Chapter 109 - CHAPTER 109

"Hm!"

Both voices were low and grim.

Knowing full well how terrifying Aoyama Ryuyun's strength was, neither Roshi nor Han dared to hold back. Without hesitation, they began their Tailed Beast transformations.

However, neither of them were perfect Jinchūriki — the moment they unleashed their power, the chakra of the Tailed Beasts began to rage violently, teetering on the edge of a berserk state.

"Is this your trump card?"

Aoyama Ryuyun narrowed his eyes as he watched the monstrous forms of the Four-Tails and Five-Tails emerge — one shrouded in lava, the other enveloped in scalding steam.

He raised his sword, pointing it calmly at the two titanic beasts.

"In that case… let me completely destroy your hopes."

So what if they had two Tailed Beasts?

If they thought that was enough to defeat him, they were far too naïve.

"Earth Scroll — Ascending Dragon!"

With a single stomp, the ground cracked apart as a thunderous dragon's roar echoed across the battlefield.

A colossal earthen dragon, nearly the size of a Tailed Beast, surged upward from the ground, bellowing as it charged toward the Four-Tails and Five-Tails.

"Lava Release — Flower Fruit Mountain!"

Roshi, now fully transformed into the Four-Tails, Son Gokū, slammed both massive hands into the ground. Instantly, lava gushed forth like a burning tsunami, swallowing the earth in molten fire.

The heat warped the air itself.

Seeing the overwhelming tide of lava racing toward them, both Konoha and Iwagakure shinobi instinctively retreated, unwilling to be caught in the inferno.

"Five Mountain Leaps!"

The Five-Tails, Kokuō, its antelope-like form towering high, charged forward with blinding speed, ramming its horns directly into Aoyama Ryuyun.

Boom!

The impact shook the ground, sending Ryuyun skidding back dozens of meters, his boots gouging deep trenches into the scorched earth.

"Son Gokū! Can't you control your damn lava?!"

Kokuō halted, glaring at the molten terrain that threatened to swallow even him. His irritated voice carried over the battlefield.

"Tch."

Son Gokū only clicked his tongue in disdain, refusing to even acknowledge his fellow Tailed Beast.

Kokuō was about to retort when his eyes widened — the man he'd just sent flying had already risen to his feet.

Aoyama Ryuyun's aura pulsed, warping the air around him.

Both Tailed Beasts froze. Their senses, sharper than any human's, picked up on the dense, suffocating pressure radiating from him.

"What is this power…?"

"Such a terrifying aura — I've never felt anything like it!"

Aoyama Ryuyun glared coldly at them.

"That's enough."

He exhaled softly, his patience gone.

"I've entertained you long enough. Now, this war ends."

"Don't talk big, brat!" Son Gokū roared furiously, but even his bellow couldn't conceal the unease in his voice.

"Earth Scroll!"

Ryuyun slammed his blade point-first into the ground.

"Changing Heaven and Earth!"

Boom! Boom! Boom!

The earth trembled violently.

Under the power of the Float-Float Fruit, the terrain itself began to rise and twist. Mountains split open; the land warped as if the world were being rewritten.

"What—what is this?!"

Both Son Gokū and Kokuō looked around in shock as colossal rock formations surged upward, curling and collapsing like waves.

The rolling earth swallowed everything — the two Tailed Beasts were caught in a storm of moving stone and debris.

The watching shinobi stood frozen in disbelief.

"What kind of power is this?!"

"He turned the entire battlefield upside down!"

"Is that… the power of the Golden Lion?!"

This was no ordinary ninjutsu — it was a godlike power that transcended chakra, a force that could remake the world at will.

Bang! Bang! Bang!

The Four-Tails and Five-Tails struggled desperately, trying to control the flowing rocks. Chakra gathered in their mouths — they attempted to form Tailed Beast Balls.

But the living earth itself pressed against them from all sides, denying them the time or space to charge.

Within the domain shaped by Aoyama Ryuyun's Float-Float Fruit, even the mighty Tailed Beasts felt as if they were fighting the world itself.

And they were losing.

"Earth Scroll — Endless Great Seal!"

Aoyama Ryuyun's hands clapped together.

The ground erupted once more. The air quaked as massive torrents of earth and stone converged upon the two beasts.

Even working together, the Four-Tails and Five-Tails could only thrash helplessly as the rock engulfed them.

They were swallowed whole, buried beneath the rising mountains.

Tailed Beasts could not truly die — even if destroyed, their chakra would reform elsewhere in time.

Thus, the only true way to subdue them was to seal them.

Aoyama Ryuyun's Endless Great Seal was a technique of his own creation — a fusion of sealing arts and the Float-Float Fruit's manipulation of mass.

Though called a "seal," it was more akin to a cataclysm — hurling immense volumes of matter to bury and compress his targets until escape was impossible.

It resembled the legendary Chibaku Tensei, though it lacked that jutsu's gravitational core.

Dust settled.

Ryuyun brushed off his hands, retrieved his sword from the ground, and calmly slid it back into its sheath.

Before him stood two massive, unnatural mounds of earth — graves for the Four-Tails and Five-Tails.

"You bastard…"

A hoarse, trembling voice came from above.

Ōnoki floated in the air with the Lightened Boulder Technique, his face pale, veins bulging in fury.

Even crippled, his killing intent hadn't diminished.

When had such a monster appeared in the shinobi world?

In the past, he had mocked the Hidden Cloud for their failures — a full year of war without victory.

But now… he understood.

Against someone like this, it was a miracle they'd survived at all.

Ryuyun brushed the dust from his shoulder and glanced up, smirking faintly.

"Oh? I told you — not having legs doesn't really hold you back, does it?"

Ōnoki's expression twisted in silent rage.

He wanted nothing more than to order his men to fight to the death, to burn Konoha to the ground here and now.

But reason held him back.

If they continued, Iwagakure would be utterly annihilated — and Ōnoki knew it.

He took a slow, pained breath.

"Where are Roshi and Han…?" His voice was hoarse but firm. "Did you kill them?"

Aoyama Ryuyun turned his head slightly, his tone flat.

"Them?"
