Chapter 53 - Chapter 53: Trap

Olbia Airport.

It was past eight in the evening; the black velvet-like sky had completely descended upon the world, adorned with stars.

Olbia, this deep harbor, had fully turned to a dark page, sinking into a long-forgotten dream.

Olbia Airport was still bustling with many people. Inside the terminal, huge incandescent lights illuminated the polished floor, making it as bright as day.

The sky outside was pitch black.

Like a stage.

The young man sat inside a globally renowned fast-food chain, looking at the dozens of stationary airplanes outside the massive floor-to-ceiling windows. Everything beyond the glass was tinged with blue-gray.

He held a mobile phone to his ear.

"Boss, I've been waiting for a long time as you requested, but the Assassination Team hasn't arrived yet," he said cautiously.

His pink bangs quietly covered his phone, and he occasionally glanced outside.

"You've done very well, my Torbio." The young man heard his Boss's voice and couldn't help but feel relieved. That reassuring feeling provided the highest solace to his lonely and sensitive heart.

"Are you sure the Assassination Team hasn't come?" The Boss's voice sounded very mature. Torbio always firmly believed that he was the Boss's most capable assistant. Although he was very young, the Boss trusted him the most!

"I arrived at seven, and I haven't seen them since then."

The Boss was silent for a moment. Torbio thought to himself, did he miss something? But he really hadn't seen any strange planes land.

It was impossible for the Assassination Team's small planes to land casually at the airport. Once they landed, it would definitely cause chaos, at least security personnel would check. The Assassination Team would take action to get rid of these security personnel completely, and then leave the airport.

But there wasn't anything!

Torbio repeatedly checked his memories, he absolutely couldn't disappoint the Boss.

He held his phone, silently waiting for the Boss's command.

"Squalo, Korne, have they all arrived?" The Boss's voice reached Torbio's ears. He quickly looked towards the back of the airport, where two men were intimately together.

"Boss, I see Squalo and Tiziano, and I just saw Carlson Blountry, whom you sent, and Meg. They've all arrived. I don't know where Korne has run off to."

Torbio quickly reported to his Boss, racking his brain. He had followed the Boss for many years. These people were all the Boss's Bodyguard Team, very strong. With the ambush set, they were just waiting for the Assassination Team to take the bait.

"Alright, my Torbio, don't worry, just wait a little longer. The information Bucciarati provided should be correct."

Torbio nodded repeatedly, then remembered the Boss couldn't see him nodding, so he said "good" repeatedly.

"Bucciarati is not the kind of person to get false information." There was some hesitation in the Boss's tone. Hearing this, Torbio felt a little sad. Recently, the Boss kept bringing up Bucciarati.

"My Torbio, I will contact Bucciarati again." The Boss hesitated for a moment and said, "In half an hour, if the enemy still hasn't arrived, go to an unmanned place and I will come to find you."

"Ah, Boss!" Torbio exclaimed in surprise, then quickly covered his mouth, cautiously looking around, afraid of being discovered. Then he lowered his voice and said, "You're coming in person?!"

"Yes, although I already have all the information on the Assassination Team, and all the Bodyguard Team members have arrived, there is still someone I care about very much."

"Who is it?" Torbio asked, but then regretted it, he shouldn't ask the Boss so many questions.

"You'll know then, my lovely Torbio, just wait patiently." With that, the Boss hung up the phone directly.

The Boss hung up before he finished speaking. He thought, the Boss must understand me, after all, everything I was going to say next would be nonsense. Now is a critical time, and I can't talk too much nonsense with the Boss.

But just now the Boss called me, my lovely Torbio!

Torbio put down his phone, then showed a happy smile. Immediately, he seriously stared at the airport outside, not missing a single plane.

He had golden-yellow eyes, a few freckles on his cheeks, and his pink hair was a bit long. Compared to peers like Joffrey or Giorno, he was really a bit thin and weak.

But he had a cuteness that no one else had, the adorable appearance of a teenager.

"Sir."

A sweet-voiced flight attendant walked over, startling Torbio. Torbio scratched his head with a fake smile, nervously asking, "Is something wrong?"

The attendant smiled and said, "Sir, I just saw that your ice cream got on your clothes, so I came to remind you."

"Huh? What ice cream?"

"The one in your hand," the attendant said with a smile.

Torbio was a bit strange, looking at his hand, there was nothing but his phone, right?

So he awkwardly said to the attendant, "Sorry! I used your phone here."

Torbio quickly handed him the phone.

However, the attendant looked surprised. Torbio didn't know what mistake he had made, then he directly placed the phone on the attendant's tray.

The attendant was stunned for a moment, then said, "You're quite the joker," and hurried away.

Torbio tilted his head but didn't pay attention. He turned to look at the helipad, and as he did, he noticed his shoulder was covered in ice cream.

"Huh? When did that happen?"
