"Madara is an extremely dangerous existence, young man. We should unite to fight him, not challenge him one by one."
Hiruzen frowned, doing his best to persuade Boruto to reconsider.
"Enough talk. Just go in."
Boruto waved his hand gently, and an invisible gravitational force instantly dragged Hiruzen into the barrier, placing him face-to-face with Madara.
Damn it... Is this young man also from the future? He looks so much like Naruto—could he be Naruto's son? What exactly is he planning?
Hiruzen's mind raced. He clearly has enough power to crush Madara easily, yet he still wants us to fight him one by one…
"Even the First Hokage was defeated. Can the Third Hokage win?" The Shinobi Alliance murmured in uneasy tones.
"Kakashi, do you think Third-sama will win?" Might Guy asked.
"This…" Kakashi hesitated, then turned to Naruto. "By the way, Naruto—what exactly does your son want to do? Why doesn't he just end this?"
"I don't know either," Naruto admitted with a shrug. "He hasn't said a word about it."
"Boruto probably just wants to play around," Sarada said flatly.
"Play around?" Kakashi repeated, astonished.
"Yes. With Boruto's strength, the entire Fourth Great Ninja War is nothing more than a game of house to him." Sarada's eyes shone with absolute confidence in Boruto.
"This war—with so many sacrifices—just a game to him?" Kakashi couldn't help but take a sharp breath.
At that moment, Minato approached, his eyes fixed on Boruto. "Naruto, is that your son? My grandson?" he asked, pointing.
"...Naruto's son?" Sakura echoed in disbelief. Then she turned to Sarada.
"Sarada, what's your relationship with that purple-haired girl—and him?" Her tone carried both curiosity and unease.
"We all like Boruto," Sarada said bluntly, without hesitation or embarrassment.
"Ah—Sarada, you…"
Even though Sakura had half-expected it, hearing it said so boldly still made her freeze for a moment.
"Does Sasuke know about this in the future?" she whispered under her breath.
"Dad knows," Sarada replied calmly. "He didn't say anything."
Across the field, Sasuke's Sharingan narrowed as he looked at Boruto. For some reason, I have this strange urge to break his legs… Why is that? he thought coldly.
"Hmph. An overconfident fool," Madara sneered at Hiruzen.
Hiruzen ignored the taunt, his eyes calmly studying Madara's movements.
"Monkey, be careful," Hashirama's voice called out weakly from where he was pinned beneath the black rods.
"Madara has mastered an invisible clone. It's stealthy—even Sage Mode can't sense it!"
Hashirama analyzed Limbo that fast? Madara thought. But it doesn't matter. Even if they know, it changes nothing.
An invisible clone that even the First Hokage couldn't detect—Hiruzen's heart tightened.
"Shadow Clone Jutsu!"
In a puff of smoke, four identical clones appeared beside him, forming an encirclement.
"Five Elements: Great Bullet Technique!"
Each clone unleashed a barrage of elemental ninjutsu—fire, wind, lightning, earth, and water—merging into a massive explosion of chakra that surged toward Madara.
"To deal with you, I don't even need Limbo!" Madara said disdainfully.
"Susanoo!"
The colossal spectral warrior formed instantly, its arms sweeping through the air, easily dispersing Hiruzen's attacks like they were child's play.
The clash ended quickly—Hiruzen's jutsu shattered, and before long, Madara's black rod pierced his body, pinning him to the ground beside Hashirama.
Madara's hand clamped around Hiruzen's neck, and with effortless strength, he tossed him aside.
"Sorry, First Hokage," Hiruzen wheezed, "I lost."
Hashirama turned his head slightly, smiling faintly despite his injuries. "You don't need to apologize, Hiruzen. You did your best."
Madara looked down at them both, his eyes filled with contempt. "Hmph. Hokage, what worthless talk about the Will of Fire."
He turned to the barrier edge, his aura flaring. "Who else?" he demanded, his voice booming through the battlefield.
A murmur spread among the ranks of the Shinobi Alliance.
"Damn it, he's too arrogant! Are we really out of people to fight?"
But the words rang hollow. Despair hung heavy. Even the First and Third Hokage had fallen—who could possibly defeat Uchiha Madara?
Meanwhile, in the massive crater, Obito lay sprawled on the Ten-Tails' head.
He had prepared himself to die after using the Outer Path: Samsara of Heavenly Life Technique, but was unexpectedly saved by White Zetsu—Tobi.
He stared up at the bright moon, Rin's gentle smile flashing through his mind.
"Rin… have I really lost?" he whispered bitterly.
But even now, Obito refused to surrender. His body twisted unnaturally—and suddenly vanished from the Ten-Tails' crown.
When he reappeared, his left eye glowed once again with the Rinnegan.
His hands formed rapid seals as the Ten-Tails beneath him began to convulse violently, its massive body shrinking and surging toward him.
The air crackled as immense chakra flooded into his body.
"The Ten-Tails… is he making himself its Jinchuriki?" one ninja gasped in disbelief.
Madara's eyes narrowed. "Heh. I could stop him right now—but let's see how powerful the Ten-Tails Jinchuriki truly is."
A huge white sphere formed around Obito, hovering in midair as the Ten-Tails completely merged with him.
Cracks began to spiderweb across the sphere's surface, glowing with blinding light before it shattered into countless fragments.
From within emerged Obito—reborn.
His skin was pale white, a Rinnegan mark glowing behind him, five black spikes extending from his back, and nine tomoe forming a circle upon it.
The birth of the Six Paths Obito had begun.
