Meanwhile, Jimmy throws his backpack on the floor next to the bedside table before collapsing on his bed, falling asleep before his body even touches the mattress.
It was 3:12 PM when he fell asleep. And in the blink of an eye, ten hours pass and Jimmy naturally wakes up at 1:20 AM, in the darkness of his room.
Getting up with a dry mouth, Jimmy first turns on the bedroom light before grabbing his keys and going out to get something to eat and drink.
After stopping by the bathroom, Jimmy visits his food supplier before going back to his room, locking the door behind him.
After killing his thirst and hunger, he stretches a little before taking off his shirt and starting to work out.
One hour later, he finishes, takes a shower, changes clothes, and then sits at his room's desk to continue drawing One Piece, completely refreshed.
Jimmy's plan when making One Piece is to release it by sagas, with the first book containing the East Blue saga entirely, and the following books following that same system.
At the moment, he had the sketches of seventeen pages ready; the East Blue saga contained, roughly, almost two thousand pages.
So, taking into account that he was adding scenes, mainly in the fights, which were making them practically like fluid animations, well, the number of pages he would have in the end would be even greater than expected.
At 6:00 AM, four hours after Jimmy sat down at the desk to work, he gets up to get ready for the day's classes, his count of sketched pages having increased to thirty.
After putting on his uniform and organizing his backpack with the books he will need for the day, Jimmy leaves the dorm for another day of classes.
Hours then pass, and Jimmy finds himself once again free for the rest of the day. Today, he had attended Biology, Geography, Art, and Mechanics classes, in that order, and had done very well in all of them.
Since it was still only 2:30 PM, Jimmy decides to go see the hobo Peter to give him the two transistors he collected.
Arriving quickly at the parking lot, Jimmy passes the abandoned bus and reaches the place where old man Peter lives.
The man was so immersed in soldering some components on an old circuit board that he didn't even notice Jimmy's arrival.
"How are you doing, old man? I brought two transistors. I couldn't come yesterday because I was dying of sleep!", seeing that old man Peter hadn't even noticed his presence, Jimmy says, calling his attention.
"Huh? Ah, it's you! I thought it was mommy's little boys from yesterday", turning his gaze to the source of the voice, old man Peter says upon noticing it's only Jimmy.
"Hm, so Gary and Pete really came to bother you?", Jimmy asks, raising an eyebrow. Those two idiots really came to torment the hobo.
"You know them?", old man Peter asks as he gets up to stretch his legs.
"Pete is my friend, but Gary I'm not so sure about!", Jimmy says, not really knowing if Gary could be considered his friend at that moment, at most, the two hung out together.
"Well, the taller one of them came here as if he owned the place, insulting me and talking a bunch of shit about you! So I had to stamp his face with my fist, three times to make sure I stamped it properly", old man Peter says, narrating the events of the previous day.
He had known Jimmy for only two days, but he liked the boy enough to beat someone up if they spoke shit about him.
"Won't that cause trouble for you?", Jimmy asks curiously.
"It's not the first time some stupid kid comes here causing trouble just to get punched in the face", shrugging, old man Peter says, not at all worried about the 'possible consequences' of hitting a student.
"Alright then, if you say it's fine", Jimmy says; if the old man wasn't worried, he wouldn't bother to worry in his place.
"Anyway, why were you sleepy yesterday? Did you stay up all night?", changing the subject, old man Peter asks, curious.
"Yeah, I spent the night with a girl!", Jimmy replies, not caring about bringing up the subject. It wasn't like he was going to talk about Christy or give details of his night to the hobo.
"Hahaha, this is big stuff, grab two beers from the mini-fridge, we have to drink to celebrate!", laughing loudly, old man Peter says, a smile spreading across his face.
"Sure, but it's not like it's a big event, it's not my first time", shrugging, Jimmy says as he goes to the mini-fridge and grabs two beers.
"Doesn't matter! We're men, fucking is always a good reason to celebrate", old man Peter says with a smile; the truth is, he wanted to drink a beer, and this was a good excuse.
"A dumb reason... here!", rolling his eyes, Jimmy says before opening the two bottles and handing one to old man Peter.
"It's still a valid reason!", grabbing the beer, old man Peter says before taking a sip.
"Urgh, I don't think I'll ever get used to the bad taste of this beer!", taking a sip from his bottle, Jimmy grumbles in disgust as he sits on a crate.
"A brat and a hobo sharing a shitty-tasting cheap beer while talking about fucking nothing! Is there a better situation to be in?", letting out a depressive laugh, old man Peter comments as he closes his eyes and takes another sip from his bottle.
"At least the beer is cheap", letting out an amused huff, Jimmy comments, taking another sip.
The two then continue talking for a while about any bullshit that comes to their minds while sharing a beer, forming an unusual friendship.
"Hey, you said you brought two transistors, right?", sitting on a crate, old man Peter asks, changing the subject to something that really interests him.
"That's right, here!", opening his backpack, Jimmy hands the two transistors to old man Peter.
"Alright, throw your backpack in that corner, it's time for class! I'll teach you how to kill any shit that appears in your path in endless different ways!", putting the two transistors aside, old man Peter says with a predatory smile as he stands up.

(AN: 1,069 Words)
Quick explanation of why the chapter has only a thousand words: Well, unfortunately, this site prefers to reward you for frequency rather than anything else. The thing is, I always write chapters averaging around two thousand words each, and it's impossible for me to maintain a 'frequency' without splitting the chapters in half. So, I decided to do the following: we'll keep the previous agreement. If you guys get this fic into the top fifty of the ranking and keep it there at least, I promise to post two full chapters per week, divided into four smaller chapters to maintain a minimum frequency.
Thank you for reading another chapter!
