Whoosh! Bang!
The portal rippled violently.
Dr. Paradox stumbled out, his eyes bloodshot, his face haggard and pale.
His condition was terrifyingly poor.
"Shit…"
"Someone come out!!"
"What the hell is wrong with this guy?!"
The crowd erupted into chaos, countless people staring at Dr. Paradox in stunned disbelief.
Ethen glared at him, his mouth opening slightly, forming silent words.
Why did you come again?
Dr. Paradox forced a bitter smile.
"I tried everything," he said hoarsely.
"I did my best to hold that monster back… but I still couldn't stop him from finding your universe."
Whoosh!
The portal flickered again.
A distorted figure phased in and out of reality.
As if by destiny—
Error Alien X chose to descend upon Ethen's universe, locking onto him instantly!!
At the same moment—
Ethen decisively raised his wrist.
The Original Omnitrix (Max-Level Edition) gleamed.
He slammed the dial, twisted it violently, aimed—
And transformed at the fastest speed possible!
Whoosh!
A blinding flash of light exploded outward.
Alien X appeared in place, standing perfectly still.
The orthodox, immovable God of Absolute Stillness had arrived.
"I don't even know what happened," Error Alien X laughed savagely.
"It's like some voice guided me here!"
His form fully stabilized.
Twisted grin.
Bloodthirsty eyes.
"I came for you!!"
Bang! Bang! Bang!
The spectators fled instantly.
The street emptied.
Only three remained—
The exhausted Dr. Paradox.
The eager, malicious Error Alien X.
And the motionless Alien X.
Inside Alien X
Ethen stared upward at the two massive consciousnesses, helplessness on his face.
Serena, embodiment of love and peace, spoke calmly.
"We don't necessarily need to fight, do we, Ethen?"
Bellicus, radiating violence, roared furiously.
"What are you waiting for?! Kill the error freak—and that Dr. Paradox too! They both screwed you over!"
Ethen exhaled slowly.
"I'll say this once," he said calmly.
"Can you two let me control the divine power?"
"Only if you agree to our conditions!" Serena and Bellicus answered in unison.
So there was no room for negotiation.
"…Sigh. The restrictions of traditional Alien X really are disgusting."
Ethen sat down cross-legged.
And gave up voting entirely.
The scene stunned both consciousnesses.
What was this human doing?
Outside
Bang! Bang! Bang!!
Error Alien X finally lost patience.
He unleashed a barrage of heavy blows onto Alien X!
Alien X didn't move.
Didn't block.
Didn't retaliate.
Cracks began spreading across his body!!
Dr. Paradox's heart dropped.
"Oh no… Ethen can't unleash that berserk authority anymore!!"
If this continued—
Alien X would die.
Even worse—
Cracks began appearing inside Alien X's consciousness space itself.
All three consciousnesses—including Ethen—felt the pain simultaneously!
Bellicus stared in disbelief.
"Are you insane?! You're not even voting—you're just letting him beat you to death?!"
Ethen laughed quietly.
"I can't satisfy both of you. And you won't compromise. Then we'll endure the pain together…
And die together."
Madness bloomed in his eyes.
The two consciousnesses froze.
They had never expected—
This human wouldn't beg.
Wouldn't negotiate.
He simply gave up.
Bellicus nearly vomited blood.
"Enough!! I don't want to watch you get beaten anymore! I'll give you the authority!"
"Thank you."
Ethen smiled faintly.
"After I die, this universe will be destroyed."
"…Enough. Then let's talk after it's destroyed!!"
Serena snapped, stubborn to the end.
Outside
Dr. Paradox suddenly shouted.
"Error Alien X! Don't you want to destroy this universe? Wouldn't it be more fun to destroy the universe first… and then kill the transformer?"
"Hm…" Error Alien X paused.
"…That actually sounds reasonable."
Divine power gathered in his hands as he turned toward the universe itself.
"Resolution… Unanimously passed."
Alien X's eyes flared with blinding light.
His body moved.
He stepped forward and unleashed a divine uppercut straight into Error Alien X's jaw!
BANG!!
Teeth shattered.
Error Alien X was launched sky-high, smashing into the distance!!
"Dr. Paradox," Alien X said coldly, flexing his hand as divine power repaired his body,
"You actually wanted to destroy my universe?"
"It was just to get Serena to pass the resolution," Dr. Paradox smiled.
It had been a trap.
One Ethen had agreed to.
"Hm."
"We're even."
A crisp sound echoed in Alien X's mind.
Ding! Mission issued: "Rise of the Second-Generation Error Watch."
Mission Objective: The second-generation error watch has returned and regards you as a mortal enemy.
Eliminate the watch and destroy the transformer.
Mission Reward: 500 Reward Points.
Alien X vanished in a flash, accelerating toward Error Alien X!!
"Damn it! You used me!!"
Error Alien X roared, lunging forward.
The two collided violently, engaging in brutal close-quarters combat!
But this time—
Error Alien X was completely suppressed.
In raw data—Alien X dominated him.
In technique—Alien X predicted everything.
"Dodge—"
Error Alien X's body twitched—
Alien X already saw it.
He punched into empty air.
BANG!!
Error Alien X dodged directly into the punch.
His eyes bulged.
"What the fuck?! How can anyone suppress my danger perception?!"
Alien X's voice was merciless.
"A guy who can't fight…"
"Just wait for death."
His fists struck again and again, each blow perfectly calculated.
Error Alien X was utterly crushed.
Below, Dr. Paradox watched.
When he heard the words "just wait for death"—
The killing intent sent chills through him.
"…That cold killing intent. It really warms my heart."
Dr. Paradox exhaled deeply.
Yes.
This was the Ethen he believed in.
