The man in golden armor—Krieg himself—stormed into the restaurant, shouting at the chefs."You! Get a hundred meals ready for my crew, right now! Or else…"
A cruel grin spread across his face as he hefted a massive war spear weighing nearly a ton and pointed it straight at them. The threat didn't need any more words.
The chefs froze under his overwhelming presence, their faces pale with fear.
"Hey! Who the hell are you? Move it, you're blocking the way."
That casual, annoyed voice from behind made Krieg frown.Who the hell dared talk to him like that?!
He spun around and saw a group walking in—a guy and four girls.
"Who said that?!" he barked, looking them over with a sneer. He was already pissed off, and now someone was picking a fight with him? What, did they think they were Mihawk or something?
"I said it. So what?" Nami snapped back, hands on her hips, glaring right at him.
"Logan, do you know this guy?" Kaya whispered.
Logan gave a lazy glance and said, "Yeah. That's Krieg. That busted-up ship outside? His."
"What?!"
The girls all looked at Krieg with renewed interest. That's the so-called overlord of the East Blue?
Nami blinked for a moment, then smirked.Sixteen million berries? That's barely three-quarters of Arlong's bounty. What's he showing off for?
"You little brat. You know who I am, and you still dare—"
Before Krieg could finish his threat, a long spear wrapped in lightning was already pressed against his chest.
Nami stared him down. "If you don't wanna die, get lost. You're ruining our appetite."
Logan didn't even look his way. He just brushed past Krieg and headed for an empty table. The other girls followed casually behind.
The restaurant fell into uneasy silence.Every guest could feel it—something bad was about to happen.
Krieg trembled with fury. How dare they! He was Krieg, ruler of the East Blue!No one here had ever dared humiliate him like this.No one but Mihawk ever had.
"Damn brat! Die!"
Roaring with rage, Krieg swung his massive spear.
"What a buzzkill," Nami muttered.
She clenched her fist. The lightning spear shot forward, thunder coiling around it like a living serpent.
Bolts of electricity danced wildly across Krieg's body.Sparks crackled and popped as his massive frame convulsed uncontrollably.
A moment later, black smoke curled from his mouth, and the spear slipped from his hands with a heavy clang.
"Ugh, just as annoying as Arlong," Nami said with a frown.
A gust of wind rose out of nowhere, lifting Krieg's twitching body and hurling him a dozen meters away—straight into the sea with a splash.
The restaurant fell deathly silent.
She… one-shotted him?
Everyone stared at Nami in disbelief. The mighty Krieg—defeated in a single move?
A stunned voice finally broke the silence."She's Nami! Nami from the Logan Pirates!"
A customer hurriedly pulled a freshly bought newspaper from his coat and compared Nami's photo.Orange hair. Lightning powers.Everything matched perfectly.
Which meant…
He swallowed hard and slowly turned toward Logan and the others.Oh, hell. That was Captain Logan of the Dan Pirates!
"You… you guys…" he stammered, standing up in a panic. Logan's bounty was even higher than Krieg's.
Logan frowned slightly but spoke calmly. "Relax. We're just here to eat. We're not looking for trouble."
He glanced at the man's newspaper. "Mind if I take a look?"
The guest flinched but quickly nodded, handing it over.
Logan took the paper and walked away.
Once it was clear he meant no harm, everyone finally exhaled and went back to their seats.Pirates eating at Baratie weren't exactly rare, but they didn't know what kind of people Logan's crew were—and after seeing Krieg get zapped into the ocean, nobody wanted to find out.
But Logan seemed chill enough, so maybe it was fine.
"The Navy works fast. Already put out bounties, huh?" Logan said with a grin, scanning the paper.
Then his smile faded.
The girls noticed and quickly gathered around him.
There were only two wanted posters—Logan and Nami.
Logan: Captain of the Logan Pirates. Suspected Cloud-Cloud Fruit user.Bounty: 30 million berries.
"Wow, Logan, that's amazing!" Kaya said with a bright smile and a thumbs-up.
A first bounty that high? That meant the Navy took him very seriously.Nojiko and Makino both nodded in agreement.
"What about mine? Do I have one?!" Nami asked eagerly.
She'd beaten Arlong, worth twenty million—hers had to be pretty high too, right?
They looked further down.
Nami: Navigator of the Logan Pirates. Suspected Thunder-Thunder Fruit user. Bounty: 50 million berries.
"Fifty million?!"
"You've gotta be kidding me—I'm worth fifty million?!"
Nami stared at the paper, rechecking several times before grinning wide."Logan, my bounty's higher than yours!"
She put her hands on her hips and raised an eyebrow at him, full of smug energy. "From now on, you call me Boss Lady."
Makino chuckled softly. "It's not every day the crewmate has a higher bounty than the captain."
Kaya and Nojiko burst into giggles, covering their mouths. Now they understood why Logan's expression had turned so dark.
Logan smiled thinly. "Is that so? Then let's 'spar' a little tonight."
Boss Lady, huh?She really had the guts to say that.
Let's see who's boss later tonight.
Nami froze like a cat whose tail had been stepped on."Captain! Dearest, strongest, most amazing Captain! I was just joking! You're way stronger than me!" she blurted.
Then she hurriedly changed the subject. "I'm starving! Let's order already!"
She really was scared—after all, the man had the endless stamina of the Healing Fruit.
The other girls went quiet too, remembering just how terrifying Logan could be when crossed.
Seeing them all behave, Logan finally let it go and called a waiter over.Soon, a whole table of food was ordered.
"Alright, dig in," Logan said, his irritation already fading.
"....."
