On Lucas his side, he got a system notification.

'Holy shit! Ghost killed the boss so quickly plus the rewards are crazy good.'
Lucas, Grishna and Krasbert were currently hiding on tall trees.
'I hope Ghost finishes soon on his side. The group of 50 orcs are closing in.'

After killing the orc chief, Ghost acted quickly and started beheading the stunned orcs.
When they started fighting back he moved from shadow to shadow to appear behind them.
It took Ghost less than 10 minutes to kill all 30 orcs.
If he didn't share half the experience he got from them with Lucas he would've reached level 15 long ago.
Ghost started running out of the village and towards Lucas and the large orc group.
Since Agility was his highest stat it didn't take too long.
Ghost could soon see the large group of monsters and he immediately took action since he could sense Lucas was very close to being caught.
As soon as Ghost beheaded the first two orcs, Lucas and the other avatars also started attacking them from the other side.
Lucas used every skill he had to kill as many orcs as possible.
Ghost killed the most and was the fastest.
Grishna didn't have trouble killing them, but she had to keep retrieving her arrows so it took longer.
Krasbert struggled the most. He had to target single orcs from the back or the ones that were injured.
'I fucking hate this. I need to grow stronger!'

It took them roughly 20 minutes to kill them all.
It would've been much faster hadn't Ghost already been exhausted from fights before and the sprint here.
'There is not a single orc left in this gate.'
"Let's head back to their village. I need to store their corpses."
"I also want to check the boss's stats and get the gate core."
Right when he was about to depart Lucas remembered getting level up notifications.
'Oh right!'
When he checked he was extremely happy.
'Let's goo!'
'Ghost and Grishna both reached level 15!'
'I now have 25 avatar points and can summon a C-rank avatar.'
Lucas decided to first head for the orc village before summoning another avatar.
When they arrived Lucas stored the corpses except for the boss's corpse.

Lucas stored his corpse and headed for the biggest wooden house that belonged to the boss.
He found the gate core, but decided not to destroy it yet.
'I'm gonna summon a new avatar first and decide what to do after.'
So far Lucas had first summoned Krasbert as a F-rank and later evolved him to E-rank.
Then came Grishna who was E-rank and now D-rank.
And lastly Ghost who was D-rank and now C-rank.
It was finally time to summon a C-rank avatar.
Lucas clicked on the Avatar Summon (SSS) skill and chose the C-rank avatar option for 20 avatar points.

A bright light appeared before him once again, but this time much brighter.
Congratulations! You have summoned the C-rank Avatar, William Baker.
As soon as the light disappeared Lucas was surprised.
In front of him stood a tall and skinny man in his thirties with what looked like a mage robe and staff.
'A Human?'
The man looked confuse, but he quickly composed himself and bowed to Lucas.
"Greetings master. My name is William Baker. I will be your loyal servant from today onwards."
"Welcome William, it's good to have you."

William was just standing still before him.
He was a little shorter than Lucas, but still tall. He had a short brown beard and hair. He also wore glasses that covered his blue eyes.
Lucas gave William a brief explanation of everything that's happened since the appearance of gates and some other things about this world.
William easily comprehend everything Lucas said and asked some insightful questions every now and then.
He then spoke again.
"Master, may I make a suggestion?"
"Sure, go ahead."
"I suggest we explore everything in this gate and take every possible material with us."
"I'm sure everything in this gate will have it's own use."
Lucas responded.
"Good idea, let's do that."
Lucas ordered them all to split up and explore the whole gate.
'I was way too focused on hunting monsters and clearing gates that I overlooked the precious materials we can get from the gates.'

After exploring for a couple hours Lucas decided it was time to destroy the gate core and leave this place.
They had collected a lot of materials and most were already familiar to William.
After destroying the gate core Lucas received some notifications from the system.
