"Oh god, everyone look outside!"
In Konoha Village, a young boy pointed toward the sky, shouting in shock.
"That's a Susanoo! Whose is it?" a middle-aged shinobi muttered, stroking his chin.
Although the dark red Susanoo was massive and terrifying, the villagers weren't panicking.
As long as the Seventh Hokage was there, they believed they would be safe.
"Hmm, not bad, not bad," Madara mused, crossing his arms as he looked up at the enormous, towering Susanoo before him.
"I don't know where this Uchiha came from, but her talent is truly remarkable."
"Madara, now's not the time to talk about that," Hashirama said seriously.
"The destructive power of a Complete Body Susanoo is immense. This close to the village, we have to stop her immediately."
"Move aside—or don't blame me for being impolite!"
Inside the Susanoo's head, Hikari glared down coldly at everyone below.
"Damn it, she can actually activate a Susanoo just like Sasuke!" Suigetsu exclaimed, his jaw dropping.
"Yeah," Jugo replied, his face grim. "Her ocular jutsu absorbed Chakra from both the First Hokage and Madara. Her power right now is no joke."
"Wonderful… her storm is fierce," Orochimaru murmured with a smirk. "I wonder how much stronger she can get."
"Sorry, Uchiha girl," Hashirama said solemnly. "But this is the village I love deeply. Even if it's my best friend, I won't let anyone destroy it."
He clapped his hands together—black markings appeared around his eyes as he entered Sage Mode.
"Wood Release: Wood Golem Technique!"
With a thunderous rumble, the ground quaked violently as a colossal wooden giant rose up—its height rivaling Hikari's Complete Body Susanoo.
"Tch."
Madara frowned at Hashirama's words, displeased. He activated his own Complete Body Susanoo immediately after.
"Why?! Why are you stopping me from seeing Boruto?!" Hikari screamed, her Mangekyō Sharingan glowing fiercely. "You all deserve to die!"
Her determination burned like fire. Even if countless obstacles stood in her way, Hikari would charge through them all—for the chance to see Boruto again.
"Stop!"
A familiar voice echoed across the battlefield.
Naruto appeared at the foot of Hikari's Susanoo, shouting anxiously.
"Naruto, you're finally here," Orochimaru said with a faint chuckle, his tone playful.
"Orochimaru, what's going on? Who is she?" Naruto demanded, glaring at him.
"Ah, her?" Orochimaru shrugged. "I dug her out of a bronze coffin. An Uchiha from the Warring States Period."
"An Uchiha from the Warring States Period…?" Naruto's eyes widened. The memory of the ancient scroll he'd been reading earlier flashed in his mind.
It couldn't be a coincidence.
Meanwhile, Hikari's eyes softened as she stared at Naruto.
"He looks so much like Boruto… the same golden hair, the same blue eyes… even the same whisker marks on his face," she whispered.
"Who are you?" she asked, her voice trembling slightly.
"Me? I'm Uzumaki Naruto, the Hokage of Konoha Village," he replied.
"Uzumaki Naruto… what's your relationship with Boruto?" Hikari asked, her voice filled with nervous excitement.
"Boruto?" Naruto blinked, then realized what she meant. "Wait, you're from the Warring States Period? That means… Boruto really did travel back in time!"
He took a deep breath and smiled gently. "I'm Boruto's father."
"Boruto's… father…" Hikari repeated softly. Her Susanoo faded, and she slowly descended to the ground.
Seeing her calm down, Hashirama and Madara also deactivated their techniques.
"Are you really Boruto's father?" Hikari asked again, her voice shaking.
"Haha, don't I look like him?" Naruto replied, scratching the back of his head with a grin.
"Itachi," Shisui whispered beside him. "The situation looks… complicated."
"Yeah," Itachi nodded quietly, his eyes narrowing.
"Then… where's Boruto now?" Hikari's hostility was gone, replaced by shyness.
After all, she was meeting Boruto's father—and that felt even more nerve-wracking than any battle.
"Boruto, huh…" Naruto hesitated. "He's not in the village these past two days. He might be back soon."
"Boruto… isn't here?" Hikari's eyes dimmed with disappointment.
"Oh right—what's your name? How did you and Boruto meet? And how did you end up here from the past?" Naruto asked curiously.
"I… My name is Uchiha Hikari…" she stammered nervously.
"Don't worry," Naruto said kindly. "Take your time."
Hikari took a deep breath before explaining everything—how Boruto had saved her, freed her, and changed her life. By the time she finished, her cheeks were flushed red.
"So that's how it is…" Naruto thought with a sigh. "Boruto really did go back in time. And it sounds like… she likes him."
"Hey Madara," Hashirama teased with a grin. "So this girl's from your great-grandmother's generation? Seems like she's fallen for Boruto."
"Hmph. Naturally evil yellow-haired brat," Madara muttered under his breath.
At that moment, Minato and Kushina arrived at the scene.
"Naruto! What happened?" Minato asked.
"Father, Mother… it's a bit of a long story," Naruto replied.
"Her name's Uchiha Hikari. She's an Uchiha from the Warring States Period. She was sealed away and just woke up. She came here looking for Boruto."
"An Uchiha from the Warring States Period?" Minato repeated, surprised.
"Looking for Boruto?" Kushina asked, smiling mischievously as she studied Hikari. "Interesting…"
"They're Boruto's grandparents…" Hikari murmured shyly, lowering her head.
"Well," Naruto said with a sigh, "we'll just have to wait until Boruto returns. Let's go back to the village first."
He turned toward Hikari. "Come with us, Hikari."
"Okay…" she said softly, exhaling in relief.
After all her searching, she had finally found Boruto's home. Her journey was almost over.
But suddenly, Hikari's expression turned pale. A sharp pain shot through her head—after being sealed for centuries, her body couldn't handle the strain any longer.
Her knees buckled, and she began to fall.
"Hikari!" Kushina caught her just in time, holding her gently. "She's exhausted. Let's get her some rest."
"Right," Naruto said, nodding. Then he turned to Orochimaru. "You too, Orochimaru. Want to come back to the village?"
Orochimaru chuckled. "Heh… then I'll gladly accept the invitation."
Together, they walked back into Konoha Village—under the warm light of dusk, where a new story was just beginning.
