Chapter 108 - Chapter 107: Genjutsu – Whatever You Want Will Come True

Kurenai Yuhi had just returned from her mission.

Without waiting for Itsuki to speak, she walked over to him on her own.

Yakumo had always been a concern for her.

Now that she had free time, she wanted Itsuki to take a look at the girl's condition.

And with Tsunade back in the village as well, they could approach it from two angles.

Maybe Yakumo's problem could truly be solved this time.

Since they had agreed to continue training, Tsunade had no choice but to spare one day and accompany them.

The next day, Itsuki asked Kurenai to go ahead while he took Yakumo to the mountain to see the scenery.

Because of her frail health, Yakumo had been living in Satomi Mountain Villa on the outskirts of Konoha.

ANBU operatives guarded the place at all times, and she rarely had the chance to leave.

Even if she did, she couldn't go far, and she was always watched.

Over time, Yakumo — who already carried psychological burdens — grew even gloomier.

Itsuki's plan was to bring her out, ease her mood, and create a spark of hope.

"Kurenai-sensei, Kurenai-sensei! I just thought of a really amazing technique!"

While Kurenai was guiding Yakumo on a gentle walk through the mountain path, Itsuki came running over, face beaming with excitement like a mischievous child.

Kurenai blinked in mild surprise but quickly understood.

He must have had his own idea in mind. She didn't expose him, only turned on the [Live Broadcast] function in the Fabrication System's chat group.

Kurenai said with a smile, "Itsuki, sensei still has things to do."

"Sensei… who is this person?" Yakumo, walking beside her, lifted her tired eyes.

The girl had brown hair and wore a pink kimono. Her skin was pale as snow, her expression lifeless.

Her eyes were cold, dull, and seemed unable to register joy or sadness — like a puppet with no emotions.

She looked so fragile, like even a breeze might topple her.

But when she noticed Itsuki's cheerful approach, a faint flicker of curiosity passed through her gaze.

She didn't meet many people, so the liveliness he carried felt like a breath of fresh air.

"Huh? There's someone else here?" Itsuki pretended to be surprised.

He wiped his palms on his pants, then extended a hand toward Yakumo with a bright grin.

"Hello, my name is Itsuki. I've been learning genjutsu under Kurenai-sensei recently."

"You called her sensei too? Then… you're also Kurenai-sensei's student?" Yakumo hesitated.

"That makes us classmates, right? Let's get along," Itsuki's sunny, boyish tone carried no malice.

"…Yakumo." She finally placed her hand lightly in his, but pulled back almost instantly.

"Yakumo? That's a beautiful name." Itsuki smiled warmly. "Since you're older than me, I'll call you Sister Yakumo from now on. It feels more natural that way."

Yakumo's lips twitched, unsure how to react.

At the same time, in the Itsuki harem chat group, the girls were buzzing.

[Ino Yamanaka: Eh? Kurenai-sensei's live streaming at this time?]

[Sakura Haruno: Who's that girl? She looks delicate…]

[Anko Mitarashi: Oh, that's Kurama Yakumo. I know a bit about her situation.]

[Tsunade: Kurenai mentioned her briefly at dinner yesterday.]

Kurenai gently introduced Itsuki. "Yakumo, Itsuki only started studying genjutsu a few days ago. But his talent is extraordinary. He's already mastered most of the techniques I know."

She then looked at Itsuki curiously. "Itsuki, didn't you say you created a new technique? Did you really develop one yourself?"

"This one's a little… special. I'm not even sure if it counts as a genjutsu. That's why I wanted to ask Kurenai-sensei to test it." Itsuki scratched his cheek, looking a bit embarrassed.

Kurenai smiled patiently. "Alright, Itsuki. sensei will—"

Before she could finish, Yakumo suddenly interrupted.

"…I want to see it."

Kurenai blinked. Yakumo? Interested?

Yakumo longed to be a shinobi, but her body held her back.

Facing someone her age with such talent in genjutsu, she couldn't help but feel curious.

"Then go ahead. But be careful — don't hurt her," Kurenai said.

Yakumo added softly, "It's fine. I want to experience it."

Itsuki gave Kurenai a subtle wink, then clumsily formed a few hand seals.

"Here it comes. Behold—Genjutsu: Whatever You Want Will Come True!"

"…"

The corner of Kurenai's mouth twitched. What kind of childish name is that?

Itsuki almost wanted to cry. He really was trying his best here to cheer Yakumo up.

[Anko Mitarashi: Pfft! That's the dumbest name I've ever heard!]

[Ino Yamanaka: LOL I can't—]

[Tenten: Too cheesy!!]

[Sakura Haruno: Itsuki… you're unbelievable.]

Yakumo stared blankly, a row of question marks practically hovering above her head.

Yet, after a long pause… nothing happened.

Kurenai frowned slightly. "…Did you fail to cast it?"

Yakumo's face sank, her interest dying. But unconsciously, the corner of her mouth tugged upward.

Figures. I let myself expect something again. Foolish.

"No, no, I succeeded!" Itsuki insisted. "You're already inside my illusion."

"What?" Both Kurenai and Yakumo stiffened.

They scanned their surroundings quickly and realized it — they were indeed inside a genjutsu. But the effect…

They both turned to stare at Itsuki, utterly puzzled.

Itsuki rubbed his head sheepishly. "See, I made the illusion identical to reality. A perfect one-to-one copy. So you wouldn't notice you were trapped at all."

"Didn't you always teach me, sensei? Genjutsu's goal is to deceive the senses and create false reality. So if I just replicate reality exactly, wouldn't that make it impossible to notice?"

Kurenai was speechless. "Theoretically yes… but what's the point? Genjutsu is meant to mislead and incapacitate the enemy. If the world looks the same, how is this useful?"

Itsuki grinned. "Who said illusions have to be used for fighting?"

"And what exactly do you plan to do with this… 'Whatever You Want Will Come True'?" Kurenai almost laughed at the name again.

"Like this…" Itsuki quickly changed the hand seals. The world around them shifted.

The mountain forest dissolved into a radiant seashore.

Golden sand stretched across the beach, waves lapped gently at the shore, seagulls soared overhead, and the setting sun dyed the sky with brilliant colors.

Yakumo gasped, eyes widening. Her hands flew to her mouth.

For the first time in so long, raw emotion flickered in her dull eyes.

Kurenai's eyes softened with realization. So that's his aim…

Even she, who had traveled much of the shinobi world, was mesmerized by the breathtaking view.

For Yakumo — who had never left her villa — it was overwhelming.

Itsuki's fingers shifted again. The scenery changed.

The seashore melted into a dazzling festival street, bright lanterns, fireworks bursting in the night sky, the air alive with laughter.

Yakumo's breath caught.

"This… this is…!" Kurenai and Yakumo's faces both showed pure astonishment.

Meanwhile, even the group chat fell silent, members subconsciously pulled into the vivid illusion through the live broadcast.

For a moment, everyone was dazed.
