As Uchiha Madara's eyes slowly closed, the life force of one of history's greatest heroes finally faded away.
Bathed in the soft moonlight, his body appeared at peace — as though all grudges, pain, and ambition had vanished with his final breath, dissolving into nothingness.
Senju Hashirama sighed quietly.
Though Madara's ideals had always clashed with his own, both of them had fought for their beliefs — until the very end.
From above, Boruto Uzumaki descended slowly, landing before Madara's still body.
He crouched, placing his hand over Madara's closed eyes. With careful precision, Boruto removed Madara's Rinnegan and sealed them inside a special container.
Hashirama silently watched, saying nothing.
"Uchiha Madara is dead… we won," someone murmured.
A cheer erupted across the battlefield, echoing through the night sky — yet beneath that cheer was a weight none could ignore.
This war had claimed too many lives.
Even in victory, their hearts were heavy with loss and sorrow.
The cruelty of battle had shown them too many farewells.
No victory could erase the pain of those who had fallen.
Meanwhile, deep within Naruto and Sasuke's shared consciousness, a very different scene unfolded.
At first, Naruto thought Kurama had summoned him into his mindscape, but that wasn't the case.
Instead, an old man floated before him — his back turned, radiating calm power.
Naruto blinked in confusion. "Uh… who are you, old man?"
The figure turned, smiling warmly.
"My name is Hagoromo. In this world, you may know me as the Sage of Six Paths."
Naruto's eyes widened. "Wait — that Sage of Six Paths!?"
Hagoromo nodded gently. "Indeed. And you, Naruto Uzumaki, are the reincarnation of Asura."
He then recounted the history of Kaguya Ōtsutsuki, the origin of chakra, and the endless cycle between Indra and Asura.
"I didn't expect," Hagoromo said, his tone thoughtful, "that your future son would travel to this era — and prevent Madara from becoming the Ten-Tails' Jinchūriki, avoiding Kaguya's resurrection."
Naruto scratched his head and laughed sheepishly.
"Hehehe… I didn't expect my future kid to be that strong either."
Hagoromo smiled faintly. "Originally, my plan was for Kaguya to return. Then, I would entrust you and Sasuke with the power to seal her away once more. But it seems that is no longer necessary."
He paused, then added, "Still, I must grant you both my power."
Naruto blinked. "Wait, you're giving us power?"
Hagoromo nodded. "Yes. Your son, Boruto, is an unpredictable variable. His strength rivals even Kaguya's… but he lacks her experience — and that imbalance could one day bring new danger to the world."
Naruto's expression fell. "No way! My son would never destroy the world!"
"That is only a possibility," the Sage reassured him. "But if it ever happens… I hope you and Sasuke will guide him back to the right path."
He extended his hand.
"Now — let the feud between Indra and Asura finally end with you two."
Naruto and Sasuke each reached out in their own mindscapes, their hands clasping the Sage's.
Outside, the world began to tremble.
Chakra from the One-Tail through the Eight-Tails surged toward Naruto — merging into him like rivers of blue light.
At the same time, Sasuke's Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan shifted, transforming into a Six-Tomoe Rinnegan glowing with intense violet energy.
Kakashi noticed the change and frowned.
"Naruto, what just happened? It looked like all the Tailed Beasts' chakra flowed into you."
Naruto didn't respond at first — his body now radiating immense power.
He had entered Six Paths Sage Mode.
Golden chakra cloaked him like divine armor.
He wore black underclothes beneath a radiant, golden coat of energy.
A staff formed in his hand; Truth-Seeking Balls orbited behind him; his eyes gleamed with cross-shaped pupils framed by markings of power.
A six-tomoe symbol shone on his chest.
Boruto looked at the transformed Naruto and Sasuke and couldn't help but smirk.
"Seriously? They're not even pretending anymore — just going all out, huh?"
Naruto turned toward Sasuke; Sasuke met his gaze.
Neither spoke — they simply walked forward together, closing in on Boruto.
Boruto raised a brow.
"Wait, what's this? You two planning to treat me like you treated Six Paths Madara?"
Hashirama, watching from afar, gasped.
"Sasuke… his eyes — those are the same as Madara's!"
Naruto's voice was calm. "Boruto, what are you planning to do now?"
Boruto shrugged. "Me? I'm heading back to my own timeline."
Sasuke frowned. "And if you don't?"
Boruto grinned. "What, are you two gonna gang up on me?"
Naruto sighed. "No. But the old Sage is worried you might pose a threat to the Ninja World."
Boruto waved dismissively. "Please. I'm not interested in threatening the Ninja World. I only threaten the Ōtsutsuki."
Sasuke's eyes narrowed. "Ōtsutsuki…?"
"Yeah," Boruto said seriously. "In the future, Kaguya's clan will descend on this world. They'll plant the God Tree and try to destroy everything. But that's still far off — you've got time."
Naruto frowned. "So all this power from the Sage… wasn't even needed?"
Sasuke, however, smirked impatiently.
"Enough talking. Naruto — let's fight."
Within the Six Red Yang Formation that Boruto had set up, Naruto and Sasuke clashed.
Their fists and jutsu collided with the force of gods, shockwaves ripping through the sky.
Boruto, meanwhile, had made himself comfortable. With a lazy flick of his prayer beads, he conjured a sofa out of thin air and sat down to watch the chaos.
"Boruto," called Sumire Kakei, walking over with Sarada Uchiha, "why did your dad and Sarada's dad suddenly start fighting?"
Boruto chuckled. "It's a fated duel. Just sit and enjoy the show."
He patted both sides of the sofa with a grin. "Plenty of room."
Sumire hesitated. "Isn't this… kinda inappropriate? Everyone's watching."
She glanced around nervously — but most of the Allied Shinobi Forces were completely focused on the battle, cheering as Naruto and Sasuke's blows lit up the barrier like fireworks.
Boruto didn't care at all. He snapped his fingers, and both girls were gently pulled toward him by an invisible force.
"See?" Boruto said smugly. "Now we can watch in peace."
Sumire blushed but didn't resist, settling quietly at his side.
Sarada, used to Boruto's antics by now, just smiled and turned her eyes back to the battle.
"Oh right," Sumire said suddenly, pointing off to the side.
"Boruto — could you please tell Lord Tobirama to stop dancing?"
Boruto blinked, then facepalmed.
"Oh damn… I totally forgot. The Second Hokage's been dancing for half a day. My bad, Sumire."
He snapped his fingers again.
Tobirama immediately froze, panting heavily and glaring daggers at Boruto.
Seeing Boruto lounging with a girl on each side, Tobirama's eye twitched in fury.
But knowing Boruto's power, he swallowed his anger — muttering to himself, This kid is pure evil…
Inside the barrier, Sasuke — mid-battle — caught sight of Sarada leaning against Boruto.
His entire body froze. Then his expression darkened.
"Oh, hell no," he growled, his chakra flaring. "Now I really feel like breaking his legs!"
Rage exploded through him as his Complete Body Susanoo manifested instantly, towering over the battlefield.
Naruto grinned, matching him with his Nine-Tails Chakra Mode.
The collision of their powers split the air — golden and violet light tearing the formation apart.
The battle between Naruto and Sasuke reached a level so fierce that even the gods watching might have held their breath.
