He grabbed a handful of seeds and threw them out. Giant vines emerged from the ground, attacking General Hanlu Turtle.
But the black light on General Hanlu Turtle's body didn't disappear. The turtle shell-shaped black light protected his body, and the attacking vines were immediately corroded upon contact with the light.
Droy swayed, the excessive consumption of magic making him feel dizzy, almost unable to stand, but he gritted his teeth and cast magic again.
One by one, pale red seeds flew from his hands, quickly growing into giant carnivorous plants upon landing. These carnivorous plants had red flower buds at their tops, with sharp white teeth inside the buds, opening their gaping maws to bite General Hanlu Turtle.
These were carnivorous plant seeds Droy had bought from a magic item shop. They were magical plants, possessing considerable damage on their own, and even more astonishing with the addition of magic, making them his ultimate trump card.
However, General Hanlu Turtle sneered, the single horn on his head glowing with black light. A spherical wave of water-like light spread out, crushing the attacking carnivorous plants into powder.
Then, General Hanlu Turtle's single horn glowed again, and an arm-thick black stream of water shot towards Droy.
Laki flashed, appearing in front of Droy, green light blooming from her hands, "Wood-Make - Block Affection!"
A wooden, hemispherical barrier instantly appeared before Laki's hands, steadily blocking the black water stream's attack.
But the impact of the water blade still made Laki retreat a few steps, a trace of blood spilling from the corner of her mouth.

"Boom!" The bludgeon violently collided with the water shield. The powerful impact made Laki's arms ache, her tiger's mouth split open, and blood stained the bludgeon's handle.
But Laki did not flinch. She gritted her teeth and swung the bludgeon with all her might again.
