"Do you want this more formal or can we do this at the table?" said the King.
"Here is fine with me," said Layla, "we really should get the ugly part out of the way."
The King commented on his guard and the artists and waiters were led out of the room. The King took the moment to take a few bites out of his meal.
"Well let's start with those springs popping up in the Arrow mountains. This is your doing?"
"Yes."
"And there are tracks for goblins there."
"That would be possible."
"So you have a base there, in my Kingdom."
"This was an unfortunate oversight on my part, one I can rectify."
"That would dry up the mana springs."
"Yes, I'm afraid it would."
"And what is this base?"
"There is a fae well, and a nursery there and it is being lightly protected, that is all. When I first moved it I was unable to hold it long enough."
"And you just left it there, and didn't tell anyone."
