Having everyone in the room that was currently at the Academy, Andrei wanted to explain the situation that they were in and that they might be leaving the military sooner than later. He explained to them that there was a presence in the military that was trying to get to him whether it was military or something else he wasn't sure.

He told them about the new mission he received to expand the squad and that O's siblings were four of the potential members and their situation. He told them that he was only going to go himself and that he wanted the rest of them to continue to get better. There were many objections and he finally agreed to take four of them with him including O.
Andrei then pulled out the newest Epic Shield and handed it to Flen. The group was mesmerized by the design and audible gasps were made when Andrei first produced it to hand it to Flen. He explained what he had learned and that Flen would have to figure out the Fire abilities and if there were more than just the one for the other three.
The newest members of Death Squad had yet to receive a Blood Handle weapon so Andrei summoned the handles out of his inventory onto the table in front of them. He pulled out his own handle to show them that just wrapping their hands around the handle will activate it. The spear grew large in front of everyone in Andrei's hand; the newcomers were all shocked to see the massive spear which made a sparking electric pop noise when it finished its build. He then let go of it and it collapsed back in just as quickly as it appeared. He tossed the handle to Ashinat to see if it would produce a spear as well and it did not, it produced a trident. Andrei then pointed this out to them that the handles respond differently to each but the fact that it levels up as you use it.
The newcomers' eyes were all as big as they could get as they were all contemplating the information that Andrei just told them about the weird looking red handles on the table. They saw the spear turn into a trident and Ashinat could feel how powerful the trident was and without knowing it shot off a lightning bolt that was crimson red into the ceiling. They all were startled by the sudden attack and loud bang to the roof and then looking up they could see it made a massive hole.

Surany, Sophia, Mini, and O were all going to go with him to collect O's siblings. Andrei had been forwarded intel on their missions that supposedly have all gone south and Andrei is basically on a rescue mission. It is why he wanted to go by himself knowing he had all his pets plus Prince and LaLa to protect him. He even told Prince and LaLa to make sure the four of them are ok at all times.
They said their goodbye and headed to grab their equipment and whatever else they needed. Mini told Andrei to go and grab her clones so that she could have her full support. Andrei went to the third deck and found out she had made two more and so he added all four to his inventory.
The Goliath tab highlighted in his view and so he opened it up to see what was going on. The Mech section was now blinking as well so he clicked on that and it opened up the Mech tab he hadn't spent much time in and there were all the mechs assigned to Goliath. He could select any of the mechs and had multiple assignment options. Andrei could assign a mech to protect an individual, patrol an area, and many other tasks he wasn't previously aware of.
Andrei closed the tab and figured he would talk about it with Mini at some point but for now he was happy that he figured out more of Goliath. They all met on Deck 1 fully geared out and ready to take on whatever the first location threw at them.
Andrei touched the group and they ported to a planet known as "Junti" where the GFM did not have much authority. The only intel they had was that this planet was lawless and there were factions within the settlement around the portal that were at war with each other. Andrei quickly looked in each direction to see which was the exit as they didn't want to mingle. The exit was to the east of their location and he quickly directed them to the exit. They were closing in on the gate when a group of well geared men stepped out in their path and made them stop.
"See I don't remember being told that we were going to have guests today, do you remember cuz?" The man in the middle said to the man on his right. The one on his right didn't seem to be that bright of an individual with his response "No guests today boss!"
"So if we don't have guests that means you owe us for using our portal." The man in the middle said.
"What is this some kind of cheesy movie? You honestly think we are going to pay you anything? You and what army is going to collect?" Andrei responded with a growing impatience. He hadn't realized it but his anger was spilling out of him through his presence and a lot of people could feel it. The man in the middle realized he might have just barked up the wrong tree and changed gears quickly "No tax needs to be collected right now, just know you owe us!" as he stepped out of the way signaling to his group to do the same.
"I don't owe you shit, if you think you are ever going to get something from us it will be the death of you. Forget you ever saw us if you know what's best for you" Andrei was pissed and anyone within 50 yards of him could feel immense pressure causing anyone in that radius to flee. He continued to walk pissed off to the gate and the group was not stopped again. Andrei's mini-map had a yellow arrow leading out of the gate so the group followed Andrei.
They exited the gate and guards didn't say anything to them while Andrei was running possible responses in his head if they had anything to say but nothing happened. Surany let out Sunfire as soon as they left and Sunfire rose to great heights flying on a new planet taking in the sights. Andrei grabbed Surany and put her on his shoulders as she took over Sunfire's eyes. Andrei wanted to keep moving but also wanted any and all information Surany could get from her "Eagle Eyes" ability.
The direction that Andrei told her to look led Sunfire to spot what looked like a base off on its own. There were many buildings and multiple guard towers and automated defenses. Mini decided to check it out as well and flew up into the sky towards Sunfire. She came back down a minute later and confirmed that Surany was portraying. She also thought she could do something about the automated defenses which was music to Andrei's ears.
Andrei looked at O and knew he was going to stand out no matter what so stealth wasn't going to be an option, but taking out their defenses as quickly as possible was their best course of action. LaLa hopped out and jumped onto Sophia's shoulders and did a couple circles then rested on her shoulders. Andrei knew she would be safe so he told her to stay there and be ready if needed they would call on her but LaLa would keep her safe. Sophia felt a confirming purr from LaLa and she just smiled at Andrei.
Andrei then took off a speed none of them expected nor could see. O shouted "Wait up!" but Andrei was not in the mood as he wanted to make sure this place had no chance to retaliate. Mini had already gone ahead where she thought she could disable the defenses. Andrei through Lauren's ability told them his plan and O no longer felt left behind knowing that he was needed as soon as Mini disabled their defenses.
Mini gave the signal and O started running full speed, shaking the ground as he ran making it obvious that he was coming. Surany was now on the back of Sunfire and joined Mini in flight above, watching as the base could start to hear his steps coming closer. Andrei was just outside of the base on the far side from where O was running to and it's why he had taken off so quickly. The base started to stir and soldiers began pouring out of a building.
Mini was relaying all the happenings at the base to the group through the earpieces. She confirmed there were now over 100 soldiers and most of them were in good beast gear. O was leaping in the air and landing trying to make as much noise as possible while running at the base causing everyone's attention to be on him.
"Hey, look up at the sky!" O shouted at the base and many of the soldiers looked up and saw Mini and Surany flying above them. The girls waved down at the soldiers while some of them waved back. Those that waved back were smacked in the back of the head for being idiots. A shot was taken by one of the soldiers at Sunfire and the bird easily dodged it.
"It wasn't nice to shoot at them." Andrei called out from the middle of the base which caused all the soldiers to turn around immediately to see who was shouting from inside of their base.
"Intruder! Kill him!" one of the soldiers shouted out and those that had ranged weapons and abilities fired at Andrei. He was at too great a distance for any to get to him but they still tried. Andrei was only dodging but staying in the same area tempting them to join him in the middle of the base.
Above the ladies started attacking with Mini dropping a bomb in the center of the group of soldiers which took out over 20 of them. Surany pulled out her bow and started firing constantly at soldiers below as Sunfire dodged anything sent their way. O had finally made it to the base and he jumped over the fence they had around the base with ease and came crashing down on top of two soldiers smashing them with his weight. He grabbed both of their heads and slammed them into the ground just for good measure, not sure if he had killed them initially or not.
O then barreled into the main group of soldiers who were left and with his tail swinging in all directions his spiked poison was doing its number on the ones that were only getting nicked by the spikes. If they slowed down a Blood Arrow from above would easily hit them. Surany was concentrating on O's battle while Mini had gone to support Andrei. Andrei then pulled out her 4 clones and they fell into formation with her.
Andrei had his spear and shield out as the first soldier made it to him with a shield and curved sword similar to a scimitar but much thinner. The soldier swung at Andrei who blocked it and the reflection of the shield caused the soldier to spin exposing his backside for Andrei to simply stab him in the back of the head with his spear killing him instantly.
Two more soldiers had reached him with axes and both came at him at the same time from each side of him. Andrei's shield reflected the one and he was able to redirect the second axe with his spear. The three exchanged swings that were blocked and countered back and forth. Andrei gave them a smile then shot the one with a lightning bolt from the spear that hit the soldier's arm and blew it right off. He shot again and this time hit the neck of the soldier decapitating the soldier. The second one was in the middle of swinging down onto Andrei when a dark green laser came from above and sliced the soldier half from his right shoulder to his left hip.
Andrei looked up and saw Mini smiling down at him and then she took a couple bullets that deflected off her suit but caught her attention and put a serious look back on her face. She fired a green laser at the soldier that had shot her and it took off the soldier's leg which caused him to fall over screaming in pain. She finished him off with a small rocket that fired off of her shoulder exploding the body upon impact.
Andrei was now on the attack and started to go towards where O was fighting. He fired out "Lightning Bolt" which killed a soldier and knocked over two others. They started to get up but a meteor landed on them killing them instantly. Andrei summoned a "Sledgehammer of Lightning" and then leapt towards a group of 8 soldiers that were about to engage with O. He landed swinging down the sledgehammer and thought "Wind Hammer of Lightning with Wind Slash" and a massive amount of lightning then shot out of the explosion from the slam. The lightning pierced all the soldiers and killed them on the spot leaving holes in their bodies where the lightning had shot through.
Surany flew in lower and Sunfire landed on the shoulder of a soldier, its claws clamped down on the man's body. He screamed in pain but then his screams became garbled and his whole body then lit up in flames and Sunfire let go. Surany had never seen Sunfire do that but patted her on her head and said "Good girl!" Sunfire screeched a joyful screech and they lifted back up high above the battle to see where they were needed next.
Andrei assessed the final few soldiers were the best of who was left as their gear was all advanced with some epic pieces on one of the soldiers. Andrei figured that it was either the boss of the base or the best defender that they had left. Andrei still didn't know the extent of the base so he wasn't aware that this was a fraction of who was left.
The remaining 10 soldiers had all gathered together with two of them having shields and were good with them. They were all looking nervous as they had seen all their fellow soldiers get slaughtered. None of them knew who they were fighting or why they were fighting them but the fighting put them in this position.
"You see this big guy right here, we are told he has two brothers being held somewhere on this base. You guys can either die like the rest or you can tell me where they are and you can live." Andrei laid out a simple ultimatum to the surviving soldiers he thought would get them to speak. Surany and Mini landed next to Andrei and O and Sophia who had been back at a distance watching came up to the group as well.
One of the soldiers who probably wasn't their smartest said to his fellow soldiers "There are only five we can take them, there are ten of us!" which another soldier slapped the one who spoke up along the back of his head. Andrei chuckled at the display from the soldiers and could see that most of them were really scared and not wanting to fight him.
"Sandarian prisoners are held in that building over there" A different soldier pointed to a building behind Andrei. Prince then appeared and opened up the door and walked in. The soldiers saw the door open behind Andrei and that a dark figure had appeared in front of the door just a moment before it opened and closed again. Andrei then got a big smile on his face and told the soldiers to head to the settlement and that they could live.
Andrei turned his back to the soldiers and the group all followed him leaving the soldiers stunned. The group of soldiers stood there for several minutes by themselves not sure what to do as they were supposed to defend the facility but their lives were just spared. One finally spoke up "Well I won't take another chance with fate today, I am leaving. Somewhere in this galaxy soldiers are needed so that is what I am going to go do." and that soldier turned toward the settlement and left. A few minutes later all of them had left for the settlement.
Andrei entered the facility that Prince had told him there were definitely prisoners being held and no one protecting them. They walked through the facility trying to find the Sandarians when they came across a staircase leading to lower floors. Andrei instructed Mini to find out how to release the prisoners and hopefully they could be saved unlike the last facility they visited that had cages.
Andrei and O went down the staircase to a lower level that seemed to have a fighting pit and to the side were more cages and O spotted his two brothers sleeping in one of the cages. Trip and Blunt were both being sedated by a gas that was present in the cage that Andrei and O could see. There was a panel next to the cage that had levers and buttons and to Andrei's surprise it simply said wake up on a button so he hit and the gas was sucked out by a tube above the cage and cleared out. The two Sandarians woke up pretty quickly and Andrei pulled up the lever that said Cage Up and the cage did just that over the two brothers.
"Outalomnonum, what are you doing here?" Blunt asked as he was gaining his senses and recognized his brother by the transparent spikes with red tips. He was lifting Trip up as Trip was still a bit groggy from the sedative. They both gained their balance and exited the cage looking at Andrei wondering who he was.
"Andrei here needs help, our family is to help him, he is stronger than anyone you will ever know." O was brief and direct. The two Sandarians sized up Andrei when Prince popped up which caused both Sandarians to back up in shock. Prince had a smile on his face, the swirling elemental colors in his smile giving it a creepy look even to Sandarians, he then opened up with "Greeting children of Jazzoline, Queen of Outalomnonum I am Prince an eternal spirit of this Galaxy and behind me is the Fate of our Galaxy. There is no greater honor than to defend the Galaxy from threats. I implore you to follow your brother and join Death Squad to do just that."
Prince then disappeared back into Andrei and the two Sandarians watched as he did so then looked Andrei up and down again. They both shrugged their shoulders as if not impressed then looked at O "If it means we don't have to be here anymore who cares what we are doing!" Blunt bluntly spoke.
Andrei noticed it seemed like they respected O the most so far and Andrei figured that he could use that to his advantage. The four of them headed back upstairs and Mini was heard just as they made it back to the first floor.
"We have an incoming ship that could hold up to a hundred soldiers. Sorry, make that five ships incoming, they all just appeared on the edge of my sensors. Will update if more appear." Visually Surany and Andrei could see the ships with their exceptional eyesight but the Sandarians were left confused by what the commotion was about.
"Let's bottleneck them so that their numbers don't count. Use this facility as our backside with Sophia and LaLa watching for anything to scale the backside of the facility to get to us. Sandarians take the middle and smash! Mini and Surany give them aerial support and I will fill in the gaps.
O smiled and cracked the 20 knuckles on his four hands and gave a chuckle. "Brothers when he says smash, we smash!" And he then punched both Blunt and Trip on their shoulders to pump them up. They growled back at the assault they just took from their brother but it was a Sandarian way to prepare each other for fighting. The three punched each other a couple more times and multiple growls were heard then they bolted to the entrance of the facility.
Everyone stood outside waiting for the ships to land when Andrei thought that maybe they would just blast them from the sky. The ships never came close enough as they landed a mile away from the base in an opening that would allow them to unload everyone without being in combat.
One figure approached the base and appeared to have a drone above his head that reminded Andrei of the drill sergeant from cadet training and sure enough a booming voice was heard "Ahh, I see you have freed my Sandarian pets. I didn't know we captured a third? I am sure someone would have informed me so you must be here to rescue them which means I get a third pet. Behind me are 500 men gifted in the art of killing. They have all been told that on my signal they are to kill all of you or they are to wait and no signal is sent because you have surrendered."
Andrei audibly laughed as hard as he could, slapping his leg making a scene. "I was hoping we were wrong and you were going to say you had brought 5,000 troops. 500 that are cowering by the warmth of their ships is what you have. You all can leave with your lives or come forward to lose them, either way it's your decision we can wait."
The man standing with the drone was not happy with this response and a flare shot off into the air from his finger tip.
"Guess that means they were signaled" O grunted out and the Sandarians all stomped their feet and got themselves prepared to battle. A device that they guessed was not a good thing fell to the ground nearby and O reflexively kicked the device away and a moment later it exploded. Another one came near Andrei and he did the same. Seeing where it came from he summoned a "Barrier" and the next one was fired and then went straight back down and exploded killing the one who shot it and two others that were running passed at that moment.
Bullets were shot out from multiple different angles and the Sandarians covered themselves and Andrei dodged any that came near him. He hadn't used "Adrenaline Rush" his vampire body and gear had given him such a high level of agility that he could see the bullets with ease. He summoned Sparky which caught everyone off guard for a moment till the soldiers were dying and Sparky was defending the Sandarians. Burny was summoned as well and Andrei figured he would bring the whole crew and decided to summon a "Demonic Army" with two Grunts and two Terrors with the one Stalker.
Surany was riding Sunfire and Mini was in the air with her clones and they were raining down devastation to the soldiers who mostly were melee fighters. They had no aerial presence and the few that had guns were taken out quickly.
The man with the drone had stood still watching the battle unfold and how quickly his forces were being destroyed. He had never seen anything like what he was witnessing as the Sandarians were the least of his concerns and he had brought mostly melee and super strength to combat the power.
Blood Arrows rained down around him and the soldiers that were closest to the man with the drone all died. The drone burst a green explosion from an attack from Mini and the man was standing by himself. He suddenly realized he was the only one left and the enemy were all surrounding him.
"No third pet for you!" O said as he swung his tail and smashed in the skull of the man.
"Well I was going to ask him questions but I don't blame you O." Andrei jabbed at his Sandarian squad member.
"I can do one better!" Mini spoke up as she was near the first ship and had communicated over the earpiece. She flew into the first ship and within a minute the ship flew over to them and she exited it and moved to the next. She converted all five and sent the last 4 back to Goliath.
She came back to the group and informed them of what she found as they all got on the ship to check it out. "This is the flagship of the faction Red Heron. They have been causing quite the stir, which is why O's brothers were sent here with a group of 50 that were overwhelmed and they captured the two Sandarians to test them. They just thought they could use them for sport, as the Red Heron faction is human only."
"We seem to run into a lot of those groups these days!" Andrei said half joking half serious. The group Ra caused them issues and they were pro human, this group was pro human but just took a massive blow to their status.
"Can we release the prisoners in the facility?" Andrei inquired of Mini as she was looking over the ship's logs. Mini looked up and just smiled, "They have already been released, they probably are scared of us."
They looked around the ship and then stepped off with Mini setting it to Goliath. They started talking about what to do next when an alarm at the base started sounding. The one facility that was on the opposite side of the base had its main entrance explode open and a stream of beasts came out. The beasts were all Advanced tier and looked like an owl's head with a bear body.
The first beast that came close opened its mouth and a fire ball shot out at the group. The beast then stood on its hind legs and with its front legs swiped at the air and out of its claws yellow streaks of lightning hit Andrei who had been looking elsewhere when the attack was made so he was unable to move out of the way.

"Hello!" Thought Andrei was a big number for a beast to him so far. He pulled out his shield that he had retracted and grabbed his spear's handle for it to reappear. The group had already taken fighting stances and a new fight began. These beasts were firing at range with their lightning claws and fire ball breath.
O was the first to suddenly fall over and Andrei wasn't sure what was going on to cause him to fall because he had seen O pick up a beast by its fur and lift it above his head then fall. Then Blunt picked up a beast to smash it as well and he fell over. Sophia was next to O quickly trying to heal him but he wasn't injured. A beast was close to Andrei and he pulled his glove off and touched the fur of the beast and he suddenly felt weak. His interface was showing he has been affected by a sleep paralysis ability and it asked if he wanted to counter it.
[Sleep Paralysis encountered, counter it? Y/N]
YES! He shouted in his head and then to the group "The fur of the beast has a sleep paralysis ability to it, do not touch the fur." and the Sandarian who was used to using his fists and tail didn't know what to do. Andrei was quick on his feet and he yelled catch to Trip and he had tossed him a blood handle.
Trip caught the blood handle and it turned into a massive double bladed axe. He hadn't expected to see the weapon appear but then he swung down on the closest beast and it split it in two. "I am keeping this!" Trip shouted out not knowing Andrei was planning on it anyways.
Andrei then thought about how he had tamed a beast and added it while in VR which led him to Sparky and this beast was just as cool. He focused on a beast that wasn't currently in combat and quickly through Lauren's ability told the group he was taming the beast in front of him and not to interfere. Then his hand started glowing and the beast made an interesting "hoooo" that vibrated in staccato.

"Hooty" is the name Andrei decided on as it was simple to say like the rest of his pet names.

Yes, he thought, for now at least until this current fight was over, he didn't want to get them confused at all. He also thought he should try and figure out a way to get more beasts out than just the two. This thought put a new request into the forgers back on Goliath. Jibin knew about pet gear and started to work on the request right away.
A fireball to his back taking off another twenty five HP brought Andrei back from his thoughts. He focused on a beast close to him and shot it with his spears lightning blood bolt. The beast actually lived despite taking the hit directly in its chest while standing up, sending out a claw attack at Trip. This was the first beast or anything to not be severely damaged by the spear attack which intrigued Andrei. He shot another bolt at the joint of the leg and it once again didn't seem to have much effect.
He pulled back the sling on his right arm and let out each of the elements which did little to no damage each as well. He thrusted forward with the spear and it pierced and killed a beast which felt like there was no resistance. He shot another one and it did nothing then stabbed the same beast and killed it instantly as the spear pierced its brain. Andrei put his spear in his inventory for a moment to try an "Ice Axe". The "Ice Axe" chopped the head off the beast with complete ease. He threw the "Ice Axe" at another beast and it killed that beast on the spot.
Andrei was starting to understand that this beast somehow could negate abilities but not physical damage. He looked around and saw hundreds of them and he saw that his pets were collecting cores from them. He made note to make sure these cores get put into armor for all of them. Once again another requisition was formed on the Goliath and Horis seeing the cores starting to pile up, started on the first piece.
Andrei pulled back out his spear so that it would level. He jabbed the closest beast but it didn't die, he realized he was being lenient for some reason and he refocused his efforts. He noticed Surany was just hovering out of reach of the attacks. Mini had pulled out her sword and was flying above the beasts slicing them in half with her momentum.
LaLa and Prince were keeping the Sandarians that were asleep alive as the fur didn't bother them. Andrei wasn't sure how many more beasts they would have to defeat so he spoke in case Prince couldn't hear his mind anymore "Defend them, I will look for the source or cut these beasts off so we can get out of here"
He looked up to Surany and through Lauren he reached out to her and told her to come down to them. He pulled out three blood handles and told her to pick one that is a melee she can use and to help defend O and Blunt. She picked up the first and it was a dagger, the second was a longer dagger, and the third was a spiked mallet that she kept in her hand and attacked the closest beast, killing it with a swift blow to the head.
Mini was his next to reach out through Lauren and he simply told her to find the source. She responded with the facility to the northeast of his location is where they were coming out and it hadn't slowed down. She had dropped a bomb earlier on the entrance only to make a crater on the ground and scorch marks on the building.
He signaled her to grab him and drop her off at the entrance and in his usual form landed on a barrier. As before the pets started making their way to Andrei, he was focused on the entrance and placed a "Stone Wall" to stop more creatures from coming out.
He turned around with his spear in hand and was shocked to see the beasts all still going away from him but hadn't noticed him. He could still see several hundred which made him wonder what could have made so many on this base.
Andrei summoned a "Demonic Army" at his location with three grunts and three terrors and one stalker. He figured that would be enough to clean up the area and he then cancelled his "Stone Wall" and thrust out his spear killing the beast that was clawing at the stone wall just a moment before.
His spear glowed again and this time the shape of the spear tip changed to add a hook to the heart shape tip. The glow of the spear lit up the surrounding area with an intense red that the beasts in the facility cowered back not sure what was happening. Then the tip of the spear shot out and latched onto a beast which then pulled Andrei to the beast which he was not expecting and he instinctively let go of the blood handle. The spear disappeared and Andrei regained his balance and picked the spear back up.

This time he was prepared for it and shot the spear head with a twist of the handle that he felt happened when it shot out the first time like he felt the lightning bolt was a squeeze. The spear head latched onto the body of a beast that was standing still and Andrei lunged forward but he had summoned an "Ice Axe" in his left hand that he let his momentum being pulled slice the head off the beast. He quickly shot the head out again and lunged to the next making quick work and moving forward into the base.
The building that he entered was a hallway that looked like beasts were herded into the hallway that had marks along the walls and floors from beasts claws. The ceiling was transparent and it appeared another floor above was for scientists, was Andrei's best guess as he still had no idea what he was going down.
The hallway took a bend and then it led to what could only be described as a complex of cages all opened and all empty. So he had literally just killed the last to try to leave the facility. Andrei walked through the area and could not find anything till he saw an "Interact" on a computer terminal through the transparent ceiling. He so far hadn't seen any way to get up above but didn't give up hope.
He exited the facility the same way he came in as he found no way to get to the above area for the "Interact" that had caught his attention. He started to circle the facility to see if there were other entrances, exits, ladders, windows, anything to access besides the beast hallway. As he walked his interface notified him that he was leveled up again.

Andrei did a double take, his leveling up just multiplied by a factor of 10. He actually felt the boost as well when it happened. He opened his profile and added them to Agility as his plan still hadn't changed and he seemed to be stronger than even super strength ability users. He had almost completed his circle around the building when he came across a double door that slid open when he approached it. There seemed to be no security on it as no one probably expected anyone to get this far into the base that wasn't supposed to be there.
The doors that opened led to a lift which Andrei stepped in and in a moment opened on the interior of the building another double door opened. The area was exactly what Andrei was trying to find and now that he was up on the floor he could see lots of computers and all of them had "Interact" on them. He stepped to the closest one and his hand hovered while he thought of "Interact" and then he was suddenly given a new interface.

Yes! Andrei thought as suddenly noise came from outside and Surany was the first to speak on the earpiece "Uh boss is that you? Or are we in a lot of trouble?" The fence had disappeared and out of the ground was rising a metallic wall with spikes on top of them. The guard towers were transforming in front of the squad's eyes as it suddenly had a red crystal in the center and the tower was now the same metallic substance as the walls. On every corner of each building, an automated defense turret appeared with a similar red crystal inside of the barrel.

Andrei didn't know what the hell that meant and so he said No for now in his mind. "Boss, two of your pets are here on the ship in cages, there is a man who claims we left him here for forever, and five ships just entered the dock and landed with no one on board. Is everything ok?" Jayson was reaching out through Lauren to Andrei who was a bit pleased that someone else was using her.
Andrei explained the situation to Jayson with each and Jayson replied "He is offering to help with the beasts, they apparently are his specialty as a scientist and is offering to help us." Andire pondered what this meant but figured the guy couldn't leave anyways so why not. "As long as it benefits the beasts then he can help." Andrei replied through Lauren.
The next thing Andrei had noticed on the map was that he now had access to all the levels of each facility and he could see that there were other buildings with cages of beasts. The one he was in was labeled batch D, Batch A was eliminated, Batch B the survivors were being held in what seemed to be the main facility at least for beasts. Batch C was held in the same building as Batch B but appeared to have a thousand of them. Batch D was now considered released and there was a Batch E currently in process. Then he noticed that in the main base they had a beast nest crystal that they were creating beasts and that was the Batch labeling.

Andrei didn't know what that would entail and he wasn't sure if he would ever come back here so he declined the offer but figured that he would have to find or make a base soon. This planet had multiple factions that Andrei still knew nothing about and he technically just stole this base from one of them so he didn't know the repercussions to this just yet.
Andrei walked over to the sleeping Sandarians which had the rest of the squad standing guard unsure if there were more beasts or not. Andrei informed them it was over and he touched the two sleeping Sandarians and the three ported to Goliath. The two were ported into the infirmary and Andrei was ported to the pet section where the scientist was left in a cage.
"You never told me your name?" Andrei questioned the scientist who was finally out of his cage and stretching his muscles was startled hearing Andrei speak from behind him out of nowhere. The reaction got a chuckle out of Andrei who figured he would scare him no matter what approach he took when he first arrived the way he did.
"Bert Strickland" he put his hand out recognizing Andrei and knowing he was the leader at this point. The two shook hands and Andrei then informed him of the base they had just taken and Bert looked at a computer to see for himself. He then informed Andrei that he could start the process back up and use a beast like Sparky as the blueprint and they would have a massive supply of Sparkys. The idea actually sounded like a good idea which Andrei asked if they could make more of Hooty as well as he wanted to gear everyone out in those cores.
Andrei was looking at the beasts and he noticed that there were two new beasts in cages behind Fluffy and Burny. He didn't know this but when he would summon the beasts they came from this part of the ship and return to here when he would "hide" them. Then he ran "Identify" on the two and were labeled as "Batch B from Junti" and "Batch C from Junti".
"What do we know about Batch B and C from the base?" Andrei inquired of Bert who was still looking at all of the information that they had on the base. There was a silence which Andrei anticipated him to not know the answer instantly. When he finally spoke there was an excitement in his voice "Batch B they discovered how to make the anti ability beast, it was a standard beast but only physical attacks can harm it. It has exceptional strength but is quite slow, its mouth can chew through some intermediate armor."
"Batch C was the next step of the anti ability defense, they were able to put it into an intermediate beast who was much quicker of a build. The centipede-like beast had 30 little legs and was extremely fast, its mouth had pincers on it that were poison tipped which would drain the stamina of its target." Bert concluded to Andrei which led him to give them both better names than Batch B and Batch C.
Bubba for the big slow beast and Sid for the quick centipede-like beast. They both did little dances in their cages and Andrei got a chuckle out of the action. Bert was amazed to see the dance and looked at Andrei to see if he thought it was a weird action but was surprised to see him chuckle at the action as if he had seen it many times before.
Bert then asked permission to experiment on and create more powerful beasts. He believes that beast cores could be fed to make them level up a tier. They were trying to perfect that in a humanoid beast at his previous lab and he believed he could accomplish it with the cores that were collected thus far plus the tech on Goliath was more advanced than anything he had worked with so he believed that would also guarantee success.
Fluffy was Andrei's first but also now his weakest so he told Bert to see if he could level up Fluffy for him. He also felt that the two new batch beasts would need it as well so he told him that if he was successful with Fluffy to repeat it to the rest starting with the batch beasts.
Andrei pulled up his Galaxy map and his new base on Junti had a portal to click on which he did and suddenly he was standing in the middle of the base between all the facilities. Surany was actually only a few yards away and it scared her causing her to leap up in the air and scream in fright only to realize it was Andrei who just appeared in front of her eyes.
"Can you at least give me a heads up when you're going to appear in front of me like that!" Surany pleaded with a smile on her face. "I didn't know I would appear here when I clicked on the portal to this base" was Andrei's response but he was also looking and could see that 5 turrets were pointing at him, and they all resumed a scanning motion.
"Oh I thought you ported to me somehow, that makes more sense!" Surany blurted out not wanting to sound like an idiot to her boss. The two of them proceeded to where Mini and Trip were located as they were in a full discussion.
"Not to interrupt but this is now our base and the beasts within are ours as well. The scientist we got from the Ra facility has agreed to work on leveling up the beasts to their full potential and believes this facility and Goliath will help him obtain that goal. So you can check out the beasts on deck 2." Andrei told the three of them, Trip was completely confused as he had never been on Goliath nor knew what Andrei meant by Ra.
Andrei slapped Trip on the back where he could reach and gave him a warm smile "Your brothers are recovering on Goliath right now and will be back on their feet in no time." Andrei didn't even know that they had woken and were both porting to their next destination where their sister was last seen. Andrei had gathered Surany, Sophia, Mini, and Trip and ported to planet "Kintherim" as the last known location of Xena.
