Callum panicked when he saw his girlfriend unconscious. He immediately carried her body like a hero and walked out of the restaurant. He didn't care that everyone in the restaurant was watching and gossiping about them; he just wanted to save their relationship. He still couldn't believe his girlfriend would suddenly break up with him just because of that stupid DNA test result.
Edith's earlier statement was true. Indeed, his behavior was becoming increasingly possessive. Because Edith had hurt his feelings again, he increasingly wanted to control her and keep her by his side. He didn't even want to take her to the hospital, preferring to call his personal doctor to his home to treat his unconscious lover.
Edith was still asleep in her room. Callum was reluctant to leave his room. He still wanted to sleep next to his beloved woman, wanting to be the first to be welcomed. His right hand slowly stroked her head.
