Chapter 56 - Chapter 57: Glory Be With You

Tavolara Island is a small island in northeastern Sardinia, Italy, south of Olbia Bay, belonging to the province of Olbia-Tempio.

This island can only be seen as a tiny limestone protrusion.

It is only five kilometers long, one kilometer wide, and has an area of only 5.9 square kilometers, which is slightly smaller than Johnson Joffrey's university in his previous life.

At seven or eight in the evening, the island's only small restaurant began to fall into a quiet darkness. Only this restaurant on the small island had electricity.

He absentmindedly cast his gaze towards the window of the small restaurant, hearing the voices of his companions talking. They were the only customers here. Johnson Joffrey saw the dark Monte Carlo Cannone mountain, the highest peak on this island, only 565 meters.

Tavolara Island is just a small transit point for fishermen and sailors, with only a few households, all engaged in supplying the sailors. On this island, there is only this one summer restaurant.

The eight members of the Assassination Team were the only guests in the restaurant, sitting by the window.

"What's our next step?" Illuso asked, "Without transportation."

Everyone fell silent. Illuso suddenly got angry and pulled the absentminded Johnson over.

"Are you a transportation killer?!"

Melone sighed, dissatisfied, and said, "It wasn't Johnson who blew up the plane. He didn't flush... ahem... and he saved Pesci's life."

You were going to say he didn't flush the toilet, right?

Johnson Joffrey had always been a man of few words, and thanks to the "Best Villain Charm Unlimited" skill, his silence always gave people the impression that he was a ruthless person who didn't waste words.

However, the members of the Assassination Team were not petty individuals; they were strong, so Johnson's skill had little impact on them, though there was still some effect. But as time went on, this skill seemed to produce antibodies, or perhaps it wasn't antibodies, but rather Johnson's occasional idiotic behavior that exposed him.

They increasingly realized that Johnson was just a somewhat precocious child who happened to look fierce.

In truth, he was just a child who couldn't speak italian and had suddenly left his hometown.

After all, only a foolish child would seriously fail to flush the toilet and then awkwardly try to prevent his companions from going to the restroom.

Moreover, it was indeed Johnson's actions that saved Pesci's life.

Since they were all companions, groundless suspicion was better left unsaid.

Therefore, Illuso's "Vehicle Killer" was just a playful jab at Johnson, especially since Illuso was the one with the sharpest tongue and loved to bully Pesci the most.

"Johnson's incident reminds me of a joke!" Ghiaccio suddenly said excitedly. "If you're visiting the house of a girl you like, and after pooping in the toilet, you find the flush is broken, what would you do?"

"Ew, you're disgusting," Melone said.

Formaggio tilted his head in thought. "Just tell her!"

"Do you have any brains? Then she'd see your poop!" Ghiaccio said to Formaggio as if he were looking at an imbecile.

Formaggio was about to speak again.

"Enough," Risotto suddenly interjected, his voice calm but full of power, saying with immense weight, "Now is not the time for us to relax to this extent."

The Assassination Team was indeed a bit too relaxed now. The high-intensity attacks from this morning had been almost constant, and it had been one or two hours since they got off the plane, with no enemies. It felt a bit unaccustomed.

Currently, the Assassination Team was somewhat bewildered; they only knew they had come to Sardinia, but they had no idea what to do after arriving in Sardinia.

Johnson Joffrey was racking his brain, trying to figure out how to tell them about the Boss's daughter's existence without seeming out of place.

There was absolutely no way. The Boss had already obtained all their information, and it was even possible that he had already taken Trish away.

Then their reason for coming to Sardinia would also be gone.

This was Johnson's biggest headache. Damn it, I might as well just say it! Just say I can foresee things!

They can believe it or not, otherwise, keeping this information is useless. If I end up knowing everything but sacrificing the lives and opportunities of the entire team, then it will truly be all my responsibility.

Johnson weighed his words, preparing to speak. He would just say he knew about Trish, and he might as well mention Diavolo too. After today's life-and-death situations, they would surely be suspicious of him, but it was impossible for them to completely disbelieve him.

Anyway, he wasn't harming them. At that time, he would just refuse to say how he knew the information. What could they do to him? Risotto is his uncle!

If that didn't work, he would continue to make up stories, for example, "This is my deceased mother's last wish," or if all else failed, bring up DIO, with no one to refute him.

Hesitation leads to defeat!

Johnson took a deep breath, and just as he opened his mouth—

"Melone, try to track down some intelligence," Risotto said, looking at Melone.

Melone nodded, opened his laptop, and skillfully typed on the keyboard, but then his face suddenly darkened, and he cursed under his breath.

"The signal here is terrible," Melone said. "I'm going outside to find some signal." So he took his laptop and went out.

The others were either drinking beer or milk.

Johnson thought, Melone is the only one here who is clear-headed and unbiased towards me; sometimes, he seems to be able to assist me as well.

Thus, his mustered courage dissipated.

But!

Hesitation leads to defeat!

Just as Johnson was about to speak, Risotto, as if remembering something, said to Johnson: "It's problematic for Melone to go out alone, Johnson, you should follow him. Although this island is remote, you still need to be careful not to be discovered by enemies."

"Do not give the enemy any openings; slay them invisibly."

"..."

"What's wrong? Didn't you understand?" Risotto looked at Johnson somewhat sternly. Johnson had no choice but to stand up and go find Melone.

Prosciutto watched Johnson Joffrey's back. He was now extremely suspicious of Johnson Joffrey, but there was nothing he could do. No one else suspected Johnson; instead, they believed Johnson holding back Pesci had actually saved Pesci's life.

However, Prosciutto always paid close attention to his intuition. If Johnson was truly strange, what if Melone was harmed?

"Pesci, you go too." Prosciutto decided, "If you encounter danger, the three of you protect yourselves well."

"Huh?" Pesci looked at Prosciutto in surprise, "B-b-b-boss?"

Pesci was generally kinder. As for risking his life, it wasn't that he didn't dare, but he was more afraid of Johnson Joffrey. However, since it was his boss's command, he went directly.

He put down the milk in his hand, got up from his seat, and walked out the door with trepidation.

"Pesci!"

Hearing his boss's familiar call, he immediately turned back. Prosciutto sat motionless in his chair, his cold facial features exuding a blade-like ruthlessness, and his golden hair shone with noble sharpness.

He raised his azure eyes, filled with majesty and solemnity.

"Don't be afraid, Pesci, I am always watching you."

"Glory be with you."

I have a friend recommendation. "I, Anbu Ren, the Head of Villains" is a good JOJO fanfiction written by a good author. It mainly tells the story of Anbu Ren transmigrating into the plot of Jo4. I currently see the protagonist possessing Kira Yoshikage's body, which is a good idea.

The author is a silly loli.
