Naruto and the others had been so distracted by the Second Hokage's ridiculous dancing and the intense battle inside the barrier that they'd momentarily forgotten about the Ten-Tails' situation.
"Obito… he's become the Ten-Tails' Jinchuriki," Boruto murmured, his eyes narrowing as he turned toward the surge of divine energy.
In the next instant, Obito rose into the sky, hovering above the battlefield. Behind him, nine black Truth-Seeking Orbs slowly appeared, swirling like planets around a new god.
His expression was cold, almost emotionless, as his gaze swept across the Ninja Allied Forces—before finally stopping on Naruto.
Has this guy not been corrupted by the Ten-Tails' will? Boruto wondered silently.
In the original timeline, Obito was supposed to absorb the fourth-stage Ten-Tails. After becoming its Jinchuriki, he struggled fiercely against the beast's consciousness for control.
But now… it seemed he had only absorbed the third-stage Ten-Tails—and astonishingly, he had managed to control its will completely.
So this is the power of the Ten-Tails' Jinchuriki…
Madara, standing nearby, studied him carefully. For a moment, he imagined taking that power for himself—but after a long pause, he sighed and shook his head.
"I still wouldn't be able to beat him," he admitted bitterly.
Then, with a casual flick of his wrist, the black rods that had pinned Hashirama and Hiruzen vanished, freeing them both.
"This Chakra…" Hashirama said gravely, stepping up beside Madara. "Honestly, this guy's power surpasses even mine."
Madara smirked. "Oh? So you're admitting I'm stronger than you?"
Hashirama smiled faintly. "Yes, Madara. You're stronger too."
"Obito! Surrender! You can't win this war!" Kakashi shouted up at the floating figure.
"Kakashi," Obito replied coolly, "I am now the second Sage of Six Paths. This time… I will never lose again!"
"Obito?!" Minato's eyes widened. "That's… Obito?"
"Yes," Kakashi said grimly. "This entire war—everything—was orchestrated by him. Even the Nine-Tails attack, years ago."
"What?!" Minato's voice trembled. "Obito, you once said you wanted to be Hokage! Why would you do all this?"
Obito sneered. "Trying to lecture me now? Isn't it a little too late, sensei? You failed to recognize your own student. Some Hokage you are."
Boruto slowly ascended into the air, his gaze fixed on Obito.
"Height increased to 1.8 meters, voice copied from Madara, and wrapped up like a chakra dumpling," he said mockingly. "And you're blaming your teacher for not recognizing you?"
Obito's eyes narrowed. "You… that brat from earlier? You said you'd deal with me before, didn't you? Well, now you can't."
Boruto laughed softly. "Ha. Six Paths, huh?"
"What are you laughing at?" Obito demanded.
"I'm laughing because you're as weak as a Six Paths," Boruto said coldly.
Before Obito could even respond, Boruto vanished.
Whoosh!
In an instant, he appeared right in front of Obito and threw a punch. The air around his fist screamed from the friction—white shockwaves bursting outward like a cannon blast.
"So fast!" Obito's pupils constricted, but he didn't panic. After all, with his Kamui intangibility and the Ten-Tails' power, he believed himself invincible.
But he was wrong.
His Kamui—his proudest defense—had become completely useless after merging with the Ten-Tails.
Boom!
Boruto's punch connected squarely with his chest, sending him hurtling across the battlefield like a meteor.
He tore through mountain after mountain, explosions booming one after another as debris and dust filled the sky.
Everyone in the Allied Forces froze, speechless.
"My Kamui… isn't working? Is it because of the Ten-Tails?" Obito coughed blood, disbelief in his voice.
He had thought himself unstoppable—yet Boruto's single punch had nearly destroyed him.
"As weak as a Six Paths," Boruto repeated, his tone dripping with disdain.
Only now did Obito truly understand what Boruto had meant.
"Can't use Kamui anymore?" Madara murmured, watching the spectacle. His expression darkened slightly.
He had expected Obito, as a Ten-Tails Jinchuriki with Kamui, to at least hold his own against Boruto—but now it was clear that even that hope was futile.
"This brat… is he really that strong?" he muttered.
Nearby, Tobirama—finally freed from Boruto's control—stared at the sky in stunned silence. "Who exactly is this kid…?"
Obito, battered and gasping, looked up at Boruto, who hovered calmly above him.
"Who… are you?" he asked weakly.
"My name is Boruto Uzumaki," came the cold reply.
"Uzumaki?" Obito froze. "You mean… could you be—"
Boruto's eyes sharpened. "This punch is for my grandpa. Take it well. Kamui can't phase through regret."
In a flash, he appeared again, his fist wrapped in a storm of compressed white air. The space around him distorted from the pressure.
Seeing this, Obito quickly commanded his Truth-Seeking Balls to form a protective sphere around him—a black, absolute defense.
Boom!
The impact was apocalyptic.
A blinding light swallowed the sky as a massive shockwave erupted outward, tearing across the land. The Truth-Seeking shield cracked under the force—then shattered completely.
"What?!" Obito's voice rang out, filled with disbelief.
Boruto's fist slammed into him again, this time sending him plummeting like a comet.
BOOM!
He hit the ground with such force that the earth itself fractured, leaving behind a massive crater that swallowed the surrounding terrain.
Boruto descended slowly, his expression ice-cold.
"This punch," he said quietly, staring down at the broken Obito below, "is for my grandma."
