Lucian stared blankly at the stream of notifications flooding his vision.
He wasn't surprised that the girls were impressed — he'd just helped prevent a cross-dimensional disaster — but still, some numbers made him pause.
Guys can have affection too?
He squinted.
Right. Affection System, not Harem System.
The one that truly caught his eye, however, was Noir.
A whopping one-fifty. Even Eve hadn't gone that high, and she had literally given herself to him — body, soul, and essence.
"Am I about to get a Yandere Primordial Demon?" he muttered under his breath.
He quickly hid the guys' data out of sight. No one needed to see that.
As for the girls — each over sixty affection — maybe it was time to start that Great Harem Plan…
Then again, he reminded himself, "Maybe I should have one girlfriend before I start counting multipliers."
Akeno hitting one hundred was ridiculous.
She was fierce, sure, but this?
Probably the System's fault — or benefit, depending on perspective.
Koneko's modest score made sense. Quiet type, emotionally guarded. No complaints there.

Now, Lucian was in Kyoto, walking down lantern-lined streets beside Velzard. The evening air shimmered with faint spiritual energy, the kind that hummed beneath the surface of the city. Rimuru, meanwhile, had found her paradise — a manga café with unlimited hot chocolate and Wi-Fi. She wasn't leaving anytime soon.
Good thing she could hide her presence. Earth's supernatural scene was messy, and even Rimuru was surprised at how busy this world's hidden side was.
Earlier, he'd asked lightly,
"Would you like to go to your old home?"
Rimuru had just shrugged. "Nah. It's not like I've got anyone waiting for me there."
Now, Velzard lifted her head slightly, her tone smooth as silk. "Hmm. I'm feeling a Draconic presence nearby. Want to check it out?"
Lucian glanced at her over his pudding cup. "I don't feel anything."
Velzard smirked faintly. "Doesn't mean it doesn't exist. And I seem to recall meeting this one before."
He sighed, finishing his bite. "Well, if you want to go dragon-hunting, I won't stop you."
Truthfully, he'd spent the last hour sampling sweets — because he'd recently discovered the best thing about being, well, him: no matter how much he ate, he never got fat.
Velzard, sipping her matcha latte pudding with unnerving composure, seemed equally pleased with her newfound Earth desserts.
"Tell me something," he said, "this dragon you sense — True Dragon or some lesser kind? And can you just give me general info about dragons too?"
"Hmm. Depends," she said lightly. "What do you already know?"
Lucian thought for a moment. "There are four True Dragons: Veldora, Velgrynd, you, and Veldanava. And most others descend from the Chaos Dragon."
Her gaze flicked toward him, faint amusement in her icy eyes. "You know more than most mortals. Even some gods don't know my brother's name. But not all dragons come from Chaos. Some are of Veldanava's own lineage. His first daughter… well, let's not talk about her. And then there's the Dream Dragon, known as Great Red — born from the body he left behind. The one we're about to meet, however… his kind was born from the remnants of my brother's magicules."
Lucian nodded slowly, processing it. The way she spoke — calm, reverent, almost nostalgic — gave the words a strange gravity.
By the time she finished, they stood atop a Kyoto rooftop. Neon reflections shimmered off temple tiles, a perfect mix of modern lights and old divinity.
---
"Who are you people?"
The voice came from a silver-haired boy below. His aura surged, his body encased in gleaming armor that hummed with celestial power.
Lucian didn't need to guess — Vali Lucifer.
Before the boy could attack, a deep, echoing voice spoke from within the armor.
"Greetings to Lady Velzard."
The air stilled. Even the neon lights seemed to dim.
Velzard chuckled softly. "Albion. Still haven't found your way out of Yahweh's seal, I see."
Albion's tone held a strange blend of pride and terror. "Lady Velzard… after all this time."
Vali blinked. "Albion, you know them?"
"Yes," Albion said quickly. "This is Lady Velzard, the True Dragon of Frost."
Vali's grin widened, reckless and eager. "A dragon? Then you must be strong. Fight me."
"Vali—!" Albion's voice cracked. "Stop! Even in my prime, I couldn't stand against her. Apologize before she—"
Velzard waved a hand dismissively. "No harm done. Though I must decline — you wouldn't survive the pressure, let alone the battle."
Lucian sighed. "You're too kind. He needs a good reality check."
"Hmm. Perhaps," she said thoughtfully. "How about this — if you defeat Lucian, I'll accept your challenge."
Lucian blinked. "Excuse me?"
"If you're afraid, just say so," Vali shot back, his grin turning sharp.
Lucian exhaled slowly. "Vel, put up a barrier. I'm about to ruin a prodigy's week."
---
They moved to an open stretch outside the city.
Velzard raised a hand, and a crystalline dome shimmered into existence — sealing off all mortals and casting an illusion.
Vali floated within his Scale Mail, blue-white energy flaring like a comet's trail.
Lucian, opposite him, let the human façade melt away — horns curved from his skull, eyes bright with silver fire, skin tracing faint markings of divine frost and shadow.
"Divide."
"Divide."
"Divide."
Each invocation of Albion's power echoed like thunder, but Lucian didn't so much as flinch.
Vali scowled. "Why isn't it working?"
Lucian tilted his head. "Because it doesn't."
The Essence of Protection pulsed faintly within him, nullifying all draining and sealing effects — a passive wall against the world itself.
He let out a low breath, and the world shuddered. The aura that followed wasn't demonic, divine, or draconic — it was chaotic, ancient, and primal, the echo of something that had existed before order was ever born.
From that chaos, a weapon formed — a curved sickle, black and gold, humming with creation's pulse.
Velzard's eyes widened slightly.
A Genesis-grade weapon… impossible.
Even she, a True Dragon, hadn't expected to see such a relic again.
Vali's breath hitched, but he pressed forward. The ground splintered beneath his feet as he charged, roaring Albion's awakening chant.
I, who am about to awaken,
Am the Heavenly Dragon who lost all to the principles of supremacy.
I envy the "infinite" and I pursue the "dream."
I shall become the White Dragon of Supremacy!
And I shall take you to the limits of innocence!
The Juggernaut Drive ignited.
Vali's armor pulsed with blinding light, wings of raw energy tearing the air apart as he shot forward.
Lucian met him halfway. The Sickle of Cronus sang through the air — each swing carving ripples of warped space. When their blows collided, shockwaves shattered the barrier's surface, and arcs of white flame and black frost scattered like lightning.
Vali's strike connected — and Lucian barely budged. He countered with a sweep, the sickle leaving afterimages of crescent moons in its wake. The air hissed as a beam of Eclipse energy shot out, vaporizing a ridge in the distance.
Vali was sent skidding back, the earth beneath him scorched glass.
Lucian sighed, tightening his grip. "Vel, looks like I'll have to take this seriously."
---
When he moved again, the temperature dropped. The ground crystallized into translucent ice; clouds above swirled into a storm of silver and gold.
Lucian's Draconian form emerged fully now — scales of lunar black and radiant frost, wings vast enough to darken the horizon. His presence alone bent reality — the myth of Typhon incarnate.
The Sickle warped into a full Scythe, its edge glowing with cosmic light.
He swung once — and the shockwave erased the landscape in front of him.
Vali's armored limbs began to crumble under the destructive aura. Albion screamed warnings inside the armor, but the young dragon pushed through, eyes blazing with exhilaration.
"That's it," Lucian said quietly. "Now you're getting it."
He blurred forward, striking with godlike precision. Each motion was measured — terrifying, yet controlled — until finally, Vali crashed into the dirt, armor flickering, Juggernaut Drive fading.
---
"Vali!"
A sharp voice cut through the fading storm. A man descended from the sky, six black wings unfurled, his aura sharp yet strangely composed.
Lucian turned, recognizing him instantly.
"Azazel," he murmured.
And just like that, the tension in the air shifted — the next storm waiting to break.
