Chapter 325 - Chapter 325: Tights — I Was the One Who Gave Him the Capsule

Time passed quickly. In the blink of an eye, two days had gone by.

Inside Bulma's estate, Gran lay back on a beach chair, eyes half-closed in leisure. Suddenly, a "faint" aura drifted over from the direction of the Heavenly Realm.

"Three million battle power…"

Gran opened his eyes, muttering under his breath.

In just two months, Piccolo had increased his power by 200,000. And now, within two years, he had reached three million.

Without assimilating with Nail, and without reuniting with Kami… his potential was still far too limited.

"Gran, you've been busy these past two months just for that guy?" Beerus lounged on a chair beside him, taking a sip of his drink as he glanced over.

"I don't feel like answering that," Gran replied flatly, rolling his eyes.

"Tch. Acting all mysterious, huh? If you're going to nurture trash like that, you might as well train Son Goku's kid instead," Beerus sneered.

"Lord Beerus, same as always—if you don't speak, no one will mistake you for mute."

"You brat, watch your mouth. Or do you really think you've grown strong enough to challenge me?" Beerus rose from his chair.

"Why don't you try and find out?"

Gran stood as well. Their eyes locked, and in an instant, a fierce battle intent erupted between them. The air itself seemed ready to ignite.

"Gran, what are you two doing?! Why are you fighting all of a sudden?!"

Bulma rushed in between them, pushing at both with all her strength. Yet no matter how hard she tried, neither of them budged even an inch.

Tights stood nearby, her heart pounding wildly at the sight.

Her little sister really had nerves of steel… daring to push around beings like them.

"Whis, aren't you going to stop them?" Bulma called out desperately.

"This is simply how they communicate," Whis said calmly, seated at another table as he enjoyed a pudding. "Why interfere?"

Seeing that Whis wasn't moving at all—and that Gran and Beerus were about to clash—Bulma hurriedly shouted:

"Gran! When exactly are Vegeta and the others going to invade Earth?!"

The moment those words fell—

Gran lifted his head and sensed their energy.

"They'll arrive tomorrow."

Beerus casually slung an arm around Gran's shoulder, a grin forming on his lips.

"After being bored for so long… finally, something interesting to watch."

Just a moment ago, they were on the verge of fighting—now they were acting like old friends. The sudden shift left Bulma completely stunned.

"You're the strongest God of Destruction, and you're actually interested in something like this? It's basically children playing in the dirt," Gran said, glancing sideways.

"They may be weak now, but their potential isn't," Beerus replied with a chuckle. "Their future achievements won't be low. Watching them fight… that's still entertaining."

He smirked.

"Aren't you interested too? Otherwise, why would you go out of your way to train that Namekian?"

Gran didn't answer—because it was true.

He was interested in this battle.

"Let's say—just hypothetically—that Vegeta survives this invasion. What would you do then?" Beerus asked teasingly.

Gran clicked his tongue.

"What else is there to do? He's run wild long enough. Of course I'd kill him."

His words echoed through the courtyard.

Bulma and Whis showed no reaction—but Tights' heart skipped a beat.

"Sister… what's wrong?" Bulma asked, noticing her expression.

"Hm?"

Gran's gaze shifted toward Tights.

He remembered clearly—about a year ago, when Vegeta led Raditz and the others to attack Frieza's headquarters.

Because of Beerus's order forbidding harm to the Saiyans, Frieza didn't dare kill them outright. Instead, he kicked them into outer space.

Saiyans couldn't survive in the vacuum of space.

By all logic, they should have died.

Yet somehow, they survived—thanks to a capsule.

And that capsule… had come from Tights.

"Lord Gran… could you not kill Vegeta?" Tights asked carefully. "I don't think he's a bad person."

"Sister, have you lost your mind?!" Bulma broke out in a cold sweat. "Who Gran chooses to kill isn't something we can interfere with! Don't speak carelessly!"

Bulma had never liked Vegeta to begin with—especially after seeing the future timeline, where that version of Vegeta had been utterly ruthless.

That only made her dislike him more.

She couldn't understand why her sister would say something like this.

"He robbed you of that capsule, didn't he? And you're still speaking up for him?" Gran narrowed his eyes.

The moment he spoke, the surrounding temperature seemed to plummet below freezing. Both sisters couldn't help but shiver.

"Gran, I apologize on behalf of my sister," Bulma pleaded, her voice trembling. "Please, be magnanimous and don't hold it against her…"

Gran ignored her.

Beerus and Whis remained silent, watching the unfolding scene with interest.

"No… that capsule wasn't stolen," Tights said, forcing herself to endure the fear. "I gave it to him."

"When I was returning to Earth from space, I ran into Frieza's forces. Vegeta saved me… so I gave him a capsule as thanks."

"…Hm?"

Gran was taken aback.

Was that really the case?

He glanced at Whis.

With a casual motion, Whis summoned the scene. After reviewing everything, even Gran looked surprised.

Vegeta had truly saved Tights.

Not only that—after receiving the capsule, he hadn't gone on to kill or loot anyone.

This Vegeta…

He hadn't even gone through the Android Saga yet—and he'd already begun to change?

"Lord Gran… I really don't think Vegeta is a bad person," Tights said again, cautiously.

"Sister!!"

Bulma stomped her foot in frustration.

Then, suddenly—

"Alright," Gran said lightly. "I can spare him."

Silence.

The entire courtyard fell deathly still.

Even Whis and Beerus widened their eyes in surprise.

"I can spare him," Gran continued, a faint smile curling at his lips. "But on one condition—"

"He must kneel before me and beg for mercy."
