forest fire. The trees around Kaoru were on fire, creating smoke and blocking his vision. Some trees were burned down, blocking the road.
"Great, I blocked that kid!" Tanuki Shigaraki looked back and saw smoke and fire. Kaoru hadn't appeared yet. He felt relieved.
Tanuki Shigaraki saw the edge of the Forest of Death.
Kaoru frowned at the burning trees blocking the road.
He wouldn't let Tanuki Shigaraki get away. He was going to use his ultimate move.
"I won't let you go..." Kaoru's eyes flashed coldly. His Sharingan, reflecting the flames, turned into a Three-Tomoe Sharingan!
With the Three-Tomoe Sharingan, Kaoru's vision was clearer. He could see everything in front of him.
"So this is the Three-Tomoe Sharingan. It's much clearer..." Kaoru said, looking ahead.
"Since you want to run, I'll destroy everything in front of you! S-Rank Hero Ninjutsu: Justice Blade!" Kaoru's Three-Tomoe Sharingan spun quickly, and he activated Garen's ultimate move!
"Rumble!" As Kaoru thought this, the sky in the Forest of Death began to change. Clouds broke apart and lightning flashed, quickly forming a giant vortex!
It looked like a god was angry!
"What's going on...?" The Genin in the Forest of Death looked at the sky in fear.
"What the hell..." Deidara stared at the clouds, his eyes filled with fascination: "This, this is art..."
Mirai, in another part of the Forest of Death, looked at the sky in shock.
The Genin stopped fighting and looked up at the strange sky.
"Amazing... what kind of ninjutsu is that!" Uchiha Obito, disguised as the Kirigakure Genin "Kuro", was surprised. He knew that the sky's change was caused by the Uchiha kid!
"This doomsday-like scene..." Uchiha Obito muttered.
