"Take a look. Does this have what you need?" Yun Yun handed the ring to Jiang Lin, who didn't hesitate and immediately sent his spiritual energy into it. In the next moment, Jiang Lin felt his spiritual energy entering a vast, empty space of over a hundred cubic meters. In this space, more than ten light orbs were emitting faint light within his spiritual senses.
Jiang Lin instinctively moved his spiritual energy to each of the orbs, and his expression froze slightly. Most of them were sixth-tier materials, some of the orbs were large in size but still just sixth-tier, while others were small but emitted exceptionally bright light within his spiritual sense.
But what really surprised Jiang Lin was that among these light orbs, he found a magical core.
The ancient ring in Jiang Lin's hand flashed, and three light orbs flew out, floating in front of the two of them, held aloft by Dou Qi.
Yun Yun's beautiful blue eyes glinted with curiosity as she glanced at the three light orbs hovering in front of Jiang Lin. She had seen everything inside the ring, including several large items that measured two or three cubic meters, but now Jiang Lin held only three small items.
The three light orbs were: a fist-sized light golden crystal, a fist-sized grayish-white mineral, and a scroll about twenty centimeters long.
Yun Yun reached out and took the scroll from the Dou Qi orb. She dispersed her Dou Qi around it and used the faint light from the bronze wall to barely read the four large characters written on it: "Array Artifact Notes."
"Array Artifact Notes? How come I never noticed this before?" Yun Yun thought to herself, surprised. When she first found the ring and examined its contents, she was sure this scroll wasn't inside it.
"Well, it must have something to do with spiritual energy. This scroll is set with a concealed formation within the ring. If your spiritual energy wasn't up to the standard, you wouldn't have been able to detect it," Jiang Lin explained patiently, his eyes slightly flickering.
"Well, your spiritual energy is even stronger than mine, a Dou Huang," Yun Yun sighed, realizing Jiang Lin's strength was beyond her expectations. She gave up trying to investigate the scroll. She immediately realized that the scroll wasn't intended for her.
"This scroll was likely set by Lord Xuan to be passed on to the refiners. You can keep it. It won't do me any good." Yun Yun handed the scroll back to Jiang Lin and then looked at the light golden crystal, her eyes widening in shock. "It's a rare gold-element sixth-tier magical core. Although much of its energy has already been drained, I can still sense the immense power within it. Perhaps that magical beast it came from was at least a late-stage sixth-tier beast."
Indeed, Jiang Lin was very fortunate to have found a sixth-tier gold-element magical core in the ring. Though surprised, it made perfect sense upon further thought. The ring's previous owner, Lord Xuan, a super-tier array master, would likely have carried high-tier magical cores as a matter of course. The energy depletion in the core wasn't necessarily natural; it could have been used as the core of an array.
When Jiang Lin saw the sixth-tier magical core and the seventh-tier Soul Gold together, he began to imagine how Lord Xuan might have used these materials. With the energy of the core and the power of the Soul Gold, Lord Xuan could easily have summoned a powerful array beast comparable to a Dou Huang by using the energy from the heavens and earth, turning the core's minimal energy into an immensely powerful force!
As a super-tier array master, Lord Xuan must have forged a path of his own beyond the sixth-tier, which was typical of super-tier refiners in the Dou Qi continent. No one knew exactly what the right way was, so everyone blindly charged ahead in the dark.
Above the sixth-tier refiners, the seventh-tier is called the "Instrument Sect," which means the ability to establish a school and create a system of its own. A few super-tier refiners on the continent already possessed the strength of the seventh-tier, but most still called themselves super-tier refiners because they lacked the confidence to organize their sects properly.

The Refiner's Guild was a more comprehensive "Heavenly Craft" faction that combined the characteristics of both. Lord Xuan, no doubt, belonged to this faction, merging both Soul Artifacts and Array Artifacts while walking a unique path of super-tier arrays.
"Rumor has it that Lord Xuan once tamed a sixth-tier Golden Flame Eagle. If I'm not mistaken, this magical core should belong to that Golden Flame Eagle." Jiang Lin looked at the golden magical core in front of him, a hint of nostalgia in his tone.
Lord Xuan, of course, wouldn't have killed his magical beast mount, and instead, the Golden Flame Eagle died at the hands of the Golden Swallow Sect. The Lost Swallow Refiner Guild spent considerable effort to retrieve the magical core and returned it to the Refiner's Guild.
