Kurt came to the Dutchery of the Tiny Forest. He came to see his lifelong friend Dutchess Sara. In many respects, they had started this whole kingdom together with Layla. He was having a long day. First a demon then a dragon then Betsy's friend.
Kurt had been thinking about titles a lot. Sara and Betsy had chosen theirs and he didn't have a real court to begin with.
But for problems like these, there was one thing Kurt liked best about being at the top: delegation- make it someone else's problem.
Sara was actually a very diligent lady. And held court often and much more formally than Kurt. She actually had mixed race forces, now with a lot of humans too.
Kurt had come up to her throne and stood next, of course the people bowed. But Kurt had made sure that Sara knew that a visit like this meant they had finished the business at hand.
"Lord Kurt," said Sara. "Is there a reason for this visit. I have chosen a Viscount for Sylvain."
