Chapter 92 - CHAPTER - 92 NǏ HUÌ JIÙ WǑ MA, YUÁN? ( WILL YOU SAVE ME, YUAN?)

Yuan didn't lift his head to look at the doctor. He didn't respond, but he was listening. He was.

Doctor Feng took a deep sigh before speaking. Then he gathered enough courage and said, "Listen… she has Rh null value blood. I mean, her blood group is Rh null value." He hesitated after saying it.

Yuan immediately looked at him. He was still on his knees on the floor, but his eyes were dried from crying too much.

His voice came out very small and broken.

"What does that mean?" he asked.

Doctor Feng again took a deep sigh and said, "Look, her condition is very critical. Her blood group is Rh null value, which is the rarest blood group in whole China. Only 3 percent of people out of 100 have this blood group. I am saying 3 percent just to give you a figure, but honestly, it's even lower than that."

"Her blood group is often called the golden blood. Her blood is extremely valuable. Normal people have Rh antigens like D, C, c, E, e on red blood cells, but Rh null people have zero antigens—like in her case."

"In simple language, I can only say that her blood can save anyone, but no one can save her unless it is Rh null value blood."

"Due to this accident, she lost a lot of blood. And by a lot, I mean more than a lot—huge blood loss. We treated her wounds from where the blood was flowing continuously. The bleeding has stopped," the doctor paused, then said, "But she is out of blood."

"She needs blood urgently. In our hospital, we don't have it. We usually don't keep Rh null value blood. She has very little time. We have bandaged her wounds, but we need the blood immediately—within a few hours. Otherwise, we can't say anything about whether she will live or not."

Yuan immediately stood up and held Doctor Feng's shoulders with his shaking hands.

"Can't any other person give her blood?" he asked.

Doctor Feng immediately cut him off.

"No. No one can. This is not a normal rare blood group like O negative. It's Rh null value."

"In my entire career, I have treated so many patients, and this is my first time handling an Rh null value case. Now you can understand how rare it is. I have been working in this hospital for almost ten years, and today is my first case of this blood group."

"Listen, young man. Any incompatible blood is extremely dangerous for her. We need only Rh null value blood—only that."

"The reason we are telling you this is because if you know anyone with the same blood group, please call them immediately. We need to do a blood transfusion. From our side, we don't have this blood group. We have contacted the blood bank too, but they also don't have it."

"It seems like fate is playing its game very cruelly. We can't do anything more."

Doctor Feng walked away.

Meanwhile, Yuan stood there numb, like his world was about to collapse in the blink of an eye. He immediately wiped his tears with the back of his palm and took out his phone from his pocket.

His hands were shaking so badly that before he could dial any number, the phone slipped from his hands. He bent down, picked it up, and called someone.

"I need Rh null value blood now. I'll send you the location and address of the hospital on your WeChat. Do it immediately. Understood?" His voice was rough while speaking.

But deep inside, he was breaking—breaking into pieces of his own heart.

He cut the call and started crying right there, sitting on the floor.

Meanwhile, Doctor Feng was watching him through the glass of a treatment room. One of his colleague nurses came and stood beside him.

"Dr. Feng, isn't he the C-drama actor Xu Yuan?" she asked.

Doctor Feng smiled faintly and said, "No matter who he is, at this moment I only see a young boy who is falling apart."

"What is he to her?" the nurse asked.

Doctor Feng smiled again and said, "Some things don't need answers. Some are meant to be hidden. Let it be."

Meanwhile, Yuan punched the floor with his fist.

"Why, God? Why did you do this to her?" he asked himself. "You know her more than me. You know she is so fragile, so sensitive. She even cries for others' pain, and now when she is in pain, no one can help her."

"Why?" he asked again.

"You made her like this. She thinks about others so much that sometimes she forgets herself."

He punched the floor again.

"Why did she fall for me? Why did you let her? Why did you let her endure this pain when I didn't even know that knowingly or unknowingly I was hurting a soul that only knows how to love and be loved?"

"Is her wish to have me in her life costing her this? Costing her life?"

"She always said to me that I am her heartfelt wish… her heartfelt wish," he repeated and cried even louder.

"And look at me now. How helpless I am. Her heartfelt wish is standing here, doing nothing."

"But I can't. I can't let you take her from me—not now, not ever."

"If you didn't write us together, then why did you let her fall for me? Why did you?"

He wiped his tears and stood up.

"I won't leave this. I won't. I have many fans around the world, but that crowd doesn't have her. It doesn't have her."

"If you have written any pain, any unbearable suffering in her fate, then give it to me. Give it all to me. But please save her. Let her live. Let her live… please… please…"

Then a thought struck him immediately.

He called Wang Ruoxi.

"Wang Ruoxi, can you please come here? I'll share the location. Just tell me when you reach."

Before Wang Ruoxi could ask anything, he cut the call.

Time passed.

After almost half an hour, Wang Ruoxi reached the hospital. The moment she saw Yuan, she ran towards him.

"Is she alright?" she asked worriedly.

Yuan shook his head and started crying again.

"Tell me what happened exactly," Wang Ruoxi asked.

Yuan took some time but explained everything that happened today.

"Do you know anyone who has this blood group?" he asked.

Wang Ruoxi shook her head. "No. In our circle, she is the only one with this blood group."

"Do her mother, father, or any sibling have it?" Yuan asked.

"No," Wang Ruoxi cut him off. "Her father's blood group is B positive, her mother's is O positive. She has one sibling—her sister Xin Xin—and even she has AB positive blood. So no one around us has this blood group."

"Did she know about it?" Yuan asked.

Wang Ruoxi looked down. "No. You know she is very sensitive and emotionally weak, so her parents never told her. They always told her she had A positive blood whenever she asked."

"What kind of family is this?" Yuan said angrily. "What if someday she tells someone her blood group is A positive and gets the wrong transfusion? Is this how sensible parents behave? They didn't even care about her health—"

"Stop it, Yuan," Wang Ruoxi said sharply. "You don't know her family, so you have no right to say such harsh words about them. It's better you focus on how we will get that blood instead of cursing her parents."

"She is my girl—" Yuan started.

Wang Ruoxi stopped him immediately.

"Oh really? She is your girl?" she said coldly. "Then where were you when she cried on those sleepless nights? When she saw you with other female actresses doing romantic scenes, were you there for her?"

"So don't say things you don't understand. You don't even know how important she is to her family or how much they suffered to get her. I know it."

"So don't you dare, Mr. Xu Yuan, don't you dare say such words about her family. You've known her for a few months, and look at you—claiming rights over her like she belongs to you. Wow. Amazing."

"If fighting with me is more important than saving your best friend, then I really understand you now."

"If you want to take out your frustration, go ahead. But I have to save her. I have to—at any cost."

Yuan ran away from there, breathless, shaking.

But something inside him still made him believe—

that he had to do something.

That he will do something.

That he has to…
