"As expected of Mr. Sasuke's daughter—her Illusion talent is truly amazing," Chōjūrō said, eyes fixed on Sarada.
"Uchiha Sarada's Sharingan has evolved this far already? That's… the Three-Tomoe Sharingan?" Darui murmured in disbelief. "How old is she?"
Naruto smiled faintly as he listened to their conversation. "If they knew Sarada has already awakened the Mangekyō Sharingan, they'd probably be even more shocked…"
"Winner—Uchiha Sarada!" Rock Lee announced, his voice echoing through the arena as Sarada's match came to an end.
"Next match: Konoha's Inojin Yamanaka versus Sunagakure's Araya!"
After a fierce confrontation, Inojin ultimately couldn't overcome his opponent and was defeated.
"Winner—Sunagakure's Araya!"
"Next match: Konoha's Mitsuki versus Konoha's Namida Suzumeno!"
Namida nervously drew her kunai. "Mitsuki, please go easy on me."
Mitsuki nodded slightly. "Yes, I'll try to be gentle."
Before she could react, several white snakes shot out from his sleeves, lunging toward her with lightning speed.
"Ahhh—SNAKES!"
Namida screamed in terror, immediately turning to flee. She sprinted straight up the wall, clinging to it like a cat before escaping the arena altogether.
The crowd burst into laughter.
"This… can this count as a tactic?" Rock Lee chuckled, then raised his hand. "Winner—Konoha's Mitsuki, by opponent forfeit!"
Namida slid back down the wall, hiding her face in embarrassment.
"Hahaha! Now that's entertaining," Darui laughed.
Kurotsuchi nodded in agreement. "That's what new Genin battles should be like. The earlier ones were monster-level fights."
"Next match: Sunagakure's Shinki versus Konoha's Akimichi Chocho!"
Darui leaned back. "Ah, finally the last match of the first round."
Kurotsuchi looked toward Gaara with interest. "That one must be your ace, huh? Is he strong?"
"You'll see soon enough," Gaara replied calmly.
On the field, Shinki looked up at the VIP box, determination in his eyes. "Father, I won't disappoint you."
Meanwhile, Chocho crossed her arms and smirked. "What's wrong? Too shy to face my charm?"
Shinki blinked, then replied flatly, "Let me apologize first."
"Huh? What for?"
"I'm not good at holding back."
The sand-iron cloak around his body rippled, coming alive with a metallic hum.
"You should hurry up and make your move. Like the girl who ran off earlier, you're not suited to be a ninja. I'll show you reality."
Chocho's smile vanished. "What you said just made me angry."
"Partial Expansion Jutsu!"
Her fist grew massive as she charged forward, but Shinki's sand iron shifted into a colossal hand and effortlessly blocked her punch.
"What?!" Chocho gasped, stunned by the sheer defense.
From there, the match became one-sided. Even her strongest technique—Human Bullet Tank—was easily neutralized.
Finally, Chocho collapsed from Chakra exhaustion.
"Winner—Sunagakure's Shinki!" Rock Lee declared.
As Shinki stepped back, Boruto, Sarada, Mitsuki, Shikadai, and Inojin rushed in to help Chocho off the field.
Shinki glanced at Boruto, eyes filled with determination. "Boruto Uzumaki, you're strong. I swear, in my father's name, that I'll defeat you in our next battle."
Boruto chuckled. "You swear in your dad's name? Does your dad—the Kazekage—know?"
Shinki froze, speechless.
Boruto continued teasing. "You'd better not swear like that. If you lose, you'll just embarrass your dad."
Shinki frowned. "Son of Hokage, strength isn't something you prove with words."
Boruto grinned. "You're right. So I swear in my Hokage dad's name that I'll definitely beat you in the next fight!"
The crowd erupted with excitement. Naruto sighed and rubbed his forehead. "This kid…"
Darui laughed. "Hahaha, Naruto, your son's got spirit."
Kurotsuchi nodded. "I can't wait to see the duel between the Hokage's son and the Kazekage's son!"
"Semifinals, first match: Konoha's Boruto Uzumaki versus Sunagakure's Shinki! Battle begins after a thirty-minute break!" Rock Lee announced.
In the lounge, Sarada frowned. "Boruto, why'd you swear in your dad's name?"
Boruto smirked. "It's fine. I'm not planning to lose anyway."
Sarada sighed. "You really are impossible sometimes."
Just then, a mechanical chime rang in Boruto's mind.
[Ding! Congratulations, Host Boruto Uzumaki, for completing role-playing! Reward: All abilities of Kosuke Maruboshi!]
[Host: Boruto Uzumaki]
[Role-played Character: Uchiha Sasuke (Chunin Exams)]

Boruto blinked, then chuckled. "System, you're doing this on purpose, huh? Facing Gaara's son while I'm playing Sasuke from the Chunin Exams… Guess we're recreating a classic."
He smirked. "Well then, let's do this properly."
As the match began, Boruto and Shinki faced each other in the center of the arena.
The crowd roared, the excitement reaching a fever pitch.
"Boruto-sama, don't lose to the Sand Village!" someone shouted.
"Brother, go for it!" Himawari yelled, her voice cutting through the noise.
Shinki locked eyes with Boruto. "I've been waiting for this battle. Show me your full power, Boruto Uzumaki!"
Boruto thought casually, All my power? I could flatten your sand with one punch.
Outwardly, he just smiled. "Then let me show you Uchiha Sasuke's full strength."
White smoke billowed around him, and when it cleared, Boruto now stood dressed as Sasuke from the Chunin Exams—black outfit, cool expression, and a sharp aura radiating from his stance.
