Edith felt uneasy about this sudden meeting. Furthermore, Zack's sudden stalking of her made her start to panic. Even though Zack was Callum's acquaintance, he didn't want to be nice to him, hoping to frame him secretly. Now, she was trying to figure out how to remain calm, as if she didn't know anything.
"I've heard a lot about you from Callum. You're an entrepreneur developing an AI-based startup."
Zack slowly walked towards the beautiful woman in front of him. "I didn't expect Callum to tell you so much. We just met yesterday."
"What exactly is your purpose in wanting to meet me? Shouldn't you be meeting Callum if it's business?"
"Callum hasn't given me an answer yet. He said he needs time to think."
"But shouldn't you wait patiently? Callum will surely give you his answer soon." Edith grew increasingly frightened until her body hit the wall from constantly backing away.
