Zack finally heard the good news from Callum after waiting all day. He suspected Callum had suddenly changed his mind because he had threatened Edith with violence earlier that afternoon. He already knew Callum's weakness was related to Edith. Now he didn't have to go to the trouble of targeting everyone Callum cared about. Most importantly, he had earned enough money to pay off his mounting debts.
"No wonder you suddenly asked me out for a drink. I thought you'd invited me here just to drink with you."
"I told you before. You have to give me 24 hours to think about it. But you can't wait patiently for me."
"So you really did keep your promise." Zack patted Callum on the shoulder. "Thanks, Callum."
"But, I want the rate of return to be quite high. Can you do that?"
"Of course. Once my company is successful, I will definitely share my profits with you too."
"I certainly wish your company the best of luck. I'm truly honored to be your main investor."
